Greetings!

I'm going to do my best to read through everything by the deadline, but if anyone wants to link me back to posts or passages they think are particularly important or telling I would definitely appreciate it.

this is a cool new tag!

I'm still reading day one. This game is dense. I need the cliff notes. When did DGB become suspicious of Yos? Why are people voting sotty?

I'm doing my best to power through at least all of day one in time to make a semi informed decision by deadline (if these people would stop distracting me with Settlers of Catan) but as far as I am right now I can already say I don't want to lynch sotty today.

Trying to keep up with the current events in this game while also trying to read through the earlier parts of it is like trying to hit a moving target. Anyway..

Vote: DGB

Scumteam: DGB, Yos, chamber, and IDK yet (probably four scum left, yes?)

Townreads: ABR, VitR, Poro, sotty, mathcam

@ABR, I think DGB is manipulating you into being the loudest voice for a sotty lynch

I'm still reading D1 (right now in fact, as I tab back and forth between trying to keep reading and keeping up with current posts) and late day one DGB is materializing every time a threat to LML appears to push the attention elsewhere, while early D1 DGB (before the site crash) was happy to reasonlessly sit on the LML wagon and rep it as a real vote. That's a scumbuddy.

Anyone else who has tried analyzing this list in light of LML's scumflip please link me back to the post you do it in. I've colored it here with my current reads and known flips. Matchcam townread is weakening as I keep reading, STD and CES are pretty close to solid townreads right now too.

I think I must be dangerously right about my scumreads to have gotten DGB so riled up. Also, end of D1 start of D2 how on Earth did chamber and dgb not catch SO MUCH FLAK for preferring a no lynch to an LML lynch?

I'm not a fan of any of the MafiaSSK votes on this page. Feels like a bunch of strong players going for an easy target. I especially don't like LML's #62, which nicely sets up a potential switch to the MafiaSSK wagon while maintaining a push on Tigris. Seems like something scum might do to make sure that two wagons keep momentum.

In post 51, chamber wrote:Her words weren't actually meaningfully responding to the context of the question.

As in: the response was in the abstract rather than talking about what the vote was concretely supposed to do in this game? Meh.

Vote:VitaminR

Either VitR is bussing LML, or Yos is chainsaw defending LML, but not both.

Let me go back to this for a second. No, you're not actively defending her in that you're not saying "guys she's town don't vote her" but you are actively defending her especially in (thanks again for the sweet new tag) in that you're discouraging what is at this point in day two really looking like it was forming into a righteous lynchwagon. So you're still being disingenuous. There's a difference between being unable to read DGB and leaning on that inability to defuse wagons on her.

I'm gonna hazard a guess that once this game is over we'll be able to look back and find that 90% of the posts bitching about the quality of the masons' posts (especially after they claim) is coming from scum. Can't call them scum anymore, but still need to discredit their reads.

Scumteam call, final answer: DGB, chamber, VitR, mathcam <=== will switch my vote as necessary to achieve any of these lynches before deadline, DGB is the best bet and I think the most likely to yield an important scum power role

Now that I've actually read and have context:
In post 2259, Green Crayons wrote:OGML: I'm interested in your opinion on 1) the late D1 votes on KK, 2) KK's D2 feelings on Glork, and Glork's assertion that KK is scum, and 3) anything you have to say about MBL.

1) The votes to note here were DGB and LML. LML's primary motivation seems like an easy "anyone but me." DGB's looks like another clear attempt to get LML out of the noose and a townsperson into it.
2) I don't really have anything useful to say about this. They were wrong? I'm not even actually going back to look at KK's posts about this again right now, I can't speak to his thought process. Obviously I had the benefit of reading the game with Glork having already flipped town.
3) MBL is a distant fifth right now behind the suspect I previously outlined, but he has been... I don't want to say forgettable, but he's sat out a lot of the important goings on and especially his votepark all of day one reflects badly to me.

Why? VitaminR was one of the first people to attack him. Seems arbitrary to only include people with their vote on at that moment in time.

I agree, he probably is, but deadline is tommorow and I don't think there's enough votes on VitR.

Come join us on CES today. Assuming VitR is scum, CES is his most likely buddy anyway.

I would gladly support a VitR lynch, and I am against an STD lynch.

I don't think you need my help.

You're spending an awful lot of time doing so. I feel like I'm actually the only one who has *recently* read the whole game and you keep getting away with implying that I haven't read the game to dismiss me when there is a whole string of posts that are me reading the actual game. Though it feels like people in this game haven't even bothered to read my posts. Congratulations on having more clout than me.

