Oj that was l-2. And Ik I already voted that is the point of faking a hammer to see people's reactions
And maybe they would scum claim in twilight. *shrug emoticon*
I have been super obsessed with reaction tests lately. But trying to convince people that you hammered when you already voted doesnt work when the mod posts a vote count. ;-;

Are you saying these tests were null-indicative.........

Then how can you "like" them?

It is a factor that can point to scum, but it isnt definite by any means. It is like any other tell.

Yes, activity is good. I want to hear your reads and arguments,
but
if your scum-read/case is based on someone else being uncomfirmed-scum... it loses my interest for D1 :?

If we get a scum-flip, it's a different story.

Can you point to anything scum-indicative that does not rely on
supercool898 being scum
?

Yes I can! I told you, I strongly dislike how Supercool has spent today largely posting speculation that does not reflect whether I am good or evil! It is a convenient mechanism for avoiding commenting while posting more than our friends Diego and Bloodking, who are generating attention through their own absence!

Additionally! His latest reads list is an improvement, but only marginally so!
You are active, therefore you are town.
Dwlee is active, therefore he is town. No one is calling for bji to die, therefore he is town, but there's a trapdoor there. Also from the edit, which I assume is based on the "new post" screen you receive after hitting submit (am I correct?) it took him four hours to assemble that post! Does that feel like a four hour post? To me it does not. That is a long time to spend for a post that contains very little. After speculating on me the entire game, he cannot read me! He forgot what he wanted to write about Neumune, since his speculation stops in the middle! Instead of organic, this appears heavily contrived.

It appears his primary tool for locating evil guys is volume of posts. This is convenient! Post volume is a hard fact that cannot be questioned! If you have not posted much you have a low one! MarioMaker must post more to become even more good! But could not evil use that to simply kill people with low post volumes? Although in any mystery we must inevitably eliminate suspects who do not appear, I am not so quick as to say that those who speak are those who are good and those who do not are those who are evil.

He has rolled over, sat up, and begged on your command! Does his obedience and the results make him good or evil for you?

I do not dislike Golden's death. But killing supercool would to me more likely yield the death of a villain.

Vote: Supercool

Why did no one point out how incorrect that statement is?

RolePlay25 was accusing supercool898 of possessing the following read logic:
High activity/good questions = town
Not being scum read = town
Low content/activity = null/scum-lean

Oh, I'm bad at understanding things.

Bji is town, their read lists are decent.
You are town as I've said.
RC is most likely town (mainly cause of their swaggy reaction test :D)
Roleplay is annoying me. They are mainly null though. Their playstyle just bugs me a lot.
Supercool bothers me because of him finding my "doctor claim" which I don't understand why they are looking for softs like that and revealing it is bad.

That's all I have at the moment. I'm having trouble finding scum, I can hopefully just use PoE or something for that.

By declaring you dont intend to lynch dont you remove any "pressure" your vote carries? I am interested in this because I havent seen anyone ever do this sort of thing but it has happened a butt ton in this game.

In that, I must observe that any information and pressure generated may only be generated through a genuine killing intent.

Perceive, for example, the vote of Ancyon on me. Does it have any killing intent? Indeed it does not. Nor did his vote on Golden. What flavor of pressure does it therefore place on me? Am I in danger? Was Golden in danger? Or are are the words and the wishes of Ancyon as meaningful as the whistling of the wind through the trees, as threatening as the song of a bird?

Golden reacted more strongly to the
suggestion
that I might place a vote upon him than the
reality
of Ancyon's vote. Because Golden knows for a fact that when a gentlemen states his intention, it is not with ulterior motive, it is not deceptive, it is not some meaningless tripe. If I place my vote on Golden, it will be for the single, sole intention to bring about the reality of his death, and I shall labor with every cell in my body to make such a death occur. And if that direction should look for but an instant more likely to yield the death of a villain, then I would discard the thin veneer of civilization and hunt him by day as we are hunted by night.

Are you a gentleman or a knave? I wish your pledge that you slip into a coma and are awakened by the news that sir Bloodking has been selected for death, that your first thought shall be "they have done good in my absence". I wish your word to be matched to your deed. I wish as three more join us, and I hold in that wish the desire for you to share it.

The first and second paragraph ^-^

RVS is a completely different thing Keyser.
My point is more that when you pressure someone with vote you shouldnt declare that you dont want to lynch them. Being unsure doesnt mean you should remove whatever pressure your vote had.

No. If they dont defend themselves we are lynching them.
"...and from your wagon evolved golden009's wagon.

Now, how many of those respective votes had 'intent to kill'?"
That was an Rvs wagon iirc.

