Whattiair you say that?

The murdercock speaks to me in my dreams and in its fevered whispers it pointed out that with me being town, the odds of five other town players voting me on page one are pretty low. No, at least one is a scared child, trying to fit into a man's game.

The murdercock, you see, slides into my mind perpendicularly and I'm reminded that only I can heal myself of its influence, only I can slake its thirst with blood, only I can protect the murdercock for all else is sacrilege.

Nah, it's not a statistical statement, it's an ironic statement~

Cakez or Tripod? I kind of lean UT, but it's early in the day
of the five, snake is the most town for my money at the moment.

i was thinking cakez, but not sure after his recent interactions

tripod has given us jackshit to work with since then, and even if he's scum he can just fall back on "I TOLD YOU I WAS GONNA TRY TO LYNCH HIM" etc, RVS stage is random, etc. still need to watch him.

Dunno about Parama, my eyes are glazing over with this farside interaction, it's like they're speaking moon language

Aristo could be scum, but I can't read him for shit because he's too fucking cheerful so I'll hold off there. he's like the fucking anti-me.

as for you, (though you didn't vote) even if you're scum, i won't figure it out day 1.

as you say, it's still early. lotta people left to check in still too.

See this shit. This shit is scumfuck. Like "responsibility for your actions"? What the fuck does that mean? Remember my old signature - "Victory requires no explanation, defeat allows none"? Town fucking Kuribo would take a double vote any day of the week and use it to ram more pain down the neckhole of any scumfuck dumb enough to fuck with him. This is some pussy ass terrified Kuribo who wants Eager Snake to be responsible for who we lynch today. I don't give a flying fuck if DrMyShotty gets credit for today's lynch, I want a fucking scumlynch, and you want to diddle yourself over whose responsible for a mislynched.

Fucking die in a fire you scumfuck

Oh fuck you, I've never ever advocated proxy voting in any of its forms

It's not pussy bullshit to expect someone to be held accountable for their fucking actions

And furthermore he wasn't even offering a proxy vote to me in the first place, so how the fuck would it be an extra vote for me

Aristophanes - I don't like how he buddies people and all cheerful and shit, but I fell into that trap last time I played with him and scum-read him for what it turns out is a playstyle difference, so I'll go null here.
curiouskarmadog- I /inned for this game reaaaaaaaaaaaally wanting CKD to be scum, so I'm biased, but I hate the fact I'm kinda leaning town here. I disagree about Parama and farside being "theater" though. "Theater" doesn't happen nearly as often as people seem to think it does. And if it's theater, it's pretty fucking boring theater.
eagerSnake- Despite what was said earlier I ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY EXPLAINED WHY I WAS TOWNREADING SNAKE. He went after a "hard to lynch" target when he didn't have to. He's active, he's engaging even when he isn't under fire. I could be wrong about eager, but I don't think I am.
farside22- I'll lump her and Parama together for now because I haven't done more than skim their stuff. I'd be a bit surprised if it's town v. town. I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally don't want to fucking read through that shit though.
Gear- Who? It's scum, and if it wants to change that maybe it should fucking do something.
GreyICE- Miss me with your bullshit, grey, like, for real. Need I remind you that every fucking time you ever called me scum, YOU were scum? YOU personally have picked up very recent bans for behavior and you KNOW for a fact from the last few games I played that i'm trying like a motherfucker to not be so hostile so as to avoid getting the same sort of bans. If you want to walk around with your pants on your fucking head this game, that's your business, but--- and this is a PERSONAL statement, not even game related: don't fucking bait me into both of us getting banned. That doesn't help the town to drag these poor bastards through thirty pages of you and me telling each other to eat shit. So save it, for real. Oh, his alignment? Lean town, he seems engaged, hostility isn't a tell for him, etc etc, I can't read Grey for shit and if he's scum, I won't figure it out until at least Day 2 if I'm alive.
kraska77- calls my content hollow, ignores Gears and Snowman's even more anemic content, surrrrre sounds legit. Null-to-scum just because I feel like being a dick about it.
Parama- See farside
RachMarie- Much like Aristo, friendliness is a style matter for her. Hasn't posted enough yet, so still null, but I'm not sure I'd recognize her scum game.
SirCakez- Calling Eager scum for meta reasons, ew, but voting CKD, almost feels like he wants to push the Eager wagon without REAAALLLY pushing it. I don't know. There are hits and pieces of decent townplay here but something is rubbing me the wrong way. Null-to-scum.
SnarkySnowman- Such a non-entity, I'll consider him the designated lurking scum
Untrod Tripod- Pretty much just fucking around, what I expect from a fellow Trouser God on Day 1. Honestly I'm more used to UT being my moderator or my hydra partner. I'm annoyed that he hasn't tried to reach out to me this game. Null.

