That leaves 2 scum in beeboy, midwaybear, TSE and me. As far as I can tell, Starbuck gave the chain on D2 to a claimed mason, and spring gave it to one of those 4, so let's call midway scum with spring.

I never believe that ever happens unless scum is the one forming said plans or town is misguided and they don't need sabotage (see: sabotaging themselves). I'm not sure if that makes full sense but I see a ton of agreeing and a ton of us nodding our head, but we did that last phase and Titus ended up being town. I'd be more comfortable with all this if we weren't down and it's just uncanny valley seeing things progress the way they are. The best friends claim was perfect due to timing and lack of information. It felt like town was lacking power and there was this agreement that one of spring/me had to be scum, so having best friends didn't interfere with a t/s neighborhood idea. And the timing because it made no sense for scum to claim that given that you guys weren't under pressure, you would've won without the claim probably, you just accelerated what would've ended with a lynch on either spring, midway or spring.

What a fucking disaster. spring's doubts around my slot would've been much less and we would've used the neighborhood far way better than we did, because with all the questioning I started townreading spring but then her actions didn't align with what was happening.

I agree with spring tho, we as town played poorly. My reads were affected by playstyle reasons, thinking that anti town!spring meant scum!spring when in reality anti town is still town. I was thinking "I'd rather lose with town!spring than keep going with this" but that's because of a clash of playstyles and I should've been better than that. Recognizing that Farside and SB were town was good and I could've been the one to unify reads and listen to both sides, but I sided with one and separated the town even further.

Same with midway and TSE: once again, playstyles made me scumread both when in reality TSE was playing his town game back to back, and midway showed town treats on D3 and I never changed my read on him
