I have noticed that BBT has made statements that one would normally consider to be matters of opinion (i.e. "I think X is scum") as statements of fact (i.e. "X is scum"). I thought this was a little brazen but I had assumed that this was just his normal way of trying to drive the game by drawing lines in the sand and inviting debate.

This isn't scummy in the general case, but the way he's doing it constantly and it's coming across as forced makes me think he's scum.

Here's my quick votecount which should explain why everyone should sheep me onto Unlynchable, and should do so now with minimal further discussion.

The game is, as unlynchable said, either 3:1:1 or 2:2:1 or 3:2

Looking at situation 1:

RC-Scum/Sk was just inno'd and thus would be a prime target for the other enemy, so RC-Scum wants to lynch scum.
RC-Town is town.

Looking at situation 2:

RC-Sk wants scum dead as much as anyone.
RC-Scum would, by virtue of the setup, either jump on Garmr or BBT if neither are my partner, or would force a NL and RB / take out the SK if one of them is.
RC-town is town.

Looking at situation 3:

RC-Scum would, by virtue of the setup, either jump on Garmr or BBT if neither are my partner, or would force a NL and RB / take out the SK if one of them is.
RC-town is town.

I'm basically confirmed as a non-member of the primary scumteam and based on Peacebringer's claim, I'm almost certainly not SK unless PB is my mafia partner in which case we'd speedwagon BBT or Garmr.

There are 2 scum in the pool of BBT/Garmr/Unlynchable/RC

I know I'm town and that should be fairly obvious to others too given the above setup analysis and how generally towny and awesome I am.

Now we're looking at one town in the pool of BBT/Garmr/Unlynchable. And it's not unlynchable, because I sorta gambited with my vote on Unlynchable to test this, staying near the computer and as you can see BBT did not switch votes to unlynchable, which would have been the obvious play if this was the case.

Could PB be scum fakeclaiming?

Everyone's had a chance to CC SK/Vig and no one has. This isn't a realistic option anymore.


Now. PB, I'm going to need you to verify that you in fact did not target me tonight, and that you targeted Unlynchable, before the day is up if possible.

Further, ninja is a possibility in a game with a tracker, and if we're looking at a scum team with both a roleblocker and a ninja, or a bulletproof (unlynchable) and a ninja, PB could in fact be town and vig.

This makes the Unlynchable flip highly informative for town.

Going to real quick explain why I claimed BP:

In the context of my penultimate (next to last) day, I was nearly positive Peacebringer was Ninja SK, and BBT represented the rest of the scumteam.

That's all well and good, but the mafia roleblocker could have roleblocked Peacebringer and taken me out of Lylo, and I really didn't want that because I felt I understood the gamestate better than any living townies.

So, my idea was that I claim BP, ensuring that mafia thinks I'll be alive for the next lynch, then make it super 100% clear I was not voting Peacebringer.

This forces BBT to choose between 3 options:

Shoot me. This (fhpov) might leave me alive for a lylo situation where I'd instalynch someone who is not peacebringer.
Shoot Garmr. This would leave me alive for sure, kill a VT, and leave him in a lylo with me and Peacebringer where I'm tracker confirmed as a no visit and p much guaranteed to lynch him.
Or, Shoot Peacebringer. This leaves Garmr and me both alive as variables where both my vote and garmr's are unclear, albeit I'm towny as fuck after the previous day.

Shooting Peacebringer, the (i thought) SK (real) vigilante allows him to create a wifomy Lylo where he could perhaps either use Garmr's messed up fakeclaim to his advantage, or perhaps push a lynch on me. In other words, the goal was to create a situation where Peacebringer would be shot, because I was pretty sure he was a SK and knew that scum would want him dead either way.

(the above assumes that BBT assumes Peacebringer is gunning for him or not killing, which means that he has to roleblock him.)

Surprised you weren't suspicious of me through after nero did the fake cop claim thing and got town read for it last game and called mvp. I remembered that and how scum fucked up a bit after reviewing it so I did it not caring if it wanderer was town or not because I assumed scum would react.

You never do shit like that unless you're like 99% that they're scum.

I've only fakeclaimed cop in 3 games, all correct, and one literally causing the scumteam to just forfeit.

Don't throw that shit around or you don't get taken seriously as real cop.

Especially unfortunate because Scripten's reaction to it triggered my scumdar onto a player who was generally towny to me after that point.

Some people, faced with plays like that, react with instalynch mentality. It's unfortunate, and it's really the wrong way to play, but it's sort of valid if you consider they're thinking long term in terms of preventing cop fakeclaims.

Your fakeclaim didn't lose us the game, sure, but I'd wager that excluding the fact that it sort of kept me alive, it set town back.

Town you in a similar situation would have reacted equally dismissively but also different at the same time. More "are you retarded for scumreading me" than "lol you think you can rattle me?"