I try to be fucking nicer to people in games because all I hear is how I make games Fucking miserable for people by screaming and cursing at them

And God Fucking knows I actually enjoy playing a lot more when I'm not all pissed off

Then I gotta deal with grey ice's bullshit every fucking game I'm in with him

Now you, whose posts are so fucking devoid of logic that I really don't know if I give a shit about your alignment anyway

You want a fucking hard claim? Just pucker up and ask, none of this tee hee soft claim fishing shit

And yeah I'll be hostile since apparently when I'm nice I have to listen to grey call me a timid pussy or whatever and watch you make derpy leaps in logic every fucking time I post

In post 419, GreyICE wrote:Honestly Kuribo, was I scum with you in a couple of games? Yes. I think every game we played together before this one I drew scum. Was this some nefarious plot of mine? No. I don't like playing scum, I genuinely dislike it, but I play it out because that's how mafia works and if I replace out, don't fight my lynch or don't push lynches on townies as scum I am violating the spirit of the game. But more to the point it's
not my fucking plot
okay? I don't message the mods and go "yo man, I'll slip you $20 through PayPal if you make me a scumbutt". It's the role I drew those games and if you're seriously angry over that rather than playing it up, fuck you. You're better than that.

I'll give you your space, for fucks sake I was giving you space. I also am stating my read on you, and yeah, it was scum and frankly its still more than a little towards scum. It's insanely demoralizing to open the thread as scum and realize there's a stupid 5 vote RVS wagon on you. It feels bad. I've been there and it felt way worse than it did when I was town and I don't quite grasp the psychology behind it, but I know what I know.

My vote is parked on Farside and I like it there.

@Gear:
The nature of the lie is irrelevant. The
choice
to lie is everything. In point of fact the lie being about non-game related things is MORE damning. Townies might, for whatever deluded reason, talk themselves into lying about the gamestate for strategic purposes.

That's the difference between you and me

You actually LIKE being town. Being scum wasn't what made me quit Mafia, it was being town and dealing with endlessly stupid tunnels with shit arguments

And if you think five RVS votes would rattle me as scum you really don't know anything

I can see in the future here you're gonna keep pushing bullshit until I fucking snap and we both get banned or I'm gonna end up replacing out

Because when I try to be civil I get called a pussy or timid or whatever

Can last scum standing act and kill the same night?

You said you were roleblocked, correct?

But there's no need for scum to roleblocked you and kill you the same night since killing you shuts you up from posting results

But there's also no need to kill you if they can roleblocked you instead

Are you absolutely 100% sure you were roleblocked?

I feel farside is the scummier of her and parama

so if farside IS town, there is probably one scum on it right?

what is the point of this post?

it developed fast, do you disagree?
My point is that, yeah it developed relatively quickly but that's more of a factor whenever there's more than one scum to "pile on." It makes me concerned that you're already trying to discredit it because a "scum pile on" is almost certainly not possible at the moment.

If farside is town, I'd guess the last scum is on the wagon, (or waiting to hammer?)but the speed of the wagon is pretty irrelevant. In fact it is almost the most literally irrelevant thing possible about the wagon at this point, so speculation about wagon speed is pretty damn pointless.

That's the point of my post.

lemme tell you about one of my pet peeves as town

and it's a pet peeve because i've used it to my advantage as scum so many times

but i really REALLY fucking hate it when people behave as if they can do whatever they want just because they think they're confirmed town

and i've seen too many towns crash and fucking burn because some King Shit refused to listen to other peoples' opinions just because they were being universally townread

because, guess what? Sometimes universal townreads are fucking scum, and other times their reads are bullshit and they lead towns over cliffs

UT - tell me why you think farside is scum, thus voting her.
farisde - tell me why you didnt claim.
farside - what makes you think parama claimed JK
rach - do fucking something, you are on the worthless side of this game.
Explained.
Just felt like it was a soft claim and I missed some of the back and forth dialog.
Plus he asked if scum could do both a PR and kill, it reads like he is ready to try to fake claim at this point.
proposing a theory is just that, a theory.
and I want to know the answer because it helps us make sense of night actions better but I guess mod isn't gonna answer.
But there's considerable harm in proposing half-Ass theories.

That was more regarding The Whole "SK INSTEAD OF VIG" speculation, thought that was what the bit about "proposing a theory" meant until I re-read it.

I'd suggest mass claim at this point except the vig absolutely shouldn't claim if he has shots left, plus the tracker is claimed. The scum RB won't claim, obviously, so I don't know what good it would do my sanity to watch six people claim VT

That's not the issue, you can have more than one scum read with one scum left

What farside did was ask along the lines of why someone wasn't voting someone, which usually implies they're buddies. That's the weird part.

grey called me scum

i was on both lynches

i have a history of bussing

UT's a shell of his former self. The last time he played with me, me him and T-Bone were in a hydra together.

UT posted hardly at all and read even less. The first day, I was disallowed by the moderator from posting for the remainder of the day. Then the second day (or near the end of the first) T-Bone was disallowed from posting for the remainder of the game or communicating with UT and I because someone had spoiled him. UT did not pick up the slack in any notable way, despite both of his hydra partners not being allowed to post.
