Do have a question to start off though. Should we put the operation of the treestump in the public domain and have a side unofficial vote on it? OR do we think scum would have too much influence in that type of decision so as to make it unlikely it would end up being a townie?

Finding it very hard to tell the difference between landmine being overly wordy because he wants to or because he doesn't want to be readable. I'm happy to hinge that DGB is a likely partner to him because it's something she'd tell someone to do, but relation tell day one yada, yada, yada. Happy to get behind a wagon though to see if the style falls apart under threat of lynch.

On to page 4.

Ald's vote on MSSK was terrible and very hard to believe to be a vote made by town. Very reactionary and voting for something that isn't even scummy.

As of the end of page 8, I'm going to call NS and Jake to stop arguing, there are more people int he game, and no matter how good your think your reads are, you might be wrong so shutup and tell me what the rest of the game is making you think.

Ald and MSSK can go in the same boat kinda.

Vote: Baldeagle

Now this guy, he can eat some rope for the terrible posting for the sake of posting. And makes an opportunistic vote (In the sense that wiki says it means scum so people might come with) on a vote that was not opportunistic, which frankly tells me that bald really doesn't want to be seen, only heard. A stance scum very much need.

Jake, there are some things I really dislike and cases that are entirely meta based are one of them. I will accept if you find something that is independently scummy, run after it and bring in meta to support as minor extra scumpoints. That is fine. But going hey, they do this as such and such is absolutely terrible. Some people will deliberately scumtell as town so people metaread their bad play as town. And vice versa. I do not want to hear a case based on pure meta. Nor is meta an argument to save someone either.

You are the only cleared person. Ask everyone the difficult questions, get down people's necks. You don't need to suspect them, but you can ask them anyway.

Also your logic is kinda eh there, insubstantial posting has never been a tell either way.

@MSSK: Outside of the two mentioned in the quoted post who do you think are the two scummiest people and why?
@PI: Why do you feel the lack of posting line is being taken? Scum driven or town driven or get the game into gear driven?

I think the idea is to get a group of towns and go have a party on various wagons. Not PoE the whole game day 1.
Which I'm cool with, actually interested to see it, I haven't played with NS yet.

I feel like I'm going to be reading Ald scum all game regardless of anything he does. I feel a playstyle issue will come up if I pursue that.
Mac, NS, join my wagon. Actually Jake too. I'd love to see you work with Mac to get a read down. If one of you is scum, you're welcome to bus to make it happen. Super town creds for both of you.

It's actually a pretty rational case. I am trying to be steadily aggressive and he talks about motivation from a scum POV, which is good hunting.

He's sitting in the null pool. I don't want to see him lynched today. I'd like to see the play in relation to flips, I feel the verbose-ness is going to be telling later.

Makes a little push on his preferred wagon to keep it in people's minds but it does it lightly so he has very little commitment to answering for his suspicion. That's all well and good Jake. But what red flags. You've already denied that the read list contributed to the read, you haven't given any indication of other 'red flags'. I'd love to be able to wagon with a town read, but when he isn't giving me anything to roll with, that's pretty difficult. Work with me here.

@Ald Anti-town =/= scummy. That said I will have a read of him as well. Most of that stuff happened from before I came in which I read all at the same time, so I'll have another look.

Just went back over your iso, and nothing. Look I'm not accusing you of being scum. I' not saying that your vote is in the wrong place, I even indicated not long ago I'd actually be happy to join. If you'd just clarify your read. Because from where I am sitting, Dolittle is the same as any other lurker. And if I were to go after one of them, it'd be DGB at this point because she's reading badly.

As for the question, I don't have a town read on Dolittle. Apart from a weak null lean from banter, which doesn't mean much.

1. Not really because...
2. ...I wasn't opposed to you starting one, I was opposed to the fact that you weren't voting for any sort of reasoning different to other players.
3. Because her reads are bad, she's not being aggressive, but she is doing her backhanded passive aggressive which isn't good. Also, her vote on Dolittle was terrible in both timing and
execution. I still think bald is more likely scum, but I want to see where this goes. More than one scum in a game.

