I don't like Aneninen's explanation for the 3 sentences thing. You did mention a play style change before game start but you could have done that in preparation for the off chance that you could pull scum and give yourself an advantage, since even if you pulled town you can just make a non-disruptive change to your play style to justify the comment. Win-win situation

The point is that the rule gives you an excuse to post in a manner which makes you more difficult to read which would benefit scum more than town.

When it comes to analysing posts, do you not feel that purposely limiting yourself will be harmful to town?

You shouldn't trust it as face value, that's a good sign. However, to be fair to ika I have a very recognizable meta from another site and my scum game is so terrible that you can tell a mile away.

Yes, I do enjoy fluff and psychic vibes, that plus some hyperactice tunnels is what most of my game is at this point. I'm sure I'll learn some new tricks at this forum.

Egg's later posts make a pretty good point though. Elusive, you clearly have experience playing mafia, why are you deciding who to start tunnelling based on an RVS quiz? Originally I just assumed that you were trying to get some conversation going but now you're actually putting stock in the answers?

Nope, thats not what I said. Although, thats a good way to put it, I do find people who don't answer to be defensive and in need of prodding. Although the last question does give me info to compare to other games where I've asked similar questions and how honest people are or how answers compare. I have played mafia before but I've been very terrible at it but am hoping to improve.

The last question seemed like a good thing to ask actually. I do see where you're coming from, I just feel as though unless you know a person well, trying to discern any kind of meaning from questions like those are less effective than just interacting with people and questioning behavior etc.?

That might just me me though, I suck at meta in general.

I know I haven't actually said much in this game, but just wanted to tell you guys I'm going to be replacing out very soon due to wayyyyy higher than expected study load. Higher education be crazy >_>