I did a quick ISO, and see that CES did post earlier today. But at that time he was tied for the leading bandwagon (someone had done an unofficial vote count on the very page he posted on), so I still think his absence is actually a knock against him when, even if he isn't a super active player, he hasn't said anything at game time.

GOOD JOB IGNORING THEM AND NOT GIVING THEM AWAY

Vote: DGB

@GC
1) No, that wasn't directed at you. It was directed at ABR and DGB.
2) The day I replaced into the game I didn't get to read too much, maybe less than the first ten pages. My weekend was busy irl with first a slammed shift at work, then girlfriend, daydrinking, drugs, settlers of catan, and various other pursuits I enjoy when not replacing into a mammoth game nearing deadline. Then came Monday, a day on which I worked a double and the rain came pouring down and nothing was happening so I sat in the office on the computer reading the game all day. This is the part that you should be able to follow most easily, because pretty much as soon as I had read far enough to have developed some solid reads I started posting. Interactions with ABR re: Yos came as I continued reading, and I spent a large chunk of that calendar day with two tabs open, one tracking where I was in my read, and one to refresh my bookmarks so I could keep up with rapidfire posts from schizo ABR and others. You'll have to tell me but I think it should be simple enough to follow and even match timestamps to shit I was quoting or posting about and get a vague idea of how fast I was reading. I paid a greater attention to detail in the early game. I skimmed large sections of day three, but (astoundingly! amazingly!) managed to catch details about what my scumspects were posting because when I skim
that's what I'm skimming for
so that's what I stopped and paid the most attention to. I hope this has been a rambling paragraph that helps you and others realize that listening to DGB discredit me by claiming I hadn't read instead of responding to half the points I raised against her was a cheap and obnoxious scumtactic and it is her day to die.

VitaminR is also still so, so scum. Yes, VitR, you were buddying CES, and the fact that he flipped town actually
proves that point
not the other way around. You snowed him (along with chamber) and he was your pet townie right up until he became expendable as a counterwagon to your buddy DGB.

And Yos, the sense to be made from yesterday is that you pushed a counterwagon that scum were only too happy to climb aboard.

ABR, kindly shut the fuck up for about 24 hours and let this thread breathe without you. The town will be better for it.

Hilarious to me that ABR + the people I've namedropped as DGB's most likely scumpartners are the only ones to vote so far today for anyone but DGB. Don't worry STD, we're going to reach a tipping point and start securing lynches well before deadline from here on out.

I was never voting DGB because I thought she was scum, it should be obvious that vote was because she was preferable to a CES lynch.

Do you still categorize her as unreadable?

ok? Did your question have any relevance or did you just feel like trying to smear me some more?

The relevance was that I wish you would stop ignoring DGB out of hand. OK, so you can't read her from her posts. Can you pretend she's someone else and just
look at her voting pattern
for a second and try to conclude whether you'd find random player x with that voting pattern scummy or townie?

This is also functioning to remind other players again of your pattern of behavior regarding DGB all game because I'm pretty confident we can finally get a DGB lynch today.

This thread badly needs more active masons and for chamber to stop piping in
every time a cogent attack on DGB is made
with an immediate "not defending DGB" defense.

chamber, how is the fact that you can't read DGB in any way relevant to whether or not PJ can read DGB or whether or not he should be voting DGB based on his own case?

chamber, do you respect PJ as a scumhunter? Do you believe he's really a mason? If you answered yes to one or both of these questions, and you really will never be able to get an accurate read on DGB yourself, maybe its time to trust his instead of actively trying to dissuade (known town) people from their DGB votes.

GC I think you misunderstood me, I never thought VitR and Yos were scum together. The reason I went back to is because that was, on my first pass, the post that made me think of Yos, "This is LML's scumbuddy, attacking his most serious attacker." Only later on, as VitR's early push on LML gave way to a bunch of scummy nothingness and Yos' early (apparent chainsaw) defense of LML turned around and became the driving force of the LML lynch did I come to reverse these scumreads in my head. The reason I quoted post 94 again when I did is because I think its a post that, even though I initially interpreted it as Yos-scum/VitR-town instead of the other way around, clearly demonstrates Yos and VitR cannot be scum together. If they were then that was scum, voting for scum, for voting for scum, which is I don't think is a reasonable thing to believe.

I still don't understand how you don't have any suspicion of STD. Tell us the truth, how much of the game have you actually read?

To the first part, because the scummiest people in the game continue trying to get him lynched. To the second part, fuck you.

The implication to her post being that I should vote STD or suffer the fate I'm wishing on ABR, which is a crushing realization of being played by the scum. To suffer that fate I would have to be town.

If I were a mathamancer I'd go through and see what % of chamber's posts are direct or indirect DGB defenses because I bet its getting up there.
