It's pretty heavily implied by the context - the 'more or less wolfy' part in particular only makes sense if you expect me to find it wolfy to some degree.

I'm thinking about it quantitatively. In 26 people it makes sense you've got one player who just legitimately can't post and is telling the truth. What he's saying and what he's putting out are very consistent with each other.

There are players who are actually scummy in this game and are not consistent with what they present themselves to be.

Try taking a look through Ceph's iso and then take a look through Corwin's iso. Tell me then seriously you don't understand why I think Corwin is starting to look pretty trustworthy.

I've looked at Corwin's ISO - it's 3 posts long - two of them are just early game banter, the third is the "I'm reading up" post. He may be truth telling about not being able to post because of IRL but still be scum.

I don't mind a Cephrir wagon, but it's not either or.

After reading Frogster's ISO in his latest scumgame (Large Normal 238), I actually feel decently good about townreading him here. I think he tends to aggressively townblock and PoE from very early on when he's town.

Order matters in every tier except Null + not posted. The Null + not posted is completely random, the other three tiers are ordered intentionally from #1 most townie to #19 least townie. I moved my weakest early townread (Ceph) and weakest early scumread (MorningTweet) to their respective positions withinin the Null + posted tier. Barring some exceptional dayplay in a good or bad direction I don't think the players in the townread tier should go anywhere near the bottom of the PoE and I don't think the players in the scumread tier should go anywhere near the top of the PoE. I think the Null + posted is more townie than the Null + not posted by about a hair length, moreso toward the top of the tier than at the bottom.

I'm skeptical of Malcolm, Off the Hook and Bellaphant so far.

are where I'm most expecting to get a successful D1 hit, based on PoE combined from myself and the players I (relatively) trust.

Right now I'm most interested in any takes which can help narrow down that pool of 11, including elaboration from those players themselves.

In contrast, his scumposting is light (both by the number of posts he writes and by the number of reads he gives when he does post). I've seen a couple of people say his PoE is just LHF, which is probably an objectively accurate statement, but it's also kind of how I'm feeling right now about the game, since not many of the actively engaged posters are pinging me.

I think some of us from KTaNE may be remembering only the most outrageous event from that game (the catboi changeling fiasco). But he really did frequently change his reads as town.

I noticed that they explained a lot of their town leans in 1580, but didn't really go into the scum leans (null scum leans?), which I think is the harder part for scum. As in, it's easier for scum to explain townreads but more difficult to explain scumreads.

I agree with CSF and Frogster that Johnny's read on Frog seems quite weak. If nobody else had been particularly SR'ing the slot then I'd put it down to town just having a gut-read early on. But given Frog got quite a lot of attention early on I think it's possible Johnny saw some momentum on a player that looks townie now and felt like it would be an ideal place to put their vote as scum.

yea Johnny's trajectory onto the wagon was ok imo, but I was looking at who was still on the wagon as an excuse to not do anything else. I see him solving more proactively now, so I could easily be wrong and I'm interested in where he lands

I think that the way they are treating me comes from town them. Calling out Toogeloo early in pt is towny. Their reads are believable. When they are scum they are more stilted.

My PT partner brought up the fact that they don't trust me, that I could be scum, and that I basically asked for a free pass through Day 1.

For those not in the know, I was involved in a head on collision last Friday night. My kids were in the car with me. I was ambulances to the ER, but thankfully my kids walked away with minor injuries.

I am doing some daily physical therapy and we are working with lawyers and insurance right now, and in my down time I am trying to relax and rest.

I saw the PoE stuff, and I was kind of interested to see where he landed with that. But I think you may be overremembering how much discussion you had with them? I didn't find that much beyond asking you to explain some TRs and crossing names off the list.

Looking at their recent posts, I like 2307 though I don't agree with it. Penguin is kind of an easy mislim when town, so I could see scum coming in to push them.

About Galron, it seems to be mostly a metaread and a TvT interaction with Rad. If you could quote some posts where they've done something that is outside their scumrange, that'd be helpful. My general feeling about their posting is in 1106 - another example is the "Challenge me" post that was just ??? random and other tonal stuff like that, and their thought process feels opaque to me.

The reads list one is super vague, does not actually tell me which, if any, of the reads they had issue with -- and also ignores the fact that that was not just a random, unsoliceted reads list. That was a post made in direct response to this post from Johnny.

1763 - just reads to me as, "Mad that they got flack for being away when Mala was't" and I am unsure what makes that something that would bother town more the scum.

Tbh I missed that Taly posted the readslist in response to Johnny asking for it. But when I read the same Taly post, I had a "wow this is a lot of words but not much content", so there was some mindmeld. It also tracks with how annoyed Corwin was when I asked him to post a readslist, so I think the feeling there is real

1763 - it showed some awareness that his scumread (Frogster) was giving certain lurkers (Mala - another scumread of his) preferential treatment, and I think he jumped on something he thought was a suspicious link btween the two. I can see how you see it could be scum mad that they're coming under pressure, but Corwin was pressured shortly after dealing with his family thing so that rings genuine

I'm not really feeling Ceph's scumcase (2301) there. I think Malcolm's Roden progression is fairly transparent. He further disliked Roden's lack of proactive curiosity towards Toad - the "evasiveness"

The "looking at Roden's ISO" could easily come from town who opened up Roden's ISO to check there wasn't something that they missed. This dislike of Roden's readlist is also tracks, because Malcolm also has disliked Toad (who was the one with only Galron in scum reads) and has criticized Galron for having a mostly null reads list as well.

Flavor wise, Jin and Sun can talk to each other from the beginning of the show. Only Sun knows English at first; Jin learns it later - so it makes sense that you can communicate with C&G, and that you communicate with us but C&G cannot

Now that it's calmed down a little, can we (CSF + anyone else who wants to be helpful) meta dive Malcolm? I have a hypothesis that Malcolm is more likely to get baited into 1v1 on D1 when Town than they have done thus far in this game. I recall town!Malcolm getting involved in a lengthy 1v1 with luminous in the completed Large Normal I rolled scum in.

I could use help collecting data points on this idea, and I think it's worth pursuing because it's easily proven wrong and Malcolm is a viable lim today.

After I saw the mason claim, I also did a check of who I thought that Roden's most likely mason partner was. My answer was Pooky.

I think that Dunn was grabbing those posts for a scum chat to suggest that his guess was that Pooky was Roden's mason partner, but accidentally posted it here.

Obviosuly, there is not a town motivation to highlight who you think Roden's mason partner is, so I think that this:

Excluding 5 people besides Pooky for no reason is weird, but it's not like anyone one of those players couldn't come in and either affirm or dispute the claim. If it was me, I'd have just claimed and left Dunn's theory dead in the water. It's not really that manipulative imo, because if Roden is actually a mason and the partner claims then everything Dunn says is moot. It really only applies if Roden is fake claiming.