Well this game just got exactly what it needed. You both going to be paying close attention or one more than the other?

As for the major wagons at the moment. I can get behind SSK, town would want to try and get suspicion off them instead of trying to lurk and get it to wane. I want DGB and bald gone as well. I don't see Dolittle scum atm, but then again, I barely see him as town either.

DGB is better. Because of three reasons of increasing importance.

1. DGB is reading badly. Which is weird. (Fallacy but still)
2. She has rather good interactions with hard to read people such and landmine. Which means her lynch has lots of info.
3. Sheis always a good lynch because she's dgb.

Well for starters I'd like you to answer some incredibly simple questions I asked a while ago and then reposted for you after you asked for them.

Once you've done that I'd like you to give me a rundown of why Dolittle is better than SSK or any other lurkslot up to the point where he started trollposting at his wagon. It'd also be nice to hear why NS is town with
reasons
.

Thanks.

Yes.

1. You pointed out quite explicitly that if SSK is scum, Ald is where we should go. I challenged that view. Oh look who opened this discussion you're refusing to acknowledge.
2. Well then it wasn't very indicative of me being town which doesn't really go with saying that your favorite lynch becoming a town read like you said it did. Either you are lying about a town read which serves no purpose. Or, and Occams razor says this is the answer, that you are scum and want an out for now that I've lost suspicion and your easy misslynch target is now a liability.

Can I get a wagon over here?

One of the questions I asked that I quoted twice was prefaced with my belief that PI makes more sense as an SSK partner from their interactions earlier in the day, which I picked up on during me read on replacement.

Because she is just as good a scum candidate at this point and carries the additional value of being severely toxic to town's operation if she is town. At worst it's a policy lynch. At best we lynch scum and have a wealth of information.

Dolittle seems like lynchbait. Doesn't mean he isn't scum. But does mean the longer we draw out his flip, the more info we get. He won't get to endgame, that's pretty clear.

And SSK is a solid target, who I will endorse, but only if DGB isn't going to get off the ground.

Actually because of his activity drop, he's lowered the value of his lynch. And DGB is toxic because a scum vote is more useful to town than no vote.

Actually, this is not textbook DGB town play at all. DGB is aggressive as town and tries to push through her scumreads, often bumping heads with several players. DGB in this game is reserved, almost disconnected from what is going on. I'm seeing a lot of indecisiveness in regards to her reads, and she isn't pushing for her scum reads as hard as I'd expect. In fact, she almost seems to be leaving her options open.
In post 582, Landmind wrote: Esp really wants to be liked and seems to spend a lot of his time being quietly desperate.
I'm not seeing this at all. Why are all your reads backward and fake?

In post 505, Espeonage wrote:DGB is better. Because of three reasons of increasing importance.

1. DGB is reading badly. Which is weird. (Fallacy but still)
2. She has rather good interactions with hard to read people such and landmine. Which means her lynch has lots of info.
3. Sheis always a good lynch because she's dgb.
And there's the avoidance, and the self vote. And don't give me that self voting is null. It is a scum action because it takes information away from town. Especially when done by someone of DGB's stature.

DGB is like the two of them combined.

They are just in a prime position.

They might not be alive, only morph and neighbour know. I am asking for a scum read. But if their neighbour is scummy and they want to lynch their neighbour then they'd call them out anyway.

Morph's being silent so it's entirely fine.

If they thought their neighbour was scummy it'd be out by now so my question has been answered in it's entirety.

To add to the landmind thing. What has struck me the worst is that the verboseness and language is specifically used to make them get away with whatever they say, because no one can be arsed to go through and comb their posts, which is alot easier for the rest of the playerlist who are spitting short insults at each other.

