@TSQ & Tarhalindur: Both wagons are joke wagons by the looks of it, I'd also be very suspicious of those who make a policy lynch abainst BM, but with 15 to lynch, I'd like to think at least half the town have the sense not to. I think he gets lynched often Day 1 because his style of posting may be scummy (I understand, quite often, my post style is as well.). If we do lynch BM and he turns up town, as with any town lynch, we'll have to keep a closer eye on those who put the last few votes on him. And even if he's scum, in a game this size, we might have 2 scum groups.

I think 2 Mafia families is likely in a game this size. So is an SK. The face-rip thing sounds like an SK kill, so I'm thinking one of the Mafia targets got protected or something similar.

Usually, about a quater of the players are antitown. 30 divided by 4=7.5. My guess is that we have 1 SK and either 2 Mafia Families of 3 people each or 1 family of 6 people (7 seems a bit excessive for 1 family), there may also be other antitown (or at least neutral) roles involved as well. But for now this is all speculation, we'll probably get a clearer picture in a few days or so.

Ok, there is a risk he is jester, but I'm willing to take that risk. And I would be quite nervous about him running amuck if he is SK, which I think the style of his posts suggests.

The big question I suppose is do we lynch him now or wait to see if he gets NKed?

Thing is, if he's SK, would the scum keep him around, he'd eliminate players quicker, giving us less lynches, but at the risk he kills off Mafia rather than town. That's assuming the SK can get NKed in the first place, in fact, SK's usually get NK immunity.

It's sometimes difficult to decide whether or not to lynch an SK, with an SK, you have the potential of 2 "lynches" per day. But I think Samruc's right, I think it's probably best we get rid of Albert now, we'll often find it's hard enough for the town to decide on the normal lynch, never mind the "SK lynch", we'll end up getting rid of him anyway, so we may as well do it now, rather than risk lynching someone protown. And then of course, he might even be Mafia claiming to be an SK, which is all the more reason to lynch him.

In summary, at worst, we hit an SK, which is an antitown force anyway, and at best, we lynch a Mafiate. Case closed as far as I'm concerned.

It's only if we nail 2 scum in a day it'll be worthwhile, if we don't we're taking out 1 scum and 1 town or possibly even 2 townies, then after all that, we've still got Albert to get rid of. If we keep him around for the purpose of 2 "lynches", chances are we'd probably just hasten a possible scum victory.

Plus the fact that usually, we'll have enough trouble deciding on 1 lynch on a day, we should just lynch Albert and be done with it. We're guaranteed an anti-town player anyway.

If a real SK comes out as an SK, he has eliminated any chance he has of winning. Because if he proves himself, we'll keep him around for a day or two, then lynch him. If he DOESN'T prove himself, then we'll lynch him next-day.

So the only logical conclusion is that he is something OTHER than a serial killer. Maybe he's a jester. Maybe he's mafia. But he is certainly not a serial killer and he is positively not on the town's side.

I'm genuinely shocked that Albert was a Jester, and i'm pretty wary of whoever first suggested that, because the only person i could see knowing such a thing, would be the SK themselves.

I think that was me, it was because Albert's play was so horribly antitown that I was sure he wanted to get himself lynched, hence, the jester suggestion. I doubted he was the SK for the reasons I posted earlier, so I figured he was either Mafia trying a daring if ill-minded gambit, or a jester. I went for mafia on past game experience with him, but I'm not too shocked he was a jester either. It was probably best we got rid of him when we did, since apparently, he said his role was to "sabotage the town for as long as possible".

If Bobbyplump gets lynched and turns up town then obivously K-Scope is scum due to getting a Scum result on him. It wouldn't be a big deal if Bobbyplump turns out town when lynched since he wins with the rest of the town dead or not. However this means nightkill(s) for the night.

However if Bobbyplump is scum then K-Scope would be verified as innocent cop. It would be good to lynch Bobbyplump today then K-Scope because if K-Scope is lynched today and turns out to be cop then we just lost a cop that could of helped the town out and not only that a night kill takes place adding on to the damage.

Look at Kaleidoscope's claim. He says he investigated 4 players and received their alignments. One of those players is dead (MoS) and everyone knows his alignment. What a big coincidence, don't you think? In a 30-player game, Kaleidoscope investigated one player that would be dead right in the day after the investigation.

Thus it was not very difficult for Kaleidoscope to make up a fairly believable sane-cop claim AND, as a bonus, grab the opportunity to make people lynch the guy who uncovered him (bobby). Kaleidoscope is scum.

I'm not sure about it, it might just be coincidence that MOS is dead (he is a popular target for scum and cops), Tar isn't confirmed town for the same reasons you give against K-Scope, he might have just thrown BM under the bus like K-Scope might be doing to Bobby right now.

Your thing on Bobby, he was very suspicious, so he might have investigated him for that (Personally, if I were a cop, I'd investigate players I can't get reads off, but different people have different playstyles.) Though it is quite coincidental as well that he investigated that particular scummy player as well.

Not necessarily, I know someone posted this point earlier but, say K-Scope is GF, and Bobby is his Goon, he sacrifices Bobby, Tar has found him innocent, and now people believe K-Scope is town, which is backed up by Tar's investigation, he keeps up his cop act (claiming his goons innocent along the way, maybe even sacrificing another one just to be certain the town trusts him), and he laughs all the way to endgame.

Well... in a 28 player game with a Jester and a SK, I would expect about 6-7 scum...

2) BM
3) The Fonz
4) Aimee
5) Xyzzy?


There must be at least 2-3 more scum.

We also had TSQ the SK, and ABR wasn't protown either. So, this sort of makes sense. Though personally, I'd expect 1 more scum as well, considering we have 2 mod-confirmed sane cops.
