Guys, you know that the best way for town to win a game is healthy, balanced participation of all parties. You guys spamming the thread with 3 pages of nitpicking will just make the other players either: A- wince in pain and refuse to post, or B- hide easily as scum.

So make your point and wait for the others, okay?

As for the spamfest:
I want to ask each of Kairyuu, Magnus Orion and Red which are the TWO posts that make you the most sure that the person you are voting is scum.

I also want to ask Artem: Do you believe any of the current points being made are good? Which of Kairyuu, M_O and Red seem scum for you, and how strongly?

Where the hell did I say that? Of course I read those 3 pages of spam. That's why I complained about it. If you will take my suggestion, restrict yourself to 4 posts a day, and make an effort to post relevant opinions and responses in each post. That will reduce the amount of noise in the thread and make it easier for everybody to participate.

Also, you posted so much, and yet did not answer my simple question. Which two posts are the most relevant to your case?

My opinion: I got some town feels (not saying who) from the spammy three pages, and no particularly scummy reads yet. Waiting for Artem to answer me.

I did not quite like the way that LeChat buddied up to me and Nuwen without contributing to the discussion, so I'm a bit happier with my vote. Nuwen, ABR, do you think that piling a few more votes on the cat might make him loose his tongue?

And of course, we still have three or four more players to contribute. Hope to see them when I return tomorrow!

, my "find scum in the first three pages" technique was kinda sabotaged with only four players posting for the three pages. I think when I sit to read more carefully the first 6 I might have something better.

You voted Red, but I'm going for Magnus for now. Do you think that Red is much more suspicious than Magnus? Should I be voting Red instead of M_O?

- the difference for me between agreeing and buddying up is the lack of scumhunting content in the later. Le Chat's reply to my post was equally undecisive and after reading 98, I still don't know who he suspects. Although I'm getting weak confused newbie vibes from that post, I like to try and ignore those.

As for why I assumed you a townie, I go from the principle that each player is more likely town than scum at the start of the game (because there are more town than scum in the game), and then they become scummy based on their actions, not the other way around.

(I also give a few free extra townie points in the beginning of the game to players I like. Namely Artem, Albert and You).

I would approve your "let's all be friends together" proposal. Oh, and I messed up my initial post - By "age" I meant our scumage - how long we had been on MS. Ooops

Anyway, your post 98 was more tangled than a kitten's wool ball (thanks for the links, though!). Who do you suspect right now, and why?

What if there weren't exactly 2 posts that I feel could sum up the case? What if I don't find Artem scummy? I think those 3 pages do the best job of displaying what I wanted to display.

If you didn't find Artem scummy, you could have just said that, and I would ask you why you were voting and pushing him them. If you do find Artem scummy, I want you to summarize your opinion on him. This will help me feel how honest you are being about it.

I got townie reads from Magnus and Kairyuu. This adds them to Albert and Nuwen in my list of protown people. Magnus is still annoying as hell, though - 40 page D1? Please! Do you want this game to never have any replacement volunteers ever? Quality >> Quantity.

Rosso x MM is interesting.

MM could get some lynching. I'm a bit disappointed, because Albert was all "Wow, MM is a nice player" and stuff pre-game. She seriously need to re-read and contribute when she returns. "Not being good at D1" is not an excuse.

Rosso is not that bad of a lynch either. He gave 2 opinions so far - "Red Die is scum", and "IGME on Artem", which is better than MM but not enough for the amount of defending he is getting from VP, Red and Cat. Also I'm all for lynching those who can't play in a civil manner.

Question for MM: I want you to give interesting opinions on at least 3 players.

Question for Rosso: In 199 you say that "People who say 'I don't know who are scum' are scum" - do you think that Le Chat falls in that profile in this game? How scummy is Le Chat?

I would vote for either of them for being useless - but I want to wait for them to answer my question first. In the meanwhile, I'm voting for someone else who is useless as the above two but is not getting as much attention as he deserves (and getting a lot of "I suspect him" mentions which are not being followed):

Also, I want to draw more attention to Le Chat. He is displaying a "uncertain" and "trying to please" attitude that I see all too often in newbie scum. He is not really scumhunting of his own accord, but rather trying to fall in line with other people's opinions and not trying to offend anyone too strongly. I would easily switch my vote from Red_Dye to Le Chat if I get some support.

So, what do other people think of Le Chat? Magnus?

When you say that MM is far more scummy than him, and then picture his wagon as purely a grudge lynch, when there is a bit more to that than it.

MM is scummier than him? I agree. MM is far more scummier than him? No. BTW, "Extending the RVS" is a useless complication - the case on MM is that she is not contributing, just like Rosso (a bit worse).

Rosso has limited his opinions to two players, and has not backed up his opinions with votes. He may say "I like to hammer" until he gets blue, I will hold this against him.

Nuwen contradictory stance can be explained by A. She is scum with MM, or B. MM is not abusive. Since A requires info I don't have (alignment of MM), I'll go with B for now. As for her disappearance, her last post was friday - I would wait for the weekend to end before saying anything.

Also, what is your opinion on Le Chat? Newbie scum?

* Say that Rosso is not dying today, and neither are you. Who would you vote between Albert and Red Dye, and why?

I'm a bit dismotivated by the last few pages. I'm still up for hanging Chamber (Red Dye), MM or Le Chat.

Le Chat: Your previous post is an improvement. But I can expect that after I hounded you so much you would try to improve anyway. Your ISO 4 is nice because you explicitly says who you suspect, but I found that your suspicion at the time was kinda "too safe". Mind you, right now two of my suspects are the same as yours, so that counts points for you. Either you're town and I'm wrong, or you are distancing from Chamber-scumpartner, and I'm fine with that too.

Magnus - Could you explain to me why you think Hero is scum? I don't have a clear read of him right now. Would like to know your case.

Chamber - I would like to hear your reasons suspecting Kairyuu - If nothing else because you are one of the best alternatives for lynching right now.

Heh sorry about that. I'm just not getting very inspired by this game at the moment and that leads me to a more passive tone. Red Dye and MM are still reasonable lynches, but I'm undecided if I should let go of Le Chat or not.

I'll re-read Herotodus and Chat more carefully.

As if you aren't concerned with the scumminess of the lynch so much as concerned with whether people will be willing to lynch.

Why can't I be concerned with both? Of course I'm interested in knowing who wants to lynch who - the largest part of my scumhunting in later days comes from comparing people's positions on wagons and card flips.
