First off, why the fuck would he state he was trying to do either thing? Both are weird, flaily things to do and make no sense from a town perspective. If he thought I was scum he would have tried pushing for my lynch, he would not have acted scummy back at me or pretended to be an investigative role. Regardless, I caught him in a lie and he changed his story so I don't see how he's not already lynched.
