I'm in wait-and-see mode. I'm tremendously reluctant to lynch a claimed power role when I think it's possible scum left him alive JUST to provoke this response. Like I said, I don't think he should get to LYLO but I'm okay with letting it alone for now. If he's truthful, then he likely won't make it to LYLO anyway.

I was looking for help in figuring out where the kills were coming from.
I don't have an agenda. I was trying to discuss something I think is probably important. If there's another SK out there it's probably better we know that. I know for sure there's an extra kill.
We have someone at L-1. We're going to night pretty soon, I suspect. Why are you so apparently upset that I'm talking about this, please? I don't get why it's agitating you.

I don't know, Heartless. All I can do is look at the facts we know and try to organise them into something that might be helpful later on.
Do you think it's bad for town to consider various possibilities regarding the kills? If you think it's pointless, please just say so.

@Heartless: I don't know the end yet.
I think there is another SK out there. I don't have the first idea of how to hunt them right now, though.
Without more flips, there isn't any way to narrow it down further. I think I have narrowed it down as far as I can in terms of what we should be looking for.
Like I said, I'm looking for help in figuring it out. If you think it's too early, that's cool. But at least the facts in what approaches some kind of order are out there now.
I freely admit I'm not the world's greatest scumhunter. The best I can usually do is to present known facts logically and try to work from there. My gutreads usually suck. But in this large game with the current participation level, basically anything that can motivate town to try to work things out and stay engaged is a good thing to me. If people think my theories suck, I'm eager to hear their countertheories. But having no theories out there at all seems a lot worse to me.

I think it's really clear if Vonflare flips scum (as I expect) then you were one of the prime motivators for that lynch, Marquis.

I think with a couple more flips it ought to make more sense.
I'm still not buying multiball though because the off-kill doesn't look like scum-kill to me. Well, maybe another SK, but not two groupscum multiball. The Critic verified that all three of the groupscum flipped were on the same team (I can find that if you need it, but I'm certain it's there). That seems REALLY unlikely if there were two groups of scum. Statistically improbable.
Still it can't be entirely dismissed if we don't keep hitting scum.
@Marquis: It doesn't prove that, because Heartless's theory also works:
No one targeted Mastin except Aristophanes's bus driver power.
Aeronaut was targeting Heartless anyway from inattention or belief that he was immune (Reina's theory).
Aeronaut killed himself.
The other theory is possible but it isn't the most elegant or likely barring a second known SK. There's an unexplained kill last night, but that's a separate issue.

I support and endorse this statement. However, we know Aristophanes must have used his power last night, so maybe that's some kind of explanation too. I need to think about that more.

I was confused yesterday because of this; I thought he was breadcrumbing his partner. I then realised that he was instead crumbing who he would target last night: Anxiety.
I believe that Marquis can back up my claim today.

And I would listen to you why? Since you were suspecting both me and my mason partner throughout the game and you claimed doc yourself under what was really minimal pressure?
I targeted Marquis for something that ought to confirm me as what I say I am. I know who Reina targeted. I could easily see a scenario in which 4nxi3ty skated through without having to claim nor being under the suspicion he deserves.
Also, who did you protect? That might have been the missing kill, no?

It's worth noting that Reina claimed a modified cop power that cleared Psyche. On night one (and on odd nights thereafter) I had the option to send a bulletproof effective only for Reina. I did that night one. That's why the weird interaction where I tried to verify that Reina received it and that that wasn't why he was thinking Psyche was town (it wasn't).
I sent the item to Marquis last night because otherwise the bulletproof would have cancelled out the investigative part of the Hide. I think that's what Reina wanted based on what's in this thread, but if not, sorry Reina

Some additions from me (representing only my opinion):
Being on the Ika lynch isn't really that big a deal imo. I think scum could see the way the wind was blowing, so that seems like a place to start hunting scum bussers more than a place to look at people being town for being on it.
I chose Marquis specifically for a reason. Marquis was the ARCHITECT of the Vonflare lynch. He got me interested (it's hard to focus in a large game, I'm sure I'm not the only one) in Vonflare the day we lynched Shaft and he kept the pressure on until that lynch happened. I can see bussing early on, but not at that point in the game with so many scum down and so many attractive targets to go after. Marquis isn't groupscum; I'm sure of this much for myself. I also thought Marquis had a good chance of surviving the night.
I think it's an interesting outlier that Boonskies was ready to hammer on the first two scum and that he balked and tried to form a counterwagon on me for the Vonflare lynch. I'm sure there's a measure of OMGUS, but I would still like to hear his reasoning on that given his play previously in this game.
What happens early in the game and what happens when there are three scum down and out already can be pretty different. I put more priority on who was willing to lynch Vonflare and who fought back against it or just tried to shift it subtly than I do on anything having to do with Ika and, to a lesser degree, Shaft.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
So if you're looking for scum on Ika, here are the possibilities:
Hostile Intent
PeregrineV
Varsoon
Boonskiies
I'm not sure I'm crazy about a mass claim right now. We have enough targets already and if there are investigatives left then we want to protect them if we can.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

