also my logic isn't that just being a Psychic makes you conftown; it's that there wouldn't be more than 1 Psychic on the scum team, since NM didn't understand how the role worked, and thus that any remaining Psychic would be conftown.

That makes sense, I didn't think of that. I was wondering why formerfish thought I was lying because I didn't see a clear benefit from trying to claim that. But also, it's not like my psychic is the exact same as nm's flipped psychic move. So maybe there are different types of psychic which makes it viable to have more than 1 on the scum team? Does that make sense?

Never, I never tried to use an ability I didn't have. I forgot my role after N1, and I didn't use it N2. If I had used it N2 I probably would have accidentally used the wrong name, and (probably) the mod would have said something. I looked up bus driver right now on the wiki and it says it a predominantly town role, but it's not exactly that cus it only has to do with one target and the other person doesn't matter in the equation.

Your role makes no sense the way you've put it forth so far. So you target one person and change who they target that night with any actions but you have no control over who the target changes to? Imagine you are town, who redirects the nk, theoretically you could redirect it onto yourself by accident?

Sorry, I guess my explanation wasn't that good. According to the wiki, a bus driver switches person x and y so that if an action is performed on x it happens on y instead and vice versa. My role would be getting person x to use their action on another of my choosing, person y. Any action that happens on person x or y or whatever person y does, does not matter unless it's some sort of ability block I guess. I didn't ask but I guess theoretically I could get person x to redirect their action onto me, and if it was a nk, I would die. Or I guess, redirect a scum nk to kill another scum instead (that seems to have a pretty low chance of happening tho)

There were times I felt like former might be scum based on his aggressive interaction w flames. And he said he was so sure I was scum but looked like he was willing to drop it pretty easily when it seemed like others weren't going to join. Felt weird, but could also be town minded.

He started being all active lurky like he was in this game in our last few games. So I couldn't get a handle on his alignment because it could have went either way. Under normal circumstances I would probably agree to lynch him more readily. Another thing to note is that he replaced out of the Persona 3 FES mafia game after a while of being active lurky like here (the game was going on at the same time as this one for a while). He was town there. That might mean something? Well he replaced out here too, but it was after the whole hiatus thing, and way after his other replace out.

there's a few ways I can think of your action would have failed without you getting blocked. to name one off the top of my head, commutifier. I used Psychic last night, so it doesn't have anything to do with my role.

I was thinking since I redirected tiershift -> pieguyn, that would mean tiershift wouldn't be scum. Unless something happened like a delayer or some other ability, which would mean he still could be scum. During the night I was deliberating on who could be scum and I had narrowed it down to {tiershift, pieguyn}.

@tiershift, During night phase I read through everyone's isos and looked at the vote counts and determined that scum must be in {tiershift, pieguyn}. Took me a while to decide if I should go tiershift -> pieguyn or vice versa. bert and flames' votes of vettrock didn't feel like bussing and I doubted that formerfish took away his own vote. A little doubtful of boonskiies now but most of my read of boonskiies came from how I though wisdom played like town that grew more and more apathetic.

Also, the mod said my target's factional kills are redirected. All abilities done by my target are redirected, so unless something bizarre happened with other people's abilities interfering that means tiershift couldn't have done the NK. Thoughts?

It's all abilities that user X uses. So say I target user X during night phase, everything they do is redirected onto the person Y that I chose. Make sense?
Also, if I'm understanding correctly, you think tiershift is ascetic?

During night 2, didn't you think your ability was psychic? Why didn't you use that again?

At that point I was thinking either you or pie were scum so I wanted to keep the redirect to one of you guys.
I thought my ability was named psychic, but I still knew what it did. Thought that the different descriptions of psychic were ability connectors. So, didn't want to waste my ability since I didn't have anyone I was convinced was scum like on N1 and N3.

I was hoping that my redirect actually did something useful so I refrained from saying anything in the beginning of the day (my target isn't told that they were redirected so I hoped something good would come of it)
But turns out that was probably a bad move

thinking tiershift should get lynched (probably tomorrow?) so everyone can be sure of his ability description, role madness etc etc. Also, whoever ends up getting NK-ed will be a good indicator too.

Lynch tier today then, so tier if you're town and you're lying about your role in anyway, half truths or whatever, fess up now.
I was thinking the NK would narrow down the suspects. Then, provided tiershift's role info is completely correct and pie is marked to die (get knocked out whatever), then that narrows it down to {me, boonskiies, flames, bert} minus the NK
And meh I guess the way I type looks nervous, since the only time I was nervous in the game was when I got my role wrong.

And Seo, it doesn't matter since pie says natirasha in past games gives sole scum the ability to perform multiple actions in one night
