Well, his position as 7th vote on the Monkey wagon when the Arc wagon was just taking off means he wasn't interested in seeing how a counterwagon develops.

I still prefer a Monkey or GNR lynch today. I'm having a hard time understanding the premise of the Phoenicks wagon, to be honest. What precisely is he being accused of? Can one of the residents of his wagon please explain the case against Phoenicks in 2-3 sentences? I can be pretty dumb sometimes, so explain it like you're talking to a five-year-old. I can see where he's made some moves I don't completely understand, but I don't see the scum-motivation behind them.

When I don't understand what the heck someone is doing or why they would do it as any alignment, I tend to take it as a soft towntell - scum tend to be self-consciously rational.

You should vote Viomi instead, then explore Monkey or GNR lynch tomorrow.

I thnk that our best bet to finding more Scum would be D1 analysis anyway. Nero's Voting habits may give us some insight {assuming he knew the Team}, as well as Monkey's. The problem is, until it's confirmed that Monkey is Scum, we can't be 100% sure. I think this will be more effective once we have his flip {not that it needs to happen right this second}.

I think Phoenicks didn't know who the scumteam is, assuming Monkey is town. The way Phoenicks pushed to get the Monkey wagon to go through doesn't make much sense if he knew Monkey is scum.

So, I've played with two types of traitors. One joins the main team when targeted by scum, and the other exists and enables the scumteam with an additional action.
With that in mind, which kind are we thinking Nero was?

I was under the assumption that "Traitor" in this case meant something more along the lines of Ursurper. It was the only thing that made sense to me reflecting upon Nero's flip and Monkey's investigation.

Even if Phoenicks couldn't abandon his zealous attack against Monkey, Nero could have very easily shifted gears. It was my conclusion that Phoenicks/Nero had to lynch Monkey as part of their win condition.

I've played with a couple Ursurpers in my time. The generic one is a member of the Mafia team has to lynch the Godfather in flavorless games in order to win. But in Flavor games, it's usually something related to flavor, like in FF6 Mafia I played on another Board, Kefka and Gestahl were both Mafia, but Kefka could only win if he successfully got Gestahl lynched. Neither were Godfathers (Kefka was a JOAT and Gestahl was a Role Cop).

I also really liked PeregrineV's role, I think it's one of my favourite roles. Not sure if it existed before, but it's one I will use again.

I've seen it before, but it's a mixed blessing since I could out neighbors and masons as well as scum. Didn;t figure there would be masons or neighbors since I was odd-night, and the fact a traitor existed, but you never knew. Arc's claim sealed her as town to me, but not sure if others knew what a a hacker is.
