The day dawns on a scene much more unsettling than the one before. Three dead, and all of them working towards the Alpha Timeline's Greater Good.

First, xtopherusD was a natural leader. It ran through his veins like the blood he was so hesitant to mention. Of course, one of the marks of a great leader is to know your teammates better than they do themselves, so that you may best use their abilities. Karkat was able to spot imposters with ease.

Next, porfervor wasn't really part of the team, or even part of the story. He just kinda lurked to the side and chattered about horses and rings and was really hard to kill. And for some reason, kids died because of him. Weird, right? What was his deal?

Finaly, Cheery Doge *Dog, was just ur average computer haxor extrodinere *extradinnere *extra dinner yum. Roxy Lalonde was far too drunk to do anything useful.

Can you confirm if a lyncher would be a town or 3rd party role?

If Gorrad has answered already, sorry. Still reading up you posting maniacs. Lyncher could be written as either a 3rd party wincon or as an addition to a town wincon (wins with town but only if x is dead, for example).

Some things to note not mentioned in the role PMs (off the top of my head):
-Had Hussie (the vig) targeted Doc Scratch, Scratch would have turned into Lord English, replacing his abilities with being full BP, giving him strongman kills, and 1-shot lynch immunity. The day would end with his reveal as Lord English, but he would stay alive, forcing the town to use a second lynch to kill him.
-Had Gamzee been targeted by Karkat (the cop), his powers would have immediately transferred to Kurloz, and Gamzee would have become a bulletproof survivor aligned with Kurloz.
-WV's ring gave results on exactly 4 people: PM, and all of the Midnight Crew except Clubs Deuce (who was investigation-immune). Had he targeted Diamonds or Hearts, he would've gotten flavor results incriminating them, not a direct guilty or innocent. Targeting Spades would have turned Spades into Bec Noir, making him BP and giving him a 1-shot double NK. Targeting PM (which he did) made PM BP and gave him a 1-shot double doctor.

Thoughts on balance: LE Mafia was boned by Pasch/Taz. *shrug* You can't balance for player skill, and that's pretty much the point. Yes, they had a slightly harder road to travel than MC, but the probability of a member of a 2-man scumteam in a 30-person game being the first lynch is pretty low.
Mehdi and Mae (but especially Mehdi) played the SK/Backup SK team in a really ineffective way. The most effective play for such a team is to either keep Mae in the background as much as possible (because a Backup SK flip before the SK flip rather fucks everything up), or to make Mae look as town as possible, then get lynched as SK quickly.
In addition to all of that, I thought the town played quite well, especially considering the holy-fuck amount of posts in the game. Thanks a ton to all of the replacements, especially the late-game ones.

My opinion is that you stopped having a chance when you didn't go along with the fakeclaim thing that Mehdi extended to you. You two ride that shit to endgame, and even if Mehdi gets lynched, she flips SK, so you're almost certainly safe anyway.

Lord English component was kind of lulzy to be honest. What exactly are the odds that porf would have shot Pandorica? And what the hell is 1-shot lynch immunity supposed to accomplish?

It forces town to waste a lunch. We knew it was fairly unlikely to occur, but swing gets fairly unimportant in a 30p game with 22 town, so if it did we could afford to make it pretty strong.
