I actually DID vote in that game. Not only that, but I voted someone who IS in this game. I was very embarrassed.I came really, really close to posting in Mini 175, "No townie" mafia, thinking it was this game.
All, I'm away until Sunday, probably Monday. Apologies for my quietness during this time.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

I think reacting to a second voteisover-reacting, but then I've noticed that people always do that when there's nothing else to go on. And face it - there's not much to go on.
Which is kind of weird in a game where no-one is a basic townie - you'd think there'd be more information than normal floating about?Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Yeah I was half being ironic.
I don't believe anything kwyjibo says any more. Even when he says he's scum I usually still expect him to be lying. My post, though, wasn't in response to his confession.
I'm still bitter because he had me totally fooled in our last game together.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

I can't see that there's much for brushhopper to say. If there's any flavor behind his role, I'd like to hear it, but not at the expense of giving anything else away that could jeopardize his position.
I agree with SquareKnight in that I don't see why having a post restriction is likely to make him more likely to be scum.
There's not much to choose between anyone. However, leading a lynch mob on a post-restricted person is bad form, if not scummy.vote: SeolEeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

If brushopper's restriction lasts only for today, then let's ride it out.
If he still looks scummy to you tomorrow, when he has a full chance to defend himself, then we should lynch then.
I don't understand why you're on a witch-hunt, but I prefer my vote on you than to brushhopper.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

BlueSin: I disagree completely. Town has lots of things to say that they don't want to say in front of Mafia. I suspect we all have little snippets of information and a mason group would be a real boon to the town.
Assassin is obviously telling the truth about his role. Otherwise Seol will just come back tomorrow and tell us he was lying. I also find it hard to believe that it's a mafia role.
Assassin:
1) Can your friends talk to each other?
2) Seol's a decent choice. Still not quite sure about his alignment. However, if he's pro-town, he's a savvy player who won't give too much away to scums. If he's mafia, then it's possible you'll pick up additional clues about this from his nightposts.

Sorry to keep pestering you, Assassin, about your role but:
1) Can your friends talk to each other, or only to you?
2) Is this still the case if you are lynched/killed?
And... I also reckon you should stick to recruiting confirmed innocents if possible. That way, even if you turn out to be a cult recruiter, we can just win as cult instead of winning as town
And SquareKnight, don't forget that it would be four scum tonight, but potentially five, six etc on successive nights. That certainly looks like it would constitute game imbalance.
Also, I think I'm comfortable upgrading my FOS to avote: BlueSin. I can't imagine why of all this town, Assassin still seems the best lynch to you.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

I think we should be careful we're not blowing Mr Stoofer's crimes out of proportion. If I'm honest, he's one of the people I'd consider voting for - but it'd be more from lack of evidence on anyone else as much as anything. I think most of Thesp's points are valid, but none of them is anything resembling hard evidence.
I want to hear more from Brushhopper now that we have a chance to properly read him - and Icertainlywant to hear more from kwyjibo. We've had a startlingly small amount of content from him so far.
One question about the Happy Friends Club - is it likely there'd be a cult in a game this small? And does anyone have anything in their role that gives any evidence that there could be one? And should we discuss who'd be a good addition to the HFC today - or just leave it to Assassin's judgment?
Okay that was three questions. So sue me.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Just to clarify - when I asked the question about the idea of a cult - it wasn't a request for information, but more an invitation to Stoofer (look at it in the context of the previous post) to question the likelihood of it. If I'd aimed the question directly at Stoofer, as was intended, it would have looked less ambiguous.
On record - I am *not* attempting to sow seeds of doubt against Assassin, whom I believe to be the closest thing to a confirmed innocent in the town. Frankly, I'm amazed he survived the night.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Stoofer: I don't think your vote on MoS is any evidence towards your towniedom. Like Seol said, if you're mafia, it's be a fine tactic to vote someone who's clearly miles from a lynch in order to look better later. If you're town, it was a lucky guess. Having said that, while I don't think the case for the defence is very good, I also don't think that the case for the prosecution is much stronger. Not strong enough for a vote until we've heard from kwyjibo, at least.
In other news, if kwyjibo can confirm your innocence, does that mean you can confirm his?
Assassin: I think it's a little unfair to say that I haven't contributed to the game! My FoS on kwyjibo was not based upon that one post. The fact is that he's posted very infrequently, yet appears immediately to post after being voted. Nothing he's said has shed any light on anything - he's lurking, and that's not good.Eeny. Meeny. For what it's worth, I'd like to say that I disagree with the mass claim idea.
However,
I am the snooping townie. Every night I pick somebody's house and I can tell the comings and goings.
Night 1 - Assassin stayed home.
Night 2 - Thesp went out.
Both can confirm that I speak the truth in respect to them. Additionally, I know that nobody targeted either of them, at least not in their homes. And those of you with night choices will be able to confirm that.
I'm skeptical about Speedy's claim. Kung Fu townie? I'm willing to take the knockout punch to confirm him, but I think we'd be better off with a confirmed innocent taking it. I think he's gambling that nobody will want to take a punch to confirm.
Brushhopper - a claim, if you will?Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

With Speedy's role confirmed, I think it's a certainty that Seol is lying, merely by process of elimination. There has to be at least 2 scum left, and Seol and Thesp are the only two with no supporting evidence to their claims.
Thesp looks like the SK, so we should avoid killing him today, since it means kwyjibo needs to get a result tonight if we're going to see tomorrow.
If Thesp is pro-town, I think we should discuss how, if at all, he is going to use his night ability. In fact, if he's scum, we should definitely discuss it, because it'll put him in a trickier position overnight.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

I guess I asked for that. Is there any way I can confirm my role overnight?SpeedyKQ wrote: In the very outside chance that he is telling the truth, I'd say his best kill choice is dybeck, whose role has not been confirmed at all.
We should note also that Assassin has only had his role confirmed by Seol, since Stoofer died before he would have been able to confirm.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Yeah I do too for what it's worth. In fact, I'd deem very few people on this site capable of executing something like that so cleverly. Seol is, however, one of those I'd include on the list.
It's not exactly a problem, because since both kwyjibo and Speedy are confirmed, inviting either of those will clear it up once and for all.
we should make sure that all this day-action type business is executed before we go to night.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Town were unlucky to lose BlueSin - to also lose mathcam was really bad.
On the face of it, it doesn't look mafia-slanted. Essentially, three investigative roles, but since many of the pro-town roles are verifiable, the three protection roles are probably more important (I'm counting kwyjibo, mr stoofer and brushhopper).
However, mafia did take it with a day-kill to spare - don't know that game setup is to blame for that though - just the way it turned out i think.
I was going to say that I thought brushhopper's role was overpowered, but being able to use it only twice seems like it'd balance it up quite nicely.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-
