The great Benjamin Franklin made this comment over 250 years ago. Is it still relevant today? It is up to you to determine. Remember however, he also said

Sell not virtue to purchase wealth, nor Liberty to purchase power.

The reporter looked glum, it seemed today would not be another standard News cycle of sports and weather.

"I'm sorry to bring such news so early in the day, but it seems that the war on terrorism has been lost. Yesterday, as you know, Sydney Central Train Station was bombed and razed to the ground, leaving hundreds dead. The cities evacuation today was carried out and the Police and Military reestablished elsewhere. The Sydney Harbour Bridge was bombed later in the day, killing several more late evacuees and the rubble proceeded to destroy the tunnel, killing none, but sealing it off.

Military helicopters are deployed elsewhere, in the hunt for the main Terrorist Mob, making the rescue of the twelve remaining citizens holed up in the villa housing within the Marriott Hotel impossible. Rescue could take several days, and there are fears that the terrorists are among them.

With a *crackle* of such grand *crackle* the authorities are suggesting as many as *static* could be within the group and rescue would be *crackle* with that possibility *bzzzzt* more informati- *crack*"

With that, the television drops out. It seems there will be no more communication until the military arrives, and even then, you can interpret from the shaky broadcast that they would be unwilling to take all of you, with the risk of bringing a terrorist back so high.

They will be conducting their own investigation, but it could take over a week...and will any of you be alive by then?

Votes must be in bold.

If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.

Please be attentive and unvote,

if necessary, before casting a new vote. It will not count otherwise.

Lynching will require a simple majority of votes.

Once a player has reached the necessary majority, their pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. Feel free to post and pm in twilight, though.
[04] You may vote: no lynch. Majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.

Days will last 3 weeks long max. You have one (1) extension of 1 week. If you want the extension: PM me.

If I impose a day deadline the player with the most votes will be lynched (this includes no lynch). In case of a tie, first come, first served. In case of an endgame (six players or fewer) only simply majority lynches will occur.

Do not discuss this game outside the thread unless your role states it.

No-one may post in the thread when I declare it night (In case I don't lock it).

Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing.

Not even a “Bah!” post. Just, just stop. Fingers off the keys. You're no longer breathing. Save it for after the game is over.
