Some thoughts:

Mainez doesn't think that Venmar is genuine. She can't read Venmar, and would prefer someone with more expertise with him to read him; the last game I had with Venmar was Xenosaga which was more than a year ago, so stale meta. I believe that Venmar's #333 is dodgy and a little bit sly. #338 is attempting to increase conversation, but may be used to seem like he's contributing... actually hypocritical. I think his frustration is fake.

We both do not like Stabulous. Mainez feels that his posts don't make much sense, and are bad. I agree. I went to look at his meta, and he was in a newbie game with players such as Nacho + Pieguy + Marquis all as town. He managed to be townread by all of them, wow. Unfortunately, he was locked in an unwinnable endgame, so he forfeited as scum. It's difficult to pattern match, and I'm lazy, but we both feel that he could be scum here.

Mainez pointed out that lalaladucks is not playing to her town meta; she is not scumhunting and is generally messing around... characteristic of scum. She's more engaged in her towngames and is able to shoot down entire scumtams like a boss duck. I agree with the point, but since it's so early in the game, it's not actually a scumtell. But we'll be keeping an eye on her.

Mainez is uncertain about Albert. She doesn't like his policy lynch business, seems like a way to detract from real scumhunting, but since I have experience with him, I'd say he's town here. For now.

I'm down with policy lynching ika. Fuck you, ika.

All gladiators I've seen on this site have been town. If you want to challenge my point, show me a scum gladiator.

Next, lala used her PR is a pro town manner. It's WIFOM to think of it for towncred, but Stab is also one of my scumreads, so I'm fine with that.

If any of you bothered to check the newbie game that Stab played, he was Scum, and managed to fool Nacho, Pieguy, and Marquis that he was town. Nacho hence nommed him for rising star, but I counternommed with laladucks.

Lastly, Stab has yet to full claim. So, I think he's so much as 'twilight trolling' at this point.


However, I agree with bins above that we can wait a bit before bringing the lynch down. There's still time.

I can. It's very meta based, because McMenno is scummy as fuck as town but when he is scum he is /obvious scum/. I understand if you find him scummy, and are suspicious of my read, because he isn't scum hunting or whatever, but he joined recently like you and is a much weaker player.

Yes, Stab is now the player of whom I'm most suspicious. For partners, I'm thinking perhaps House and/or Bulge. I wouldn't rule any of them out, though.
My logic on House is that Stab was calling House a "liar" but then reading him as "genuine" which seems a strange read. If Stab is Mafia, that means that he didn't want to lynch House, but I don't see any reason for that if Stab is Mafia and House is Town, because it doesn't especially seem that House was any more difficult to lynch than any of the other players or that House was especially likely to be deceived by Stab's arguments. Also, as I mentioned in my earlier list of reads, I think that the switching of votes between Stab and Ducks was off.
My logic on Bulge is that he implicitly reads Stab as Town here:

Pretty awful move for Day 1 Now we don't get an analyzable wagon tomorrow. This could screw us over long-term.

He leaves out the other important condition: if Stab is lying, then Ducks is either Town that made an excellent move or Mafia that guaranteed a Mafia lynch for Town credit. There's no reason that the move by Ducks is detrimental to Town unless Stab is Town, so this vote really requires a substantial justification that Stab is indeed Town.
Actually, the more that I think about it, the more suspicious this vote is. That's true whether Stab is Town or Mafia.
