Case against Sir Bastion, this is the slot that bothers me the most, and the wagons right now don't really sit well with me.

Complaining about noise without trying to break through it, thing about forum mafia is that it is impossible to stop someone from posting their thoughts by continuing to talk. You can't fillibuster the way you can in face to face to keep people from making their reads known, or shut them down with a joke or an insult. Just post what you think and move on, no need to whine.

I had thought that nonesense talk usually ends around the first VC, but beardedcat's response makes me feel like there has been a big shift in the meta since I was last playing Mafia, and I'm sitting here looking at napkins with a quizzical look on my face.

Not a good place to start day 1.

If I was the rate the noise level based not onwho was being noisy by interaction (quipping back and forth) but who is being noisy for the sake of being noisy (quipping away with little actual back and forth jumping topic to topic) I'd say Metal Sonic is at the top of the list. But I dont know if thats cause their avatar just make them naturally sound noisier because I imagine a high pitched anime dub with every sentence

More complaining about hydrae and a nonsense case about MS's avatar, what even is he trying to do? Seems like a lot of words to say, "hey look at me being active and scumhunting" without providing anything substantive. Also the "screw it" pings me as scummy.

Look at me I'm helpful townie who read the last game. I think it's actually misdirection aimed at distracting town with setup spec instead of scumhunting, and asking for a genderclaim seems like looking for PRs because he is scummy.

next question I have is with a no limit gender cop already confirmed does this power feel like a town power or a scum power to you BC?

i think the gender cop is town because they flipped town.

if you mean the vote thief it seems like a scum role because it seems like a transparent way to attack the noisiest slots who were throwing their weight around the most yesterday: CotW and us.

Setup spec isn't either of our specialities, so I don't know if gender cop makes vote thief more or less likely to be a town role.

What do you think of my case on Sir Bastion? I think he fits your criteria. We need to consolidate a wagon soon. Deadline coming up.

Ari has a lot of the same problems as Bastion today but from the beginning of the game, they might just be quiet in general. Bastion is only quiet now after being fairly active telling people to shut up the first day. Ari could be scum but I don't have as strong of a read.

Spiffeh seems fairly town to me. I like he's pushing for a wagon today and he has similar problems with people role speculating instead of scumhunting that I do.

I'm still more comfortable with a Bastion lynch, not sure I buy the gender logic and his actions, which I think are more important, have been scummy until right before deadline. So my vote is staying there.

I don't like how Tony voted for someone but then said he'd be fine with two other wagons, scum just happy it's not him?

Spiffeh was around close to deadline and Bastion was one of the wagons, and he never did get back to me on this.

This is the beginning of Spiffeh creating chaos at the end of the day. He was pushing for any and every lynch, he didn't really discriminate. I thought it was scummy because I felt it was more about looking pro-town than being pro-town.

Sir Bastion I don't think that logic holds up.

Bastion only gets called out once here and doesn't get voted for, could be Spiffeh distancing himself without bussing unless he has to? This is the other reason Spiffeh pinged me. I think he was trying to get the heat off of Bastion (who I still scumread) with his posts at the end of day 1.

Just because I haven't been around most of the day people just conveniently disregard everything I fucking did yesterday that got them to previously town read me and it's ridiculous.

Whining about why he wasn't being townread anymore. What's the point of this? I don't think town should care if they are being read as town, just that they help town win. He also naked voted for Bellaphant and asked others to join him without a real case that I saw.

Today's interaction with BC convinces me that one of the two (three? haha) of them is scum. I don't think that is TvT or an elaborate scum pantomime. So I'll be looking into BC next to see if I'm off on my townread of them.
