The following pages were found in a journal belonging to a renowned explorer.

We finally hit land. My crew has faith in me, but there are a few that don’t think I am fit to lead such an expedition as this. I fear a mutiny is upon me. Nevertheless, I shall accomplish my goal. My ancestors are natives to this island, but were wiped out long ago. I heard stories about a mystical stone that belonged to my family, that is hidden, but can yield the owner immortality, as most magical stones tend to do. This stone, the Boon Stone, won’t be easy to find, however, as I fear the current natives aren’t going to let us take it with us without a fight.
