The act of stating they are withholding info can come as easily from a fake post by scum than a legit post by town, so i don't think so, im of the tendency to think that town should always be open with their thoughts, unless said thoughts benefit scum, and i always abide by this myself.
In post 147, RadiantCowbells wrote:Yeah, but scum don't often make such posts because it draws negative attention.
Town are more likely to deliberately make anti-town actions because they aren't thinking about how they're viewed in the same manner.

I actually think mindsets like this give scum more incentive to do it, but that'd be just jumping into super WIFOMy territory, which im not fond of.
Also I think you're town.
In post 152, Davsto wrote:In post 41, Layla wrote:My vote is 100% serious.

haha
Anyway, Layla confirmed that they were serious with that vote so I would have voted them had 5 more pages not happened since thenwhy are you guys so active.
I sorta skimread it but it ended with everyone townreading each other basically (that's what I saw); the amount of people doing this makes it mainly town, but I haven't seen any complaints about it, which makes me think that there's a (probably no more than singular, if any) scum in it. Usually there's at least one person (often scum) who's gone "woah why are you townreading people so early" to cast doubt on the town bloc because they're scared of townies allying with each other and this hasn't happened so there's a slight chance there may be scum on there.
I am fully aware that by saying this that makes me said town bloc detractor but I don't really care, the point was in my head so I might as well get it out there.
Looking at VeeGee's (lack of) posts, I'm happy with my RVS becoming semi-serious.

100% confirmed Town
Bellaphant - IC + Mason? Geez what did you do with the setup Marquis?
Townread
Ricastle - This is my bank townread. You will not lynch him and I won't let you lynch him.
Davsto - He looks like the typical town doing typical town things.
Looks town right now but not to the point where they just obvtown like they usually do
Luna Fox - Description has been purposely left blank.
Frogger - Description has been purposely left blank.
Bins - Description has been purposely left blank.
Troublesome bunch
Metal Sonic - I never had a good feeling about him this whole game.
RadiantCowbells - He's here but literally not doing anything with subpar "I don't read early" excuse. Last time I played with town RC he was acting nothing like this.
Et Cetera
Not Mafia - Moo.
A Simple Plan - V/LA
VeeGee - Pretty sure this guy is flaking. If he's scum though MS is probably town.
Draynth - Flake candidate #2

This sounds really scummy
is it scummy town or scummy scum, and why?
OK - lunch break
first, I don't know what you mean by scummy town. I voted you because I think what you said is scummy.
Second, the why...two reasons.
1) "have a hard time" changing your read is the lesser of the two evils. I know when I'm town I get super paranoid and change my mind ALL THE TIME, so this is at best confirmation bias or stubbornness, or at worst scum. I've already changed my mind on Layla, and there's a strong change I'll probably change back again. As scum, I'm typically more tunnely. I guess I'm projecting myself onto you, and maybe that's unfair, but I know I'm not the only one who acts that way. Either way, I'm open to changing my read on you based off how you react and continue to play.
2) "giving" someone a town read sounds like it comes from scum, like you need to grant them a townread or something. Scum knows who everyone is in this setup, so it's like you went through the list of townies and said "I'm going to give this one a townread and this one a scum read and this one a null read". As town, usually you just read them, you don't say, "I'm going to give this person x or y read"...that read just develops over time based off what they say and do, and it is what it is. The way you say you are "giving" (or likely not giving in this case) someone a read sounds like the read is forced. Maybe it's just a wording thing, IDK, but that's what I picked up on.
In post 380, Fro99er wrote:In post 377, Layla wrote:What if I say that post was a referring to a finished game?
That could definitely change things. Sounds to me like maybe you fooled town!luna as you!scum in that prior?
