What does "Mirror" have to do with anything with what Roden posted?

The Mafia SAMPLE Role PM speaks of a reflexive role that makes a player targeting the scum target themselves instead. The keyword is "reflexive". For Roden he claims his first thought would be PGO 9and apparently Flea also thought it). For me I would have thought Mirror was the "reflexive role" because the player ended up using their ability on themselves which is basically what a Mirror does. Uses the ability directed at them on the player originally using that ability on them.

The reason I would think Mirror over PGO is that the player targeting the PGO should always dies, not target themselves.

I'm on and off, yes (but I will be off after this post). I laid a case, people decided I am likely correct. You made your defense. People are entitled to decide whether they are convinced/satisfied. It's not like I am a 7x voter. I also made cases on both RR and Ircher. If you are town you should be more concerned about analyzing your wagon and deciding who is more likely to be scum sheeping town on town. You asked Nathann if their role was a result of a fusion between Miller and GF. They said they didn't know what the "other" role their pick was fused with is. My problemS: Nathann had already claimed their role. If you thought you can "deduce" the other role from the description you should have been able to do it yourself (to Nathann's role). You did come up with a suggestion even. BUT.. you called him a liar and asserted the Role PM made it clear. Mine doesn't and obviously many others agree theirs don't. So I took it that you were referring to the explicit mention of the other pick which only appears on Scum Role PMs and not the Town's. Furthermore; you declared Nathann a townie for no good reason UNLESS you knew it. Why does a Miller claim make Nathann town? And why did you accuse them of lying? And -if true- why is a townie lying about that specific detail?

Let me reiterate: If you came up with a guess and that's what you meant then why even expect Nathann to know better? Why are you calling them a liar? They described their role and said they didn't know because it wasn't mentioned in their role PM. It thus implies you in fact meant the explicit mention of it and wanted them to confirm the "Godfather" part. Problem is such confirmation only existed in the Scum Role PM. If that's not what you meant then you couldn't have called Nathann a liar to begin with. The why you called them town bit is a bonus.

Now if you're town please don't be impulsive. Please reread this post once more and try to comprehend each word. Once you've fully digested my train of thought then (and only then) please try to respond to my points one by one so that I may also try to see it from your PoV. I did. For a short period I confused Vengeful with Supersaint and thought the hammerer dies thus we were guaranteed to lose a townie there because scum won't hammer.

Then I remembered the difference AND reconsidered the situation. If Roden was truly a Town Vengeful and honestly suspected me he would not have claimed it. The claim now sounds more of am attempt to deter people from voting him rather than a truthful one. Furthermore four people have come forward to confirm the roles they received didn't have their titles fused the way Roden suggested his did, so all things considered Roden did in fact scumslip and everything he did since was an attempt to recover from it including the odd fake claim

In other news, my role is pretty much spent, so I'm okay with dying. Well, I would be if this wasn't potentially limlo. That complicates things.

I think it means Ircher has primed 2 players and will ignite tonight but their death is delayed to the next night. (But don't quote me on anything cuz it seems like my mind is always going places that I misinterpreted my own role, and as a result I can now say I have no guilty on Ircher regardless of whether he was Ascetic or not)

OK, so I was a "Host" which I took to be a Reflexive Neighborizer. The description of my role can be interpreted both ways and I was under the impression a hood would be created

because

someone (or more) targeted me. The hood lasts for a day (the day next to that night I was targeted). On D2 I was in a hood all by myself which can be explained by Andante's flip (at least in my mind it did).

In D3 (today) I also found myself all alone in a new hood, and the only 2 explanations I had were that Dwlee somehow decided to target me of all people or -much more likely- I was targeted by the ASCETIC so my ability didn't affect them.

When Ircher withdrew the Ascetic claim I still couldn't imagine Dwlee targeted me, so I asked the mod and... *Sigh* .. my ability actually creates a hood regardless and then if I am targeted the player(s) are added to it. So I could very well have not been visited by anyone and I still got the hoods (the D2 one was already locked by the end of yesterday)

So, when I thought Ircher visited me I was like "If he was an Investigative he knows I'm town so why would he still include me in his solve? If he was an informative he knows I didn't go anywhere. If he is a protective it doesn't make sense that he protects me and call me scum at the same time", so the only option left is he was a Scum PR himself, and that's the "guilty" I was talking about

Now regardless of that, I still do not feel like Ircher's reaction was one of disbelief or even skepticism, but rather one of scum resigned to the fact they have been caught, but -much to my dismay- I can't say I have anything solid on him anymore.

Almost I'm still not sure how he thought he had a guilty on Ircher. But he seemed to be reassess when he realized his mistake, so I'm not sure I see it as scum motivated. I think he genuinely believed in his Roden push day 1.

I'll try to explain it once again:

My role -as I understand it now- creates a new hood every night regardless. IF I get targeted; the player(s) that targeted me get added to said PT. That PT is activated at the start of the following day and is locked at the end of it (stays open for one playing day.. which is half a cycle).

However, I wrongfully thought that a PT does NOT get created UNLESS I was targeted. (Notice the difference?)

Now at the start of D2 I was in a hood with no one else. I saw Greeting's flip and assumed that was the cause of it. Greeting's ability would count as him targeting me (at least in my mind it does. I'm not quite sure of anything anymore and I didn't ask the mod about this particular details). Anyway, my interpretation was "Greeting's ability counts as targeting me and thus a PT got created because of it but because Greeting was also killed during the night, i,e, before the PT was activated he wasn't added to it." and it really didn't help that the mod actually edited post #0 in it too, so it cemented the idea that the PT was created with Greetings in it and then he was removed due to being killed. Am I clear enough so far??

Now the "guilty". Again, I was still under the impression a PT doesn't get created UNLESS I was targeted, so when a new PT was created at the start of D3 I was thinking someone did target me on N2 too. However, there was NO ONE THERE but me either (and this time post #0 doesn't appear to have been edited either). Then Ircher shows up and lists me as part of his solve still, and I think.. "if Ircher had an investigative role he knows I'm town. If he had an informative role he knows I didn't move. If he was a protective it doesn't make sense for him to protect me AND call me scum." I thus deduced he was none of those. At least not the town version of them. (And no, a Fruit Vendor doesn't count because I didn't receive fruit either, besides WHO THE HELL would pick FV or Visitor on a UPICK??)

So, I thought the combination of it all made it look like Ircher was Scum who visited me to gain some info about my role or block an action I may have had or whatever and they still wanted to push me as scum.

But then he withdrew his Ascetic claim I was puzzled as to why then he wasn't added to the hood. I thus decided to take a deep breath and start the thought process from the very beginning, so I asked the mod about how my role really worked and they explained to me that what I thought was how it did was actually not true, and that a PT gets created regardless of whether I was targeted at that night THEN players get added to it if they did target me.

Does this make any sense to you yet?

In any case, Noraa's gotta be the elimination today. Even with the double flip thing, we know zir true alignment because if we're wrong the game ends, and if we're right it doesn't. And I'm confident enough in zir being scum because of the hard defense on Flea yesterday, until the mechanical impossibility of Flea being Town was explicitly spelled out for zir.

and even borders on lunacy, but there are only 3 possibilities to that:

1- The scum will hammer = Noraa flips red
2- The scum will hammer and I am scum too = Scum win
3- Scum won't hammer their p

What does that mean for the townie that voted with me?
1- Nothing conclusive. I could theoretically still be scum, but the chances of that being the case go very low, so you have a lead going into tomorrow.
