Yes, I do consider an overreaction to be a scumtell in most situations. However, I am going to bet that someone is going to prove me wrong.

By saying "one of the largest" I meant the following. There have been some rather interesting things happening in the game so far such as the miller claims. While certain things are not scumtells by themselves, they may stack up later in the game. These are really just notes for myself for later in the game should I survive.

I currently have no thoughts one way or another about Shadowgirl. She hasn't been suspicious or extremely pro-town in my eyes.


They may make a post later in the game that contradicts their original claim and then we will know they are lying.

Penta is my top by quite a bit at this point, which I thought was actually obvious. Second is SG (replaced Juls) but I feel that there isnt enough to warrent that lynch quite yet, miller claim or not.

I don't see any flavor in my role either. I may or may not be vanilla (even though the vanilla townie role PM lacks flavor), but you can't incriminate someone simply because they claimed there is no flavor in their role.

Unless I myself am misunderstanding populartajo, this seems like a deliberate misinterpretation. It seems to me that pop was just stating that it was interesting that Jul’s private message had no flavor in it. Nowhere it that post did I get the feeling he was trying to use it to scum hunt.

However it seems to me that you yourself are trying to use your Private message to find scum. Maybe again I am misreading, but it appears to me that part of your reason for you vote on him in your fourth post was because of your role’s flavor.

No one is going to waste an investigation on the claimed death miller. That is good reason for scum to claim this role. It gives a wifom explaination for any wasted investigation results against him, so for the rest of the game wifom absorbs that player forcing more complexity in town decisions. I say nip the problem in the bud so you can better focus on other things.

I haven't played with miller before or death millers, so: don't death millers just turn up scum in death, but not in investigation? I'm just looking it up in the wiki, so it sort of seems like it's something else on it's own instead of an extension of it.

I for one do not like someone starting to cast doubt on a role when they are first not voting for the player, and secondly when the role is death miller which is GUARENTEED to flip scum, and will thus net no information.

You are leaving out the fact that at the time I made that post, you appeared to be buying the claim immediately. I see nothing wrong with asking how we know it is a true claim when players are "buying it" without arguement.

I must ask, why have you not shown suspicion against mirth for the same reason as I? If I recall correctly she voted for you for readily believing the claim. I would say that that that casts doubt on a role.

I just like the Penta vote. The entire reasoning for the vote on Juls, which came on page 8, is for the flip out. On top of that it is supposedly the largest scum tell so far in the game. This assessment is made without mentioning any of the other cases that are being pushed at the time.

I really cannot argue with anything here. I was acting rather stupid and voting for a rather silly reason. First of all, I always consider people who try and use things like overreaction (over overdefensive for that matter) scummy. Everyone has emotions, flips out, or just melts down at times. It does not mean that they are scum, from my past games I see town do this a LOT more then scum.

My apologies but as you probably already know, I have not been in as many games as you have so I really cannot use past experience in this game.

I still consider over-reactions to be anti-town in most occasions. Does it really help the town to throw a fit and replace out? No, it does not. Does it help the town to state "I don't care anymore, please lynch me!" and then to self-vote? No.

The rest of the post though seems to say that apart from the Juls situation the only real “scumtells” that have happened are the miller claims. This is another situation of Penta trying to cast some doubt on the miller claims too, which just concerns me since there has yet to be any reason to call them scum for the claim. All the claim has done is warn investigative roles of wrong results

I really don’t know about the sudden move to the SC wagon. While there is some merit to it, the fact that it didn’t happen until there seemed to be some SC hate circulating makes me wary of it. Also the fact that SC was really not even mentioned by Penta before this post, and he heartily had defended that Juls was the scummiest player in the game by quite a bit all make me wary about the case.

Why do you persist on proposing a lynch policy? I understand that at some point it may be best for the town to lynch {name}, but I feel that currently it would be best to lynch another player to gain information. The death of another player would in my opinion give us something to go on for Day 2.

Since I despise walls of text with a passion and I am really not suppose to be using this computer I'll make this as short as possible.


I really do not like the way corporate is playing right now. I have not read his other games so I do not know whether this is how he always acts and judging by the posts here it appears as though he has not yet completed a game so metas a useless. Corporate, "laziness" is never an excuse and we are not allowed to post about ongoing games.

There have been some things brought up that I missed during Day One and I thank the players who brought those issues up.


While it may just have been an innocent comment, Corvuus's post at the end of Day One is still bothering me greatly. I am going to keep a closer eye on Corvuus but I do not think the comment warrants a vote at this time and any case against Corvuus using this as a cornerstone seems weak to me. I will state however that his explanation for said post seems a tad weak.

Populartaco is still within the neutral territory for me, but from the way he has been playing so far I am becoming more inclined to think he is town.

I find it extremely difficult to believe that Electron would neglect to notice the fact that the deadline was mere minutes away. However, I will let this pass without much discussion as I can see no way that scum could benefit from attempting to lie that they did not post near the deadline.

I saw his/her? post about how I seem to attack one target then quietly move on as if nothing happened.
