Okay so here's what's up.

Here's a list of the people who purportedly discovered my main.

Travelling Salesman (Who spent a long time trying to figure this out before the game even started.)
Adenine (Who knew because I specifically revealed to him when I figured out he was town.)

Which is funny Ranger's not on that list despite being the #1 person most likely to figure out that I was an RC alt short of Fire Assassin.
Yet Ranger claimed to believe that I'm Titus. And instead suggested that Meseeks is an RC alt?

First off, Davsto is pretty fucking obviously not me. Second of all, how the fuck does Ranger not figure me out?

So here's what I'm pretty sure happened.

Fire Assassin knew I was SheldonCooper because I told him. He rolled scum and told his scumpartners.
That explains Meseeks pulling out specifically quotes by me to defend himself which I townread at the time but now feels dirty and manipulative as fuck.
That also explains how ChilledTea figured it out even though ChilledTea has played like 5 games with me and there's no other reasoning.

When Ranger replaced in, she saw that her slot was pretending not to know and continued playing it up, and to make an excuse for why she wouldn't notice she pretended she thought her predecessor was me and said that I was Titus.

And Titus isn't even a terrible pick, but what are the chances that she randomly happens to pick that is in my signature randomly? Are there any actual similarities between my play and Tituses? I understand that Cakez came to that conclusion at one point but that was because of the Cakey thing and the townbeard thing. THIS WASN'T AVAILABLE AT THE POINT RANGER WAS CLAIMING TO BE IN THE GAME, SO WHY DOES RANGER NOT RECOGNIZE ME AND WHY DOES SHE THINK THAT I'M TITUS. THERE'S LITERALLY NO WAY THAT THIS IS TOWN.

And for the love of annie fucking hastur we disagree on virtually all of our reads. we have NEVER been this discordant in reads when we were both town, ever.

Scumteam is Ranger/Chilled/Fire Assassin. We're lynching Ranger first so that she doesn't talk her way out of it.

Adenine is a strong scum player in general but has a number of player specific quirks to his scumgame that I can spot a mile away and I've seen none of them here.
I've been wrong about him exactly once and that was a game where I actually intended to vote him until the other townie pissed me off. He is not getting lynched this game.

Here was why Cabd was scum for the macho claim by the way.
I am the only protective role in a game with macho modifiers which basically confirms me as town.
But if both of the macho claims were town that's a 3 person confirm town pool at massclaim.
Cabd's macho claim felt really panicky and rushed and I feel like he's either scum macho or just fakeclaimed it to try to grab on to the towncred for the claim.

Which is why I think Java's probably town and the real macho of the game (because of the doublevote) whereas Cabd having it doesn't really make sense?

I mean I seriously doubt Kuroi's scum over you cakez but it doesn't matter because I'm lynching you in endgame for the vengeshot anyway.

2015 me had some sort of ridiculous extreme attacks on other players in virtually every game as scum.

The point is that towns in general are terrible at sorting genuine AtE from fake. Posturing and AtEing in extreme ways is the best way to win as scum right now because it always gets you townread. always.
I've still lost very few games as scum but all of them have had a point where I deliberately decided I was tired of making games personal and would rather lose than win in an unpleasant way.

The town did not do a good enough job of making themselves look town here and that's what cost us
I don't think any of the scum played particularly well really, they were all on the table for lynching at various points

I maintain my belief that ChilledTea's scumread on me was circumstantial, fleeting, bad, and that he would likely scumread me a lot as town and be equally sure.

Town lost because Adenine was figuring out the game but wasn't active or influential enough to get anything done even though he was scumreading at least 2 of us literally throughout the entire game but couldn't get anything done. Or in other words, town lost because the best townie was drowned out by the loudest one.

Also I was setup spec confirmed town and was deliberately playing scummy because I wanted to do my super AtE and get my claim out in the right way. I don't think I could have actually been lynched barring a surprise quickhammer. I thought my Sheldon Cooper fakeclaim was so good as well because everything could be justified.

Sticky: Sheldon has this ADD thing where he has to keep doing things like eating the same meals and drinking the same pajamas, targeting same person, etc.
Jailkeeper: I trap people into roommate agreements which keeps them safe in the room for the night but prevents them from acting.
Voyeur: Sheldon has a PHD and is well experienced in science and is able to determine the roles that visit his target.

Yes, and he was loud and influential and his scumreads got lynched. Adenine's scumreads didn't get lynched and he was slotted as scum and ignored the entire game.

I'm not saying it's Plotinus's fault, per se, I'm just saying that I'm just noticing a trend of the game coming down to the loudest, most influential, and most manipulative people, not necessarily the best people . I claim that I am a member of both categories, but what would I know (And since that varies from game to game not blaming anyone: just a thought)

Basically, I have a big theory post planned for MD at some point. Here's the crux of it.

1) Policy lynches need to be a thing. Not the kind of policy lynches that are currently considered policy lynches: policy lynches for entirely different reasons. More on this later. Very strict, metagame reason policy lynches.
2) People need to stop relying heavily on associative tells. Bussing is a thing and as time has gone on it has become more and more of a thing. Should not be townread.
3) Whether or not someone is trending correct should be a serious consideration in how much weight to give their reads.
