The game can get pretty intense, and I tolerate a lot of intensity because I don't want to intervene, and I don't want to interfere if your posting style is part of a strategy. That said, keep it reasonable. Anything beyond the pale will result in a warning, and future instances may result in a replacement. "X is beyond the pale" is a vague predicate; it has an uncountably infinite number of valid truth-values. Ultimately, I decide what is sufficiently beyond the pale to merit action.
Once a person receives the necessary votes to be lynched, he's lynched. Further votes or unvotes mean nothing.
If you don't post at least once every 48 hours, I will send you a prod. If you do not respond to the prod within 24 hours, you may be replaced. You may post a reason why you will be absent in the thread. I will not vouch for you, so don't bother explaining to me why you are absent; I will not tell the other players your reason. You might as well do it yourself, and they can believe or disbelieve you.
Don't post after you die. I don't think you can edit on Mafiascum, but if you can, don't. You'll be modkilled and make me angry.
Oh, I guess one "BAH!" post is traditional, so you can make such a post as long as you reveal no information and don't discuss the game. One post, though. Then you really are dead.
If you need to be replaced, let me know as soon as you can. In my experience, replacements are really hard to find, so please, if you don't think you can devote time to this, get out early. When the game is 50 pages long, it's even harder to replace someone.

Nights will last 48 hours. If your action isn't in by the deadline (which I will post when night starts), you don't get the action/I will randomly choose an action for you. Consult your role PM to see which of those defaults applies. Days will not have deadlines until I see activity waning and a good reason to impose a deadline.
