Yes, I already know the

answer, given that I have experience as both a JK and a Gunsmith, however, if the JK had claimed alternate mechanics (Although I doubt it, as the requirement for that would have simply been "Alien"), I didn't pick up on it. The claim doesn't hold up, given standard JK and standard GS mechanics.

There's a name for "that variant", it's called Alien. For "Alien" to be called "Jailkeeper" would be pretty non-normal. The definition I was given when I was looking into creating a setup was "A Normal is the sort of game that someone who knows nothing about the specifics can look at the role list, and know what each role does.". For JK to be Alien would go against that rather heavily I think.

And to be frank, Sky will have been told what his results would be. Even if he's only told the affirmative, "If they carry a gun, you will get X result back". From X you can determine Y. Guilty <-> Innocent. Carries a gun <-> Does not carry a gun. No result is precisely what it says on the tin, you did not recieve your result.

Firstly, faking a "No Result" would let you claim Roleblocked the rest of the game as Scum. Secondly, I'm voting because under standard mechanics, you would not have recieved a No Result in the situation you describe. Thirdly, what bandwagon exactly? You have two votes, hardly a "bandwagon".

And I should probably point out that if we hit deadline, Sky's in the lead. If you actually wanted to protect him, Pere would likely be your best bet.

Surely the Mod would never confirm that anyway? That'd be revealing the number of Scum in the setup by default really, which I'm fairly sure would be a pretty heavy effect on the game.

In addition, your claim of "no matter what" is simply false. Locke actually stated that he'd willingly go towards a Peregrine lynch if consensus wouldn't favour what looked like a fakeclaim (to me) from Sky.

And also, your claim that it's "only me" that reads the wiki is frankly unneeded exaggeration. This is a Normal. From the definitions I was given by a member of the mini-Normal review board, a JK with Alien powers would be non-normal.. or at the very least touching the line.

Oh, and a final point to you. The three that brought the day to No-Lynch were you, Yabba and Swiftstrike. You say there were "gobs of other scum around".. why not vote for Peregrine, who you'd expressed a null read on (essentially, saying his tunneling on Rikana was too dodgy), rather than drawing the day to a no-lynch by trying to start a fresh wagon on me?

Yabba > 1: 'Tis the way I question things. I'm an engineer in training.. "Why exactly" is almost a mantra..
2: It's absurd to claim that taking the Wiki definition in a Normal game is somehow scummy or negative. As I've said, the definition of Normal would make a role like that Alien..
3: I misread what you had said, and I apologised for it. I fail to see how noting my error is somehow a scummy thing to do.
