It seems to me the queen might have some more power as the queen was a more important figure in the book. Maybe something to do with Madame Bonacieux or D'Artagnan? If this is true, I don't think it's such a good idea for the queen to come out.

Then, when a cardinal spy found out who the queen was and they attacked her, she would not be there.

This comment by Bobacino has been bothering me; I don't remember any other mention of any cardinal spy. With nothing much else to go on,
