Matt and desperado aren't scum together
They could be both be scum but I don't see them as being the same scum faction.

I see both points here. I can't see why scum would draw so much attention to themselves but I can't see why town (other than VI) would pull a stunt like this either. The motivation is rather confusing to this head.

why so itchy about multiball so early?
I am not itchy. I just throw up every possibility until I'm left with what's possible. Not "itching for it" but when I say could be it means just that. Could be.

Yeah but you deliberately introduced that possibility without commenting on whether or not it is likely. Do you think it is likely?
I don't know. I just don't like either of them right now.

Hey you ignored me earlier when I asked you to be specific about why you didn't like my reaction to Matt's claim.

Also this vote sucks.

I didn't like it because it looked opportunistic, especially since his gambit benefited town.

Matt, Toogeloo, Amrun, and Thor are town by the way. Maybe sangres, but I can't tell yet.

It's a little presumptive to declare that it helped town, and all those town reads look right to me. Why is trust fund scum?

There's no point in getting the whole town pissed at us AND not make your point because people think it's range. If we go after that hydra, it will need to be coordinated. Erm... no?

Newbie scum play safe games, try to stay out of the lime light, etc.
Pro scum try gambits that will excuse the reason they are still alive later in the game when they are normally night killed early on.
Looking at motivation here. I see no town motivation. I see exactly what he alluded to ~ gambit. It works to give him town cred while at the same time looking for (and finding?) a PR for NK. Claim yourself is fine, stupid IMO, but fine. Coaxing someone who could easily not be vanilla to do the same...nah. Why isn't this a hot topic?

This is odd behavior for GiF. He says he aggressively WhiteKnights what he sees as bad lynches when town ~ every time. Yet, though he had the opportunity to, and plainly reads SK as town, he instead throws out a limp, no conviction hand with "how is this slot scum again?". This isn't GiF as town. Interpreting this as a sarcastic response to Amrun, You clearly think we should be looking on the wagon, not off it, but then you go after GIF, who wasn't on it, with a point that isn't objectively very good on someone who can't respond to pressure right now.

VOTE: john doe
Did you somehow miss the whole vote analysis thing where it's apparent there's nothing to be gained from that wagon at this time. There wasn't one solid reason for any vote. The ISOs I looked at for those players (which was most of them) was just as fruitless. If you're going to omgus vote me, at least have to courtesy to point out what I may have overlooked to corroborate how bad I suck.

Add bork to the scum pile because instead of giving a clear counter argument, he just discredits the case all together with no work to back up that lame shit.

At the time I said that to Amrun, I hadn't looked at the wagon at all. Then I looked at the wagon and was like, oh... And saw why she was off that reservation.

The omgus comes from basically saying my GiF case is stupid and leaving it at that with zero counterpoints other than your opinion. At least my case has reasoning and thought behind it. Your dismissal of it reflects on you. And it's omgus.

I did say I stuck my foot in my mouth with the Amrun thing... How long are you going to flog me for it. And yeah, having no suspicion based on WHO a player is as opposed to HOW THEY'RE PLAYING THE GAME is lame as fuck. Regrettably, I see town do that all the time. As much as I would like that to be a scum tell, it just isn't and we still need the numbers to be successful. In a perfect world where everyone puts in equal work, I would policy lynch the shit out of that.

You know how you've bolstered it with the KBW thing, right? It's because GiF isn't a lazy fuck. He puts in the work. He has a ton of meta on people. Him saying considering KBW is in that hydra equates to him very much town reading them off a meta tell or similar, which then goes back to my point. Why didn't GiF WK when that's his always meta as town?

Because he wasn't trying to argue that he thought KBW was town. He was arguing that KBW does dumb crap a lot so stuff people are calling scummy is probably null.
Then we'll just agree to disagree. I'm not getting roped into another argue with scum for a couple of pages until he tag teams to another scumbuddy to keep it up, eventually walling in the original legitimate point I made. I thoroughly explained why I'm voting GiF. It's there to see. Deal with it.

Whiteknighting is when a person openly defend the other person.
It's different from chainsaw defense, which is indirectly defending a person while attacking a person who attacked the person.

So how is whiteknighting different from just defending someone?

Also, do you defend anyone who's in trouble?

Do you require a good reason to defend someone, or is it randomly determined who gets defended?

This I agree with. OMGLY

@Desperado, Wayne's interpretation makes a whole lot more sense than yours.

@All, I also think it's important to look at why Trust Fund died. My partner made a big deal about him being scum and then all of a sudden Trust Fund dies. The move is designed, most likely, to discredit and place suspicion on our slot at the same time.

Yeah, except we know Chesskid died to the zombies, and you *knew* Trust was the mafia kill, not Majiffy.

