In comparison to Shadowrun where you very quickly started doing things to help town and were really obvtown in the process this just feels like early game you were sitting back and blending in more with the mechanics talk if that makes sense? I liked you prodding iron about massclaiming but I think that was a relatively easy post for you to have made as scum too.

This is a pretty big overreaction. Does your FOS have even a 50% chance of being mafia? If you're town, there's 9 other town and 3 mafia. I wouldn't be so eager to jump into giving us something that's likely a double mislynch. Saying this just makes me want to lynch you hoping you're mafia and then subsequently discard your FoS if you flip town, and that's not the thought you want to inspire in anyone.[quote="InIn post 357, ironstove wrote:I'm not, but I want to see frozen lynched and if me flipping town proves my fos isn't scum motivated then maybe you guys will listen. Can you expound on this? Why would you risk burning out at least 1 and possibly 2 MLs just to get your scumread lynched "after you flip town" when your scumread isn't even certain? It's d1, and there was already a wagon on your scumread, and there are 3 mafia.<Embrace The Void>

Anyway, Drealmerz, you claim I was talking about a Vigilante and came to the conclusion that I was worried one might exist. As pointed out, it's true that I really do not want a Vig to exist in this game purely because I hate Vig as a role (as shown by my quotes in Mini Theme 1801, but also in other games like Open 644). Besides, if scum were worried about Vig purely because it could kill them and not because they hate the role, they would point this out in the Daychat rather than here.
Also, there wasn't much to talk about. At that point setup spec that didn't reveal any information to scum was better content than RVS.
I dislike Drealmerz' push on me but I am inclined to read it as only very weak scum for now.<Embrace The Void>

Scum don't think about posting? Scum have daychat in this game. If they want to talk about something they know to be scummy, that is the most likely place for them to post it. In my experience, scum are less excited and more afraid of dropping scumtells, whereas Town ae more likely to just want to get their information across regardless of its scumminess. I just thought for a moment about what the setup would be like and also read rules etc. carefully. In the Sample PM, it states "None of the above applies to dark magic" so I reasoned from there. Because I read very carefully and think about what this could mean, I occasionally appear to know more than the average Townie. In post 524, BTD6_maker wrote:

Even so, if I formed such a dastardly plan, I would have probably announced it in sign ups.
Whats your read on Sondam?
Sondam: please tell me, in detail, why you are so very obvious town.
Bad post. Answering a question directed at our slot while avoid a more in depth question directed at theirs.<Embrace The Void>

I've been called scum for forgetting my past reads but this is like the opposite error. You assume scum would try to keep track of this. I can see why but it's still a fallacy. In post 232, Fire Assassin wrote:I am pretty sure scum are more hyper vigilant on knowing who is voting who than town are, as a rule of thumb.<Embrace The Void>

Never noticed the flavor bit in this VC before. Interesting. In post 292, Nahdia wrote:Though there are those who hold them in esteem, the reputation of the Nyx Family is permanently blackened by them being credited with the first usage of dark magic.

When spells are "compulsory and must use first opportunity" how does that work for something like a hated spell? Does that mean by end of day they give to another player? No comment on both counts. I won't publicly answer questions relating to abilities, whether present in the game or not, unless those abilities are public.<Embrace The Void>