The VCA screwed my reaction test because if I hammered then why would the vc right after it not show a hammer? The reactions about my reaction test were something, though, albeit nothing I can do anything with yet.

Pedit: Supercool, not having a problem with =/= liking. Also, what about putting at L-1 for a claim?

I got really emotional when I was bussed in my newbie game because I wasnt able to tell my partner to back the f off and to stop tunnelling me. I was really mad about it. I see some similarities. I think that frozen is always this emotional so I think it may be null-indicactive.

I feel like Acryon's questions to keyser are crap.
Just the "why didnt you answer the question" post after, as keyser said, is a non-question.
I also do not like the "looking bad before flips" thing.

P-edit: Then why didnt you just ask that then, acryon.

Because the way I asked it was more interesting. It gave us a reaction and I was still able to follow up more directly. But I also don't understand how it was a non-question. You don't have to be a genius to read between the lines and understand what I am getting at. This game is all about getting information directly and indirectly through reactions. If I can do both with one question, why wouldn't I?

And for the record, it was Keyser who actually told RC to look at the wagons to develop reads...

Well both of you are wrong about the wagon thing, then.
And I an sticking to my keyser read.

Because your interactions with FA are terrible, Roleplay, and I'm not sure if I want to lynch FA or Acryon.

You going hard onto them and then suddenly siding with them onto acryon makes absolutely no sense.

I already mentioned it, roleplay.
I can't recall your reasons off the top of my head, I just remember them not being particularly convincing.

I don't think it is completely Acryon or FA but it looks like it is our best shot at hitting scum.
Supercool is still on my scum reads but not as much as Acry / FA.

You did not mention them. You mentioned that my vote moved. This is a fact. I mislike those who can do little other than parrot facts.

As for your "scum" read of Supercool, you did not list him as a possible lynch today. Speaking of, when did your scum read of Acryon occur?

When did I make a list of possible lynches today?
And my scum read of acryon occurred when he completely went after bji's theory which tbh is bad before flips but I'm unsure now because you completely flipped your read on FA on its head and started voting acroyn with FA.

Is that so.

?

And no, I don't think they're bussing. I have individual scum reads I am trying to bring into associations. It just seems really awkward that acryon would completely buy bji's theory which I can't wrap my head around being true by itself until your interactions with FA completely turned around.

In post 962, RolePlay25 wrote:Hmmm, actually, you know what, fuck it.

Friend BJI, there is a difference between style and substance. In this sort of mystery, there are very few things that are substance. Discussion of setups? Not substance! Discussion of "how to play mafia"? Not substance! Missives about your life, what you like to be called, the price of tea in china? Not substance! Summaries of the events of the game? Not substance!
Lists of players organized with colors? Not substance!

In fact, there is truly only one thing of substance - a vote. And with that substance, comes the activity surrounding that substance. I say to you, RadiantCowbells has given more substance than Acryon. A naked vote is worth more than five empty paragraphs. One who removes the impact of one's vote has no substance at all.

There is a truism in mafia that you must understand. Good seeks evil. Evil does not seek good, evil knows good! Evil seeks survival!

An emotional breakdown is neutral. It is a reflection of character, of personality! And what does FallenAngel do during that? Does she retreat to survival as an instinct? Does she lash out, seeking to discredit her attacker? Feel the pit looming and throw a vote like a weapon? No. She seeks evil. As votes pile up on her, she seeks evil.

Predators? Predators seek weakness. Cull the weak by day, kill the strong by night. An ancient formula. Wait in the bushes until you see one of the herd struggle, stumble, falter. Then pounce!

Her substance? She seeks evil. The votes upon her? Predatory. My verdict? I mislike killing her. There are most certainly much better choices.

Pfttt lmao

Why are you so eager to line up lynches for tomorrow and the next day? And based off of what evidence? RC's easy-to-see-through farce and my obviously fake claim?

Your interactions with titus. It's absolute garbage if they are scum. I'm lynching the claimed guilty over the claimed cop first for obvious reasons.

Is it? It's what I've been told over and over again by more experienced players. Town lying generally can only create confusion and sow doubt, so town generally doesn't lie. If the outcome of the lie is demonstrably positive for town, then I guess that could be considered a mitigating factor. But I'm failing to see the positive outcome of RC's actions in this game.

Doctor lynched? Check.
Soak up everyone's time Day 2 discussing a fake claim? Check.

pedit: Where does FA claim that?

I quoted it.

Lynch all Liars is an over-generalization. There are so many factors to consider, as you mentioned. RC seems to have gotten something out of the fake claim, it might work out.

