Also, lynching UK was the highlight of the game for me.

I screwed up from the start. Not that I could really do anything against a mod confirmed cop until it was too late.

He wasn't exactly mod confirmed. No one counterclaimed him.

My favorite part was Jack's claim history Cop or Doc --> SK --> Tracker. And then getting NKed anyway.

I went over to nominate him for a scummy but couldn't find an appropriate category.

Mistake after the lynch, so we at that point not only had to have a counterclaim, but reason to the moderation error.

I really enjoyed this game. I'm glad I got to replace in, because it was a really entertaining read. I wish I could've been utilized more, but Nacho handled his role impressively. The town was, for the most part, on top of things. Nocmen (mothrax) was the only scum I felt like I had gotten the better of, although I came around to LynchMePls toward the end of his wagon and start suspecting elderad after his hammering me. LynchMePls was seemingly on defense during his entire time alive, which probably put the scum off on a bad foot from the starting gate.

But gg all, and thanks Mod!

This was a nice game, and I think I played well as scum. It's also one of the nicer games to read - 47 pages but at no point did it feel like hard work to keep up. So thanks to everyone for being entertaining and concise.

The mod error really screwed us. Once the mistake is made there isn't a way to fix it nicely - you either screw the town (by making them mislynch their cop) or you screw the mafia (by mod-confirming the cop).

In the end the game boiled down to how quickly the mafia could find the doc, and we were nowhere near. If I hadn't fakeclaimed we wouldn't have NK'ed DH Night 5, and it's doubtful we'd have picked him up on Night 6 either.

I'm just waiting for confirmation from the others before giving out the scum QT link.

I was very proud of Xine for knowing not to lynch either of the claimed docs. Her experience is still in the single digits.

It is a trend that Yhill posts in my post-games before I do...<3. And thank you sweetie for pointing out one of the few things I did right in this game.
I actually feel ok about this game, I managed to not only catch scum, but participate in their lynch in this game (UK) and now that's erased... oh well. When I gave an intensive effort to put together suspect list at the end of day 3, and then I was still alive in the morning, as the only cop confirmed town, I knew that I was 100% wrong, (which I was) and that would have been key information in late game scum hunting, had the game gotten that far.
Nacho, I was really impressed buy the way you handled the cop role. DH, You seem to attract the Doc role, lol.
Good game everybody!
I think I'll head back to the newbie cue for my next game.

The Set Up seems quite O.P towards town I would say. Lynching UK also helped a great deal in getting that many cop confirmations.

GG. Essentially-confirmed-cop did kind of screw over the scums. I wouldn't say that the scums made all horrible night choices, but shooting EmpKing (over the cop-confirmed investigated-innocent Xine) was definitely a gigantic mistake. Unless you are completely confident that you will hit the Doctor, your top kill should be the "confirmed innocent."

Glork at that point we were frantically searching for the doctor, and we didn't think Xine was the doc.

Hence, "Completely confident." If you can minimize the pool of confirmed/confirmable innocents, the cop is mostly neutralized. The reason you guys lost is because you let way too many people get investigated and live, *because* you were too busy hunting for the Doctor.

It cracks me up that all three scum were the entire wagon on lynchmepls at one point.

Also, apparently I always find red scummy. How unfortunate.

I intended my post to start day 2 that was just a vote on mothrax to be a pretend cop breadcrumb. But then the real cop claimed and the cat was out of the bag on that one.

I thought sudo nym was a pr too the way he was obsessed with me.

Yes I felt bad for you reading the qt of the night before you got lynched.
That was just awesome. We did some MARVELOUS distancing this day, AND the SK died. We're in really good shape.
Tomorrow is going to be awesome.
We're in such good shape after this. I'm positively giddy.

Yeah, distancing has become the new "norm" in a lot of medicore mafias. It's not nearly as valuable as it used to be 6-12 months ago.

On a completely related note, the Antihero/LMP interaction could not have been more obivous. The only real mistake I feel I made was listening to other people about RedCoyote, and not sticking to that scumpair.

The distancing worked on me...sort of. I thought eldarad was scum and lmp was town for eldarads distancing...which is kind of a sucky way to distance. And I did move him off my scum list after lmp flipped scum.