It's a tactic, I think I remembered it because DGB got a partner of hers to do it in some game. But anyway, it's basically a way of making yourself nigh untouchable during the middle of a game, because people are always going to stick you further down their targets list because you are a hard lynch to get done because there is so much work involved in it. And then when you do get to it, town gets bogged down by all the syntax that gets argued over.

It's a bit of a weird tell, but for a hydra to be posting like that, definitely comes across as deliberate, and that can only come from a scum mindset of messing with the town.

By the way, you can take DGB off my list of three and stick bald or someone there, idk.

Ok, let me phrase it differently. Are you not seeing a disparity between normally dense language and deliberate careful wording to avoid being cased by iso? If not, would you kindly point out how the slot is being a helpful contributor to the town, with two heads and numerous people asking for a change in posting style that has been ignored.

1. Why aren't you able to post independently from each other and keep the game moving?
2. If you are so akin to one another with all of your reads, surely you know each other's stances enough to take them into consideration before posting.
3. The little side comments from the other head just proves that you guys are crafting every post before you post it which basically proves why DGB's ideas on your activity have a scum minded approach, and basically prove that my case is correct in principal.
4. If you really cared to help the town, you'd switch main poster if you know that you have a tendency to post in this manner. But sadly you aren't which I can only assume means that you feel you can only survive if you go through this method you're currently using.
5. And I don't want to hear the real life excuses of one having a screwed keyboard. Get the bloody other head to make decisions.

You are exhibiting basically every tactic there is to make a hydra untouchable by town. You create false situations because of restrictions on a single head. You are deliberately constructing posts instead of actually posting like a normal slot. And you are quite clearly scared of this line of inquiry as evidenced by the incredibly contrived AtE about how your slot was being read previously.

Newsflash, reads change, and you have some serious work to do to get out of my preferred lynch for today.

Of course I'm trying to shape town opinion. I'm trying to get my reads lynched. And ok, we can talk about them and I can go deeper which also gives you a chance to find stuff to make me easier to lynch, or we can leave this at the stalemate and we go along the same path we have while you wait for finalised read lists. (Which to be honest is getting to a stagnation point that is only being lived with because town is relying on you to perform and weave magic now that you've promised.)

Right, and I can make some sort of defense against this how? Some definitive wording there, am I scummy in my own right? And if I am to get lynched over this, I reserve the right to policy lynch anyone that ever uses the word meta after this game is over.

Is this why you made that thread Cabd? Couldn't wait until the game was fucking over? Was fishing for experienced players to help you deal with my slot?

Sorry to inform you that Sen won't be receiving any sort of disciplinary action once this game ends.

Stopped paying attention once the mods got into it.

What else did you expect. I come in to an almost fresh slot, I expect to be taken on my own merit, not some stupid meta argument. You know how I feel about that.

Because I come in expecting to be taken on my own merit. AND Cabd knows exactly how I feel about meta arguments. And I know how he feels about meta arguments, so if it were true I would fully expect him to never let go of the idea of my lynch. And that in no way seemed fair to me.

Would you not get upset if you are going to get mislynched because of meta you know won't hold up. Tbh, I took consolation in the fact that if I was going to be lynched for that, I'd prove him wrong and be able to hold it above his head forever.

I take two days off all non near deadline mafia games and literally nothing has happened. A+ peeps.

Yo Cabd, taking it I failed your test seeing as you aren't calling anyone off me? Think that'd be good info to give the town, no?

NS, who was 893 about? I can't find context for it?

Not like I can claim...

Reads, fair good with Goodnight, Landmind is so scum it hurts. DGB is pretty town but should not be allowed near endgame. PI make sense as GF, but that's all I've got there. Incredibly solid null on Ald. Jake seems town. Bald's probs scum, NS is probs town.

I would love to post, but I don't want to tread the line on something the mod might have strong feelings with.

I also don't allow post death posting, namely because it is exploitable.

I think making Scum unrecruitable, but having town unrecruitables with possibly more players would make the neighbourhood safer and more dynamic because of a larger game without breaking it if someone doesn't enter it.