Please explain. How does RC's act "make him likely town"?

Do you think that fake claims are in general town behavior?

Have you ever fake claimed as town (and not at L-1, I mean unprompted like that)?

Well first I wasn't thinking properly. I played with scum RC before. He won't risk that attention on himself when he is scum.

no. but their no alignment indicative.

And let me reiterate: I am not a mafia godfather, or a mafia anything. That was my attempt, perhaps ill-conceived, to point out how ridiculous RC's cop claim was. And it was ridiculous, and I think that's obvious; why would a real cop ask that nobody put the supposedly fingered target at L-1? Why would a real cop ask that everyone wait until some "reads" are posted before lynching the target, and so obviously string us along by giving excuses instead of the reads? RC would have already had his reads ready to go if he really was cop and knew he was going to out himself. And why would a real cop out themselves immediately at the beginning of day 2? Such a transparent fake claim.

pedit: I believe town fake claims happen. Your example is evidence of that. But what you describe is very different from what RC did. RC's claim had the chance of getting someone lynched. RC couldn't control whether or not a quicklynch could result from that. So he must have at least been OK with Titus being lynched. Now, if he's not a real cop and doesn't know whether or not Titus is scum, then that's a pretty risky chance to take. And now after the fact he's claiming that he actively didn't want Titus lynched. That's inconsistent. At least pick your top scum read. That seems like the most rational way to do it. And finally, after all of that, what could RC expect the best outcome to be? That some truth would present itself that would help town make the best lynch choice? And that this truth would be crystal clear for town even though it was pulled through the mud of a fake claim and the associated fear and doubt?

These are contradictory.

I actually sorta wanna lynch BJI in spite of myself now.

Calling that contradictory is stretching, rc.

This late in the game, this is all you have? A single post of mine makes you think I'm town, you're sheeping RC on his read of FA (and apparently MM), and you have no opinions on anyone else? You're clearly lurking and just posting enough to make it look like you are not.

Let's all take note that Dwlee doesn't think that 79 pages of content is enough to form his own reads.

Also I'd like a specific opinion on Golden.

I would lynch mario just because of RC's want to but their recent posts seem decently townie and they agree with me on cow and maybe acryon because I'm town reading FA and they want them lynched.

Golden is just null cause they don't have enough posts to actually get a read.

I would lynch mario just because of RC's want to but their recent posts seem decently townie and they agree with me on cow and maybe acryon because I'm town reading FA and they want them lynched.

Golden is just null cause they don't have enough posts to actually get a read.

So you want to lynch Mario because RadiantCowbells wanted to, except you are reassessing that read now and think Mario is town? That sequence of thoughts doesn't seem to add up to somebody you want lynched.

Can you come up with any others?

I trust RC's reads but mm is with me on cow. Everything is kind of conflicting.

This game is just stalling so much because of the lack of a replacement for golden.

Hey dwlee, a couple questions for you:

1) Why are you not voting Mario? You seemed content with sheeping RC earlier, but now you've sort of drifted off of it?

2) You talked about how this game is stalling more than once, yet the majority of your posts seem to be sheeping others and talking about how you're confused. You can be part of the problem or part of the solution. You've talked about how town RP was. What do you think about Aqua so far?

3) Have you actually been trying to scumhunt? If you think so, give me a few examples.

Mario agrees w/ me on cow's slot being scummy af.
I think aqua is really townie. Theor posts feel really genuine and they want to get reads.
Yea I have been scumhunting. I probably should reread or something though so I can refresh my minds on some slots because I am having massive brainfarts rn.

It is not. If we are looking at just the set of people we have with 0 information, then of course it's the same, but this isn't just a statistic game and you know that. You have both done things that are actively anti-town, but your responses in general have been worse and there is less damage if we are wrong about you, so it goes to you.

This is scum. VOTE: Acryon

I really can't see you as town. your reason for this is "WE have no information about others so scum must be between you two" Whats the meaning of scum hunting then?

why my response in general was been worse? why you think lynching someone you say its a probable mis lynch is "less damage" and therefor justified?

if you want to lynch me you need better reasons than those two you already provided. the fact you can't even think about finding scum and just want to lynch between me and RC is another thing I must add to your scum case.

In post 1759, Frozen Angel wrote:- you said its not a static game and you have less information about others so you think one of us must be scum because of that. You said its very very likely.

although I agree with the first part but its not town motivated to just accept that the slots you have more information about are more likly scum. I might be a littel overreacting becuase I know I'm not scum and I'm town reading RC. I don't know.

- But you never provided proof about it. LAL and RP tunnel are your reasons. first is suggesting a policy lynch , second is absurd so you have nothing make me a probable scum lynch.

