High School: The Best Years of Your Life.
Yeah right. Welcome to Hell, AKA ‘Generic High School’…

There are two groups in this school – The cool and the not. You’re either in or you’re out. To be ‘Uncool’ is to not exist in the minds of your peers.

Well, that’s not entirely true - there is one other group, which until now has not been a major player in the halls of Generic High School. Those that choose for one reason or other not to be cool. The geeks, the nerds, the AV Club, the Chess Club.

To date, these losers have chosen to remain anonymous, melting into the shadows of inconspicuousness. Keeping off the radar by lurking in the dark recesses of the places that the cool cliques never go and are barely aware of. Not worth noticing because they are not a threat, those that will one day rule the world have been literally ignored by the cool and the hip.

Now however those at the bottom of the popularity food chain are fighting back.

RULES: (All original and developed entirely by me – vIQleS.)

All standard mafiascum rules apply, with the addition of the following:

* Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
* Please "unvote", if necessary, before casting a new vote.
* A lynch will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, nothing will stop the inevitable.
* You may "vote: no lynch". Majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without one.
* The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
* Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts.
* Don’t directly quote any PMs from the Mod.
* If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. If you fail to get your choice in, none will be made.
* If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment to 12 others. If you feel you must be replaced for whatever reason, please notify the Mod.
* Remember that this is a game, intended to be enjoyable for everyone. I hope you play to win, without giving in to name-calling or general meanness.
* To spite what your teachers are telling you these days – grammar and spelling count. Please think of those that have to read your posts.
* When you are dead, please die quietly. Do not post information during twilight or after your death.
* The Mod reserves the right to alter or amend in part or in whole any or all of the above rules without notice.

Public safety announcement:

0100 hrs under the influence of vast quantities of Coke(tm) is not a good time to decide to delete all of the partitions on one's C: drive without pausing to do a backup of one's documents directory.

(The loss of all the setup and game documents and spreadsheets should not affect this current game as all the information is somewhere in my vast and wonderous brain. However there may be minor delays and slight inconsistancies as the aforementioned material is reconstructed).

Confirmation deadline to be introduced later today. (At a less ungodly hour).

Yeah - I did think about doing that - especially if I get stuck. I should also be able to check my sent items... (hopefully)

However, in the mean time, the game will be proceeding as normal and without delay...

At night you may choose someone and beat the stuffing out of him or her. Everyone will assume they are totally uncool and they will be eliminated from the ‘game’ that is high school life.

Gossip Chick - Cop - Yaw
You are the cool chick with all the goss. Every night you can choose one player to investigate – you will get all the juicy tidbits, which you will no doubt want to pass on to everyone else as soon as possible. MOD NOTE: Each night will get either cool or uncool. Will also get a random piece of gossip that is unrelated to the game.

Sidekick - Backup D&C - Jaguar
Sidekick: You have no real identity of your own. Your only security comes from those that you hang around… At the moment you are leaching off the coolness of your ‘friends’. Pray that that does not change.
MOD NOTE: Backup Doc and Cop. If the cop or doc dies the sidekick will take on the roles and duties. If the sidekick is already doc and the cop dies then the sidekick becomes cop and loses doc abilities. (And vice versa)

Musician - Recruit - BadAndie
Musician:Angry and angst-ridden, your only outlet is your music. You are cool, but only just.
MOD NOTE: Recruit for the mafia. If targeted has a 50% chance of becoming mafia. Will read as cool until recruited.

This was the highlight of the game for me actually... I just about wet myself laughing when the numbers assigned PBuG the role of head cheerleader...

I was also wondering if Talitha winning the role of GF was a bit too much of an advantage to the scum... They had the recruit (badandie), but the town had a backup cop and doc...

I was hoping that the gossip would have generated a bit more comment (it was intended for the cop to post, and make the game a bit more interesting...). I was waiting to see you all ripping them to shreds looking for hidden messages...