S'ok, scumslips happen. Eat your rope and learn for next time.
I "knew" based on the flavor. Vig is usually referred to as a shot. Rick got shot. Zombies ate the mafia guy according to the flavor. Yet, if we aren't listening to the flavor, I don't know anything.

Way to misinterpret. Nothing to do with playstyle, it's his insistence on spamming not-game content right now that is entirely anti-town.
It's anti town to get frustrated over someone trolling you and ask them to stop. If you want anti town behavior, you need to look at the instigator, not the target dipshit.

OGML reminds me of Oversoul-scum in Pikmin mafia where I was the vig and Oversoul totally refused to consider that I might actually be a vig, he was so intent to having me lynched (in great part because I swore to shoot him down at night if allowed to live another day).

OGML is picking on the scum chosen lynch-du-jour, Jon Doe, a hydra player that got some suspicion yesterday, and whose tone is a little tentative, so OGML smells blood. OR HE'S BUS'ING I havent figured out yet but from memory I would say that Jon Doe is town from the way he's interacting with OGML and trying to fend him off.

OGML is accusing Jon Doe of "NK-info slipping" but in fact, it is OGML himself who is "NK-info slipping" - it is only because he has inside info on the NKs that he is not considering that Jon Doe might be a vig.

@ JON DOE
- DO NOT CONFIRM OR DENY WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE VIG.
I like this post. My tone does tend to be a little tentative while looking for information. I'm curious to see what happens here with the both of you.

I like Thor's reluctance to have anyone label him as town.

As for the flavor thing, if the host posts it, I will analyze it unless told otherwise. I have never played with this host so I figured a flavor that long had to have clues in it.

Ok, to whoever wanted to know my thought process on the flavor analysis, I'll walk you through it set by step, without role claiming.

First, I don't ask my hydra head for permission to analyze that's stupid. Excuse me partner, may I have permission to scum hunt? Hahaha. Please anyone who expects me to tell my partner what exactly I'm analyzing hasn't played with me before. I analyze everything.

Now, onto what I actually read.

First, that flavor was freaking long. That indicates to me the host meant for us to read it and gather information.

1) There were three deaths.
2) The first death could not be a zombie.
3) The second death is obviously a zombie.
4) The third death said shot. Vigilantes are usually shots.

I then looked at the names. Most seemed unsubstantial at the time but for Trust Fund. Given my partner's reaction to Trust Fund, I wasn't surprised that he was dead. My working theory, which I have already exposed is that Trust Fund was killed in order to make Wayne head look bad. I figured Wayne's FoS was due to their history and told him in our QT that if we ever went after Trust Fund again, I'd do it. That was my polite way of saying I think Trust Fund is town and you're just making a butt out of us for no reason.

It does make sense. This wagon is being pushed HARD by people for analyzing something I didn't know we could indeed analyze. Frankly, that should be obvious to most of you at least one of the people pushing this is scum. What I was doing wasn't setup speculation or garbage like that. I was actually trying to move the game forward. It was just an unwritten rule that flavor doesn't get analyzed. However, the point about Trust Fund's death and all of a sudden my slot's lynch being pushed remains.

With an unstoppable hoard and 2-5 deaths a night, I don't think multiball is an option here. SK or x-shot vig, maybe. Having two scum factions, a random 1-3 kills from a mechanic, and a SK/vig would be up to 7 dead per day. Doing the math, that doesn't add up.

@Thor/Cain, I really like the OGML case better and his sudden vanishing after being FoSed seems to indicate he doesn't want more attention being brought to him. That being said, Sugar and GiF have been the biggest other suspects in our thread right now. Sugar and OGML are both consistent with how the nightkills went down. I just would rather stay on the wagon with a stronger case. If Sugar says something scummy later, I'll talk to my other head about it. I don't like Sugar, but I like OGML less. Sugar's voting pattern has been erratic at best. By the way, this head doesn't like "sheeping" that much. I usually hesitate to even sheep confirmed town. Plus the begging people to sheep you makes your case look much weaker and possibly scum driven.

@Thor, was the "King of the Scum" comment necessary?

This is basically, after the Trust Fund flip, I would expect scum to start attacking us hard for no reason. Given the fact both of you have voted us, you being scum is consistent with my view of how the nightkills went down.
Sugar's voting pattern has been erratic at best.
So that's the only reason you suspect us other than "Sugar and GIF being the most talked about in the thread"
Absolutely not. Wayne laid down the meta case against GiF. As for you, your over the top reactions and general behavior in the thread make me paranoid enough. Then, there is Thor's case which is decent but I don't fully trust Thor. I have bigger fish to fry than you. I might change my mind in the mean time.