- No I'm not kidding. your not scum hunting. you never did in this whole damn game. your talking about probabilities and right choices based on the information everyone else brings for you. your distanced and your just assuming things the way you want them too.

In post 1767, Frozen Angel wrote:
In post 1766, acryon wrote:Like I said before FA, I simply can't accept that you softclaimed because you were drunk. If that were true, then it's essentially you playing against your wincon (sober or not) and this game is screwed anyway. So my only choice is to ignore that point on principle, and move forward with what we have, which I believe points to you being scum.

THE FU.. THIS IS POLICY LYNCHING. I really don't care to be lynched today because I screwed it up. BUT I'm concerned why your not calling it a policy lynch.

I DID SOMETHING THAT I'M ASHAMED OF RIGHT NOW. you want to do your shit? do it! I really don't care.

In post 1901, Frozen Angel wrote:I have valid reasons to believe Acryon is scum. He tried to just wagon me in day1 and finish it. He really tried hard to role fish in day 2. REALLY REALLY hard. He really tried to imply one of me and RC are scum just because of the fake claims. and he tried to show there are more reasons.

I won't change my vote today at all. consider it fixed on Acryon.

About you and RP I think I really hate all your ISO when I'm looking at that. Your conspiracy theory about me and RP being scum in day 1 make me think the way Acryon accepted that means your his partner. plus last day you were the shared scum read of all the town firmed dead players. and plus you never even commented about anything Acryon related.

that being said I think your scum

and don't you dare call this omgus ...

You're saying he's scum for role fish ing when IIRC you had already drawn the NK. Trying hard to lynch you isn't scummy, I'm town and I've done that with golden.

that a quiet misrepresention of what happened. I soft claimed something. he pushed for the Claim. the only town reason for that is when you were the town pR who knew it couldn't been a valid claim - which explains RC push.

Acryon couldn't had any valid reason for the things he did in day 2.

He tried to imply that there is surely 1 scum between me and RC - which was a logical fallacy.

In post 1921, Frozen Angel wrote:1 - I wanted the NK. that's something town can't understand. its scum WIFOM. why should a town player wants to think about scums night kill?

2 - :| siriously?! It was obvious his push will end up with a claim. He did that to reach a claim.

3 - I can see the logic of RC lynch. I can't see the logic he used to show there is surly one scum between me and RC. His awkward play day 2 wasn't town aligned. I can't accept that.

Know I'm considering an MM lynch as well.

In post 1967, Frozen Angel wrote:I'm seriously disappointed in this town. all the posts I see are from the ones who I think are probable scums and dweele.

I was reading both Super and Acryon as scums then and yeah I found its very probable to both of them being scum. I just made a mistake about what super was trying to hide. (I said I'm sure your nervous and you have something to hide - like several times)

and I posted my reasons TODAY why are you going back to day 1? he DEFINETLY role fished in day 2. he DEFINITELY just hide behind you to get a lynch done. and he DEFINITELY started to use logical fallacies to show me and RC both scums.

In post 1982, Frozen Angel wrote:I literally don't care about what RC claimed about his results in night. I'm sure his result was titus as vanilla. RC TURNED TO BE A ROLE COP AND HE STARTED LAST DAY PUSHING TITUS. YEAH I'M SURE SCUM THOUGHT TITUS IS SOME PR THING or why should they kill the one who RC was wagoning so hard before his death?

I don't feel to talk about the obvious scum again. you can read his ISO since the start. he tried to stay away from danger. He just wagoned me for no damn reason in day 1 (hiding behind you) He started his day 2 by pushing me and RC to solve town PR's . ITS NOT TOWN MINDSET TO DO THAT. that will only kill town PR's. he tried to justify that by saying things like "one of them must be scum" and "I know your dead at night anyway, so full claim please" It was obvious one of me and RC is not really a town investigator and He wanted to solve that.

Why should he want to solve that?! helping scum? yeah. He is scum.

His last day was I like to vote FA more but yeah RC thing is not bad. He was just ordering mislynches. The fact he didn't pushed me today is another funny things. HE WAS SURE ONE OF ME / RC WAS SCUM LAST DAY. what changed since then?

I'm town and that's scum who tried to organize mislynches.

I dont think them wanting the claim is alignment indicative because that is a matter of opinion. Idk about setting up the "rc or fa is scum" thing.
We dont have your flip though.

I have also been scum reading the cow slot for a while. Mostly gut and stuff that was pinging while I was reading along.

You have? I just remember you walking in like "FROZDN AND DWLEE ARE TOWN" and didnt think about what happened in other days.
