Giving up my potato would be reactive, not proactive . And silly!
Menno and cerys early town
Honestly confused by primate here: I don't think CES can really think that reading an opening post of, what looks like from my pov, nonsense, and reacting to it is scummy at all. an opener like that deserves a reaction! I'd also be surprised if the stuff there is crucial to game solving, but I'm happy to be wrong.
I'm hoping primate is just generating reactions. If I end up the convo for the whole of the day I'll be surprised and disappointed.
(I read.primates posts in his voice now. That's weird )
P-edit the pressure is real? Huh.-

Fwiw I don't think ces's push is scummy either. I think in hindsight (and primates post helped, ta) I can see why the response was what it was to my post.
My intent was for information and discussion, as I don't think any interaction with what's in the opener would be alignment/massively role indicative: although the codenames one that I didn't know about seems like it actually could have some town utility. It seems like the potato may have the most anyway.-

@myko
Can you give me the TL:Dr of why potatoes was a debacle? Do you think potato voting is or isn't helpful today?
You say I'm 'tripping a lot of newb tells' for someone so practised, but I'm kind of missing the 'thrust' of this sentence, you seem to go from the push is meh to Bella is meh to Bella could or could not be scum, which...yes, that is the game of mafia
I like your points about nexus but I also think it's not a massive leap to have his as day one town just for tone.
I think the op does imply more than one team, and I feel that might link in with postie's point about potato stealers. I don't think it's anything to suspect fenchurch for.
You do the same reads meander with primate: he's helpful, but maybe it's scummy!
In a game where I'm vibing some gut town reads, the slots that are coming off really 'grey' are you, Cpol, and takuma (although their iso is three words).-

I really liked primate's first couple of posts and didn't find them surprising: I think they generated movement. I liked his clarification to me.
I'd like a further comment really on things that aren't me from them.
I do have a reason: the weird 'grey' of your posting. It was further backed up by a post that felt really meandery from you: it seems vaguely negative at most people, without nailing down ant definite reads. Your follow up is a bit better but then this last post feels scummy again: why wouldn't I want to talk to klick, who I can usually read? It's not about back up or poe,
I also wanted to talk to him specifically about your post where I'd asked primate for clarification, you responded with something to imply I shouldn't need it, and then primates post felt useful to me and my understanding of ces's reaction. It's the kind of interjection I /hate/on forum mafia, rather than face to face, and I wanted to sound out whether it was noticeably odd to anyone else.
Also, I've explained when/why I'll give up my potato. The mechanic should be being used way more usefully for pressure elsewhere: my head is already on the block.-

I know? Originally you felt 'grey', as do Cpol and take, and then the nai thing is the interjection. Your meander made me feel worse, hence the vote. I just said this, why are you asking me like 'gotcha'?
@primate, I don't understand his approach, forum or not. It doesn't feel like 'forum' is the reason he's being oblique and weirdly shady.-

The thing Is postie seemed so reasonable day three. Day one and two I wasn't sure, but I was only really scum reading CES at that point. I think the consul mechanic ended up being a lot more harmful than it was intended to b, but I'm really surprised people didn't react more strongly to ces' justification of choices post: it was ridiculously scummy!
But as cpol said, I'm not even sure elim-ing CES helps: maybe if mykos vig worked /and/the elim went through /and/ we had a pr left alive.
Cool and wenna did really well.
