NY 114: Mafia vs. Werewolves (Game Over)

There isn't much I can do about it until the crumbs are pointed out, but no. Mafia is IMO a game were information is vital. You constantly have to consider the advantages and disadvantages of sharing the information you have. Sharing the information without sharing it (by hiding it in your post some way) does not fit that picture.

I think the main reason we won was because a) Parama and I were able to take the lead in lynching all of the scummy mafia, and b) everyone seemed to cement their reads right around Unsight's modkill and stopped scumhunting, which allowed us to coast to victory.

AGar, why didn't you just claim? As soon as you pointed to Pom's post (or, to me at least, when you voted tubby) you were obvdoc.
SSBF, I think you played a good game, and with more experience you have the potential to become an awesome player. Keep fighting the good fight and whatnot.
I don't think I have any comments for anyone that haven't been said already.

This was an interesting game and a solid setup and I commend heartily a few of the town players (Lynchmepls, SSBF REALLY jumpt to mind) for their play.

Nik and Parama did a solid job feeding the maw with the flake brigade and that hurt.

Vezo, ohh vezo, you drove me nuts and I think more activity and some analysis of the monks and masons could have led to a 5 person town death brigade that would have been hard to overcome.

15 replacements is a battle that his hard to win. It makes us sad.

I really want to know what's going on with Dry-fit, because I think this is like the second time I've seen him as scummy scum.

What was the other time? I'm pretty sure you had a town read on me the last time we played. In this game I basically considered myself unlynchable because of my role, which turned out to be the case. I didn't feel a great need to appear portown, and got lazy. Not a good excuse but that's what happened.

I don't know if it was modkillable or not but it kind of bothered me for the rest of the game when Midnight in response to the Unsight role pm thing said

It brought him from being one of my top suspects to being almost mod-confirmed town in my mind.

The werewolves played very well. I always read those hyperaggressive players like Parama as town. And when Nik volunteered to massclaim I thought he was town for sure.

It's true that I never finished a game with town parama but his playstyle as scum is diferent than his playstyle as town. So I just need one of the factions to be able to meta.

I stopped reading after I went down, and when I came back to see my whole team was dead. Don't know what happened, but I enjoyed the game. Also I feel vindicated that parama was scum even though I was scum too. On reread that was an interesting battle.

GG Scum. This game was massively frustrating. I was shocked town hung in as long as it did. By far this was the most dysfunctional town I've seen.

Good job to the mod, although the activity requirements made the revolving door pretty much guaranteed, and the revolving door made the game really tough to play.

IMO Vezo has been an absolute liability to every town I've seen him on. I don't say this to be mean, but I do want to point that out. If I were scum I would have left him alive too. If Vezo had been just about any other player in the game, as SpyreX points out, we would have had a pretty powerful team in the monks/masons. Alas.

That post I made is a common way to breadcrumb information so that when someone asks for proof of a claim, you can back it up. I saw the start of rule 8, assumed it was the SOP of "No invisible, hidden or small text" and read no further. I really didn't think you'd take away breadcrumbing ability. I've seen that process used a bunch of times.

i really enjoyed this game. I wish i would have taken control more and just sent in kills no matter if i disscussed them with my partner or not. but hey it was good to be back. i will gladly play with any of you. if you have a large game hard to find 4replacemnets drop me a line i'm game.

and i would pre-in for any game you mod michel, and thats no an offer i hand out willy nilly
