The local street racing club is hosting the annual street racing contest, where 12 brave drivers vie for the street racing championship and bragging rights...

However, when the racing was about to start, the contest director who calls himself MM said to everyone this:

"(evil tone) You all will be in much more danger ahead than you expect! You see, I have hired many hitmen street racers, who are among the 12 of you, to kill the rest of you true street racing enthusiasts, mwuahahahaahahaha! Plus, I have implanted explosive devices ready for detonation by my remote in every racer's car, so nobody can escape, mwuahahahahahaha! You all will never survive the twists and turns and lie ahead, let's see who can make it to the finish line, mwuahahahahahaha!"

"Also, since I enjoy action, you all can reach a majority on who to kill everyday, and I will do my best with my remote and my loaded helicopter to hunt down whoever you all decide should be killed everyday. I love seeing you see tearing each other apart, mwuahahahahahaha!"

I will not tolerate excessive abuse upon freedom of speech: obscenity, profanity, libel, and fighting words will not be tolerated, and if you push it, the contest director reserves the right to have you replaced. [02] Do not talk outside of this thread, unless your role PM explicitly says you may do so, and even then, you are restricted to night-time for all out-of-thread conversation.

Technical Rules

[01] Each day the town must decide on a lynch. Once a majority has been reached on a player, that player will be lynched, regardless of any subsequent unvoting.
[02] To vote for somebody, please use bold tags. For example,

[04] If the game lags, I will place a deadline, which may or may not be retractable

If this number is not reached, day will end in no-lynch, and the game will progress directly into night.
[06] If two or more players are tied for the most votes when a deadline hits, and they have garnered the required amount of votes to be lynched under a deadline, the player who reached that number of votes first shall be lynched.
[07] You may vote no-lynch if you wish. A majority voting for no-lynch will end the day, and the game will progress directly into night. To do this, simply

As the day dawns, everyone takes a break at the designated pit stop and see who have survived the night. After a quick head and car count, everyone realizes that only 9 racers remain.

After a search for the dead racers, one person found one huge pile of rubble on the side of the road with the remains of a car and a person in pieces. Two notes were found as well, one lying on the ground while the other was on what seemed to be a rocket fin.

The message on the rocket fin said: "Bye-bye Coron, enjoy"

Coron: You are the top hit man hired by me. You'll have a blazing blue Chevrolet Corvette. You and your fellow hit man goons will have to eliminate all true racing enthusiasts at all costs!

Meanwhile, another person has found a red Enzo Ferrari with heavy damage lying upside down on the road. Atticus's dead body was found inside the car, along with flat tires, bullet marks, a sawed off trunk, and the engine still on fire.

The racers begin to search for the missing person, and after a while many arrive at the source of the heavy smoke seen in the sky. A very small car identified as a lime green Volkswagen Beetle was still on fire and had suffered very heavy damage on the road. After retrieving the body inside the car, everyone realizes that mikeburnfire was the victim of this tragedy...

mikeburnfire: You are a true street racing enthusiast who drives a tiny lime green Volkswagen Beetle. Atticus: You are a true street racing enthusiast who drives the fastest and perhaps most expensive car in the world, a red Enzo Ferrari. With your car’s super speed, every night except night 0, you can choose to catch up to one fellow street racer and let that racer hop into your car so that if the hit men come, both of you can get away by going over 200 MPH.

mike: Successfully turned his unknown and potenitally disastrous insane status into sane by investigating and clearing 2 miller townies. Also convinced the town to not lynch him when he first fake claimed mason then claimed cop.

Dodgy: Nailed the toughest scum to eliminate, godfather Coron, by using his only vig shot. Also hammered both other scum. So essentially Dodgy was a big part in the doom of all 3 scum.

As you can see from the setup the theme of this game was to be confusing and misleading. I first hinted at this in the last sentence of the beginning monologue where I said "I love seeing you all tearing each other apart, mwuahahahahahaha!"

My first attempt to add misleading info to the game is everyone's cars. I thought someone may pick up on the listing of all the cars in the 3rd post and start speculating about different types and colors of cars signaling the different alignments and roles. In reality everyone's cars were just randomly assigned and in the game nobody was really mislead by the cars, which helped the town.

My second attempt for confusion was to add the sane and insane cops to the game, which I tend to have in all the games I make up. I figured there may be a point in the game where one cop claims, the other cop counters, and the town eventually lynches both of them because of the assumption that one is lying. And actually in the game, the exact opposite happened where the town believed both cops, which benefitted the town in the end. The day cop element in the insane cop just adds another twist where the day cop may investigate a goon who looked scummy and then the result turns up innocent.

And obviously my third and biggest attempt for adding misleading info to the game are the millers and godfather. The millers could have led to mislynches by the town, mis-vigging by Dodgy, and even draw speculation about masons looking like scum gambiting. And of course the godfather could have gotten cleared by the sane cop. In the actual game however, only the sane cop investigating the godfather ever happened, with everything else actually having the opposite effect with the insane cop getting all the millers.

So to sum it up, there were many traps laid for the town in this game, and the town was almost flawless in dodging those traps, en route to a victory.
