Time for modderific notes of moddy-ness.

First, this game was not well modded, and I'm most definitely ashamed. I feel mostly because I was reluctant to set deadlines, as I kept my telling myself, "they'll naturally come to a consensus! Just wait." Which, strangely enough, you guys did, and I appreciate that. Luckily, that stage of MafScumLife is over with, and I plan to go with three week deadlines, because it's just good practice IMO and after all, days aren't different lengths.

Second point, this game had two very town looking players IMO: elvis_knits and inHimshallibe. I think it's interesting (although it was brought up somewhat near endgame) that after elvis_knits died and inHimshallibe continued not to die, no one wondered why he wasn't dying.
On the contrary, I never really understood what made Adel, Papa Zito and populartajo look more scummy than lurky types like Empking.
Cephrir just looks naturally scummy so that's sad. :(

Final notes: I'm kind of sad muzzz didn't live longer, his cop investigations would have made good posts and the game wrapped up.

If you want to play in another game of mine (which I doubt you do but w/e :D)I'm working on a Large Theme with multiple survivors with abilities, but other than that I'm just modding Open games.

Thanks to all for playing!

Yeah, me too

My third investigation was Darkstrike.

InHim topped my probtown list pretty much from the start. I think Emp also made it there, but I forgot why. So I'll just agree with Elvis that it was her fault.
(j/k)

Knowing that Adel was town was tons of fun. I was kinda surprised that it didn't become the reason I was killed.

Last but not least, kudos to Ekim for making the scum think he was the cop.

I know you weren't playing. I thought you had this thing about self-hammering townies.

In all seriousness, I think this could be the game that had more selfvoting players of all time.

Yeah, but I wasn't paying enough attention to know who they were. Maybe I should check vote counts.

I self hammered on day 3 ( page 44? ) in an attempt to reduce the signal:noise ratio, add emphasis to my scum list, and so that the townie who hammered me (IIRC, all three extant scum were already on my wagon) wouldn't have that hammer used against him later in the game.

Feel free to blacklist me, I am essentially not playing mafia anymore (only a single game in the last 6 month, and it only lasted 10 pages) due to being a policy lynch for competence as scum, and my intense frustration at my inability to get towns to play in a strong and coordinated manner that would enable deep analytic scumhunting rather than the weak behavioral tell bullshit that passes for scumhunting on this site.

btw, I now feel that while my analysis was correct (that I was an inevitable lynch unless a cop with an innocent on me outed himself, and that while I could probably streach out the day for another 20 pages, it wouldn't help out the town) my self-hammer was a mistake, especially since it probably encouraged the clearly sub-optimal self voting behavior by townies later in the game. My self hammer was probably a prelude to my meltdown in Ad Mafia a few weeks later.

If I had it to do over again, I'm not sure what I would do differently. Probably the only thing that would really help is if I put
less
effort into the game before my wagon started on day 3.

IMO this was the reason you were earmarked as scummy, and flagged for attacks later. At least, that was the reason I doubted you until Tajo convinced me otherwise.

Unfortunately, I think my attempts to join the conversation also contributed to your demise. Newbie=scummy. Sorry bout that.

Probably. I liked the way you played this game, personally. IIRC, I caught Erik's scent because of his interactions with you. But I suppose it didn't work that great for getting sceptics to listen.
