Oh gosh.
Well the reason is that he knows his own alignment more than others, but only if he is town.
The myopia is not pro-town necessarily, but it still indicates a town alignment.-

Actually I like your reads a lot, I just think you might be scum because you spent some time casting dispersions on ppl who're probably town (e.g., Ircher shortly after replacing Davsto). It read like you were trying to reduce an [accurate] group town read secondary to the replacement, but I think my attitude toward him was like "whatever we don't have to mess with this puzzle as much now."
I mean tbh I don't want to lynch you at all tho because at least you're postin and it's not bullshit.-

FireAssassin or Gorkilord, likely not both.
I think that's the only scum among the active players. I went back and forth on NotMafia as I read, pretty sure I ended up on town because of a particular post that I can't recall IIRC. That's the only other active player I significantly entertained whom I didn't mention I think.-

Radja had the silly part where he asked a super active on-the-record player (gorkilord) about his feelings about random players. That's the main thing that made me feel goofy about them.-

I am interested in what makes you say I am dishonest. Cause if anything I pride myself in my honesty sir. And you have insulted my integrity.
Because you make posts that that have WORDS, implying depth and content. But then it's vapid, so I feel cheated whenever I read the posts. :[
But you do have a kinda fun sense of style in your posts so at least they aren't boring to read.
But that's the meaning of "dishonest." Contrasted against someone who just openly makes pithy content, for example.-

You are just swinging everywhere.....that makes me a little worried to be honest.
Why does it have to be in the active players? That seems very flimsy...
Because my post literally said "this is the active player that is scum."
He said "why did you not say titus/radja" and i said "well they are not active players so natch not in consideration."
I do not have a crystal ball that gives me insight into players who didn't make content.
I'm voting daniel because I don't think D1 needs to end yet because my heart is in the 120 page D1s of yesteryear.-

I thought androgybee's slot was town when I read the game. I did vacillate like town->scum->town as I read through it tho so I at times thought scum. But I ended on town. But I vacillated so I didn't want to get excited about it. Also I didn't start posting as I read until farther along.-

The posts where he called Davsto town, explained clearly why it was the case, and refocused/emphasized it when people tried to discredit it (rather than just dropping it to keep the townpoints without cementing a town perspective on the slot).-

You're not funny. You're not coy. You're not original. You're not even helpful. You're just being a fucking annoying whiney brat. Christ all fucking mighty please stop being so dumb.
You're wrong btw we're town and there was nothing even remotely scummy about posts you're trying to throw shade at so try again, freakin lamer. Or at the very least use your fucking words instead of being a total brat and just making disapproving noises.
~Nahdia
Like this posts emotions seem genuine, but I can see scum feeling that way just as easily as town.
For me it's more that there's no reason to point out how obvtownDavsto is if no one else has noticed yet, unless you think he thought it was SO OBVIOUS that SOMEONE would point it out and he wanted to get ahead of the free towncred.
I don't know the player so that kind of information might also color how it should be interpreted.-

I don't think that it's a scum plan to call Davsto town. That seems dumb. Securing accurate townreads just makes solving the game less complicated.-

But scum have to call a few players town.....they can't just doubt cast everyone or they will appear suspicious by doing so. Protecting one player also doesn't mean you can't change your read on them later.....
I myself am unsure of that slot in particular, but willing to not lynch that today based on their reactions to my posts.
There's a difference between saying "Davsto is a pretty town dude Davsto vote 4 me" and saying "Davsto is incontrovertibly town due to XYZ barring scumBrilliance or a nightmarish accident."-

Not really, no? This is weird hand wavy crap. Is it you?
I think imagining that someone did something contrary to their wincon because of low competence should only be entertained when it's absolutely necessary for other things to make sense.
I think it's impossible to get a handle on the game otherwise.
That's where I'm coming from me.
From my POV, your idea that it's a dumb scum slot is itself handwavy because it ignores that pointing out secure townreads is a pro-town thing. (That is, that's the very point of the thing that you criticized as hand-wavy )-

Roshar wrote:@Iecerint's, so you think Gorke's probably scum from the active players, and that makes you think Fire is scummy b/c he's Gorke's wagon? Is that it?
Fire is just really vapid. Sometimes that can happen if someone doesn't know how to fabricate content when they are scum.
I actually didn't realize that Gorke was an architect of the Fire wagon until after I noticed that Fire was kinda vapid and checked out his wagon status as I was reading. I had already independently found Gorke uncomfortable, mainly because it seemed like he was discrediting town players (scummy for the same reason I thought androgyne was town).
I doubt they're both scum. At least one of them is town probably.-

The sequence of events was:
1. Thinking Gorke is scummy
2. Thinking Fire is scummy
3. Assessing Fire's wagon upon learning it exists
4. Realizing that Gorke did the Fire wagon
The only town read the Gorke stuff came from was Ircher, as noted above.-
