you've expressed a lot of thoughts along the lines of "this game is hard, setup is solid", etc, but now that you're asking farside who to lynch i don't really know where you stand anymore and i feel all abandoned and chilly without knowing what's going through my #1's head, you know?

The Ank end of the interaction where he has Vedith in his town reads and then later says he's going to look at him makes sense: Vedith had been doing the equivalent of jack shit at that point and I think that's when I or someone else first started to look at him. Vedith's pushes are weak because he's basically just not doing anything at all except go "I'm town! When you mislynch me, don't fuck up tomorrow!" which is weirdly enough something that I am reading as town so yeah I totally buy that read.

For what it's worth, Ank's assertion that "I'm looking into Farside and Vedith tomorrow" somehow wasn't equivalent to a scumread (why would you want to look into them if you didn't think they were good possibilities of being scum?" doesn't really make sense.

Vedith, I am sorry for my part in your lynch, but a terrible lynch is better than a no lynch in this specific case.

I'm also immensely unhappy with hiplop's play this day and will likely be pursuing that tomorrow as well.

2) Killing means risking getting caught by you/hiplop and outright losing. Not killing means a damn good chance at a mislynch AND they can kill much more freely tomorrow since you can't catch me and if hiplop catches them they can 1v1. I voted massive with the deadline reasoning because the no N1 action when he would have had to make the kill if scum seemed suspicious to me. I had doubts Vedith was scum because of the tone he had near deadline.

You claim who you target before you lynch, and any actions with a successful kill confirms everyone who actioned as town. It doesn't matter if we lose one town; we have two mislynches if we go from 6 to 4 or 5 to 3.

the boon a no kill has is that ank actually gets to have utility and scum won't be able to kill and not give a shit about a 1v1
if you mislynch me and you miss blocking farside and hiplop tracks ank to you, they will 1v1
if that scenario happens after a no lynch, they will 1v1 while we have 2 lynches left meaning we win

If scum are forced to kill at 6 players, we get 2 clears when they do (davesto + hiplop clear), and ank gets a useful investigation. When we lynch at 6 players, if hiplop catches scum we don't automatically win and ank will get 0 useful results.
