The Burn Book changed North Shore forever. Sure, it turned the girls into animals and the school into a jungle. And it hurled nasty accusations against teachers, some of which were totally false (Ms. Norbury and her marijuana tablets) and others which were extremely true (Coach Carr and his innumerable underaged hookups). It showed that students like Cady Heron could still do the right thing and make amends. But, most importantly, the fallout seemed to break the tension that had been building up over the years among all the catty, bitchy girls and the obnoxious, sleazy guys (plus the faculty, of course, especially those

personally

victimized by Regina George). So, when the storm subsided, the Plastics disbanded, and summer mellowed out the social scene, everyone returned to school expecting a quiet and uneventful school year. The Cafeteria could finally be like in middle school, when everyone could get along and eat cakes filled with rainbows and smiles. Then the

Burn Blog

appeared. No one knows where it came from. No one knows who operates it. But it seems that North Shore is yet again plagued with some meanies, and these ones have adapted to the intricacies of the digital age. Now the school community is intent on rooting out the culprits and restoring serenity and kindness to North Shore. And what better venue than the formerly divided cafeteria to make a stand against further meanness and division?

, and you are finally done with high school and chilling at Northwestern. No more high school drama for you, although you were happy to see peace at North Shore before you left, especially between Cady and Regina. But you have heard rumblings about the newly-created

Burn Blog

, and are somewhat concerned. Although you are no longer in a student a North Shore, you feel some sense of moral obligation to help maintain the peace. You and the other students and faculty of North Shore High are trying desperately to track down the authors of the awful Burn Blog. You win the high school popularity game when all the mean bitches (scum) have been ostracized from the cafeteria and there is at least one nice person (town) still able to show his or her face.

The students

filtered slowly into the lunchroom and to their accustomed seats. But an oppressive malaise suffocated the cafeteria. The words

Burn Blog

kept buzzing through the air, and the students glanced suspiciously at each other. The Art Freaks started ripping at their baloney threateningly while the Cool Asians ominously inspected their sharp nails. It was only a matter of time before the school would be more out of control than it had been after the Burn Book had been made public. And no one wanted another mandatory after-school assembly, so something had to be done. The students started mingling and coming together, creating a disorganized and heterogeneous mob out of the previous rigid organization, the likes of which had not been seen since the last Spring Fling. It was time to take a stand against meanness, even if that meant disregarding the social divisions. The teachers in the cafeteria noticed the change as well. "Why not join the movement?" they thought. After all, the faculty of North Shore had been devastated by all the turmoil as well.

Thus began the valiant effort of the North Shore community to expose and cast out as social pariahs those spiteful bitches who run the Burn Blog...
