Really? It gave me the opposite reaction.
In post 84, BNL wrote:
I think inattentiveness is scummy. Town are the ones truly scumhunting, so they need to look through all posts carefully. Scum don't have to follow on the game as closely, they just have to defend themselves/push someone.
Wow, about 4-5 hours and we are at 3 pages worth of content. My previous game was much slower than this, and it is harder to read everything.
Are you telling me that you can't think of any time where town didn't put attention into the game? Because I can think of plenty.
Inattentiveness might be antitown but it is definitely not alignment indicative.
In post 91, Fraggernaut wrote:Also in reference to my last post. I'll stand by & wait as someone tries to accuse me (probably scum) of "coaching". * Grabs popcorn *
I am unsure which way this post leans but i'd be interested in knowing what other people think.

I think this game is gonna be interesting.-

I'm not one to use meta, but do you think it would help in this situation
It seems like it would, cause accountant's posting doesn't ring any bells for me-

184 In this post, BNLP asks me why I voted him. On a scale of 1-10 on the "how much do I want to kill you" scale, it would be about a 2. The reason I didn't like 56 is that it seemed to me like you were trying to associate not being proactively town with scum and that makes it a lot easier to mislynch people. 84 seems to lead the same way. I hope I'm making clear how your posts would lead me to make that conclusion.
193 seems alright to me but the case is weak.
198 seems less alright to me but I'm still hesitant to lynch here considering how fast the wagon's grown.
202 I wish this post didnt exist.
216 I wish this post didnt exist.
Hypothetically, if we were to lynch fragger and he did flip town, I would look at Frozen and Bullet as potential scum on that wagon.
249 agree wholeheartedly.
Moving on to the Bullet reads list in the next post.-

bullet, is your read on keyser town because he's asking questions instead of simply commenting on things? Because commenting on things is what scum does in your world. I find it just as easy for scum to ask questions too.
There's no way you're pulling association on blocky this easily. Anyone defending fragger is scum?
You seem to rely on IIOA as a scumread quite a bit but honestly I don't really see the link.
273 a lot of people seem to be townreading Keyser because he's "moving the game along" and "contributing" but I don't see that either because scum can do that too????
In post 281, Fraggernaut wrote:The only credit I give Frozen is noticing that Radiant is probably just a troll. Which is pretty much a true statement.
This sentence rubs me the wrong way.-

I'm asking people with more experience than me right now- what are the drawbacks of holding a lynch back until it gets closer to deadline?
And what are the benefits of quick lynching?
Here are my thoughts.
Pros of quick lynching
Make scum desperate, posssibly urging scum to stick out their neck in an attempt to dodge the wagon
Removes chance for scum to influence the wagon another way
Cons of quick lynching
Less time to scumhunt?-

In post 335, Keyser Söze wrote:Errantparabola, who do you want to quick-lynch?
Why raise this question in here?
That's the thing. I just wanted people to justify why less discussion is good.
I suppose it's different if you have a 100% scum read, but I just can't think that kind of way.

Have you followed up with this? What's your meta-analysis: is "Accountant's antitown=scum pushing" consistent with her town-meta?
I have not followed up with this. No wiki article
In post 344, Frozen Angel wrote:@vedith you caught up yet? :/
@TheFuzzylogic99 why you think you can't be helpful in day 1? as a town member you should try to make new discussions , find the weak points , put some pressure and hunt the scums. Your not a town member then?
Is it just me that thinks these questions are made by someone trying to seem like they're actively engaged in the game?
Frozen, why am I completely null?
I don't like how Keyser is getting universally townread. I personally don't think that he's scum, but I'm not going to write anyone off as 100% town because I'm not someone who trusts my reads that confidently.-

In post 376, Slandaar wrote:RC could be scum. All Alone I need to read his wall but his scumhunting seems down a level from our previous game ie could be scum. Accountant scumish. Angel is town.
Could you explain Angel? And is there anything else about All Alone other than meta that justifies him as scum?-

This implies that he's at least somewhat right that the quote is scummy.
Why is this the case?
You look like you are making excuses for Slandaar to keep him alive.
We can easily grill him on a later day, no?-

In post 534, BNL wrote:I think that Keyser Soze is quite likely town. How he is devoted to the game, and analysing the game as a whole is something a townie will want to do. Also his analyses do seem very well thought out, quite reasonable and original too.
Overall, your scumhunting seems to revolve around "this person seems to be doing good analysis, must be town!"
Is that your scumhunting philosophy?

This is a pro town comment, just saying.
Pro town yes, but it can be said by both town or scum. Thus null, just saying.
Do you honestly believe I would say this as scum? You thought the same thing either the first or second game we played together & it lead to you getting me mislynched as town. I'm going to take this with a grain of salt.
For what it's worth, I honestly believe so.
RADIANT! I feel like I haven't talked with you at all this game.
What's your read on me-

I think flipping All Alone will tell us the most about the game state.
Whats your read on AA?
Or are you simply willing to lynch AA for the wagon analysis info?
646 by bullet is a lot of words without actually saying anything meaningful.
Ill be phoneposting until Tuesday because no wifi in hotel.-

dont think we should lynch in the PR pool.
Acc looks town, especially if there is no counterclaim and we have two deaths tonight.
This game isnt looking too good for town but we should just roll with the punches and atop complaining.
Catching up by phone is hard, so is the pr pool
Bullet
Fragger

Vedith