I love NoFace too. But either we're going to lynch 4nxi3ty and have a guaranteed not-town lynch or we're going to lynch in a pretty small pool from my perspective.
This strikes me as a serious overreaction to one vote:
Whatever, stopped caring. Get it over with quickly so town can move on and stop being ****s.
If we're not going for 4nxi3ty, I would lynch this, I think. It seems to me that town has been pretty stunningly accurate in getting three scum lynches in three days, so this attitude makes no sense for town right now. It makes perfect sense for scum in this situation, though.

Okay, with that, we have these people who are either semi-conftown or very town to me:
Estival - Cleared by psyche
Jackel98- cop-hacker
Mastin2 - Cleared by psyche
Psyche - Psyche
Seraphim - semi-cleared by claiming demotivation on (night 1 or 2, not sure)
Marquis - Town for pushing Vonflare lynch through to fruition
Gilgamesh - I think he's town. I thought there was some sort of confirmation but I don't honestly remember.
Bookitty - town mason
DEF NOT TOWN: 4nxi3ty: Claimed survivor
That leaves Honey bee, Varsoon and Boonskiies as the most likely remaining scum/SK whatever. My preference is for Varsoon, and I'll explain why a little bit later.
I'll look at this more when I get back in a little while.

So you haven't used your power yet?
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Why is your alternative Marquis, Mastin? Do you think his behaviour around the Vonflare lynch was bussing?
I don't know what you mean by settled, Psyche. Was I unsettled before?

Based on Reina's role, I'm thinking that Boonskiies may be the scum counterpart.
Also, what is referring to Gilga, please?

Mastin:
You are remembering that Marquis pushed a Vonflare lynch the day before Vonflare was lynched too, right? That was his preferred lynch during the Shaft build-up. I remember because he asked for anyone to look at it and I took him up on that.
Does that factor into your thought process at all in suspecting Marquis? Does it make sense to you that Marquis would push a lynch on one scumbuddy to try to take the heat off another?

Even if he's not scum, the people who aren't him that're near the chopping block have night actions that they can attempt to prove during tonight. (By which, I mean V and Boonskiies.)
I just...really think he's the answer, here. That by lynching him, we take out scum, maybe even the last scum.
I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you here, sadly enough. Vonflare was far from a foregone conclusion when Marquis started pushing him as a counterwagon to Shaft. Marquis was fighting a lonely little battle to try to get him lynched, so it's not true that Vonflare was an obvious wagon to push. Why push another scum wagon when you're going to lose one of your buddies already? I think Estival was a more logical push at that point, especially since she's now been cleared by Psyche.
If you want to go this route and let people prove themselves, why not take out 4nxi3ty first? That would accomplish roughly the same thing without the risk of taking out town.
@Psyche: What did you mean by your comment about whether I was settled?

I was Reina's mason partner, uncounterclaimed and probably obvious from the thread, so I would think so.
Do you think I am not?

Mastin, I know you're really busy in the real world, so don't feel pressured by this, please.
Can you walk me through why you think Marquis is scum? I have an idea myself but I want to hear your theory on this, please. I'm going to look harder at some things and I want to compare notes when and if you can do this.
I'm not averse to a Boonskiies lynch except that we have been remarkably successful in lynching scum so far and I would like to continue that wining streak. Yeah, he could be scum, but I'm just not sure.
4nxi3ty is sort of a personal thing for me; Reina gave up his game life to do this investigation. Reina/Gamma clearly thought 4nxi3ty was scummy and it's not until he was outed as not-town that 4nxi3ty started doing anything that looked to me like scumhunting. We have no way to know if he's the last scum or if he's actually what he says he is. I would like to test THAT claim, quite honestly.

I guess that Marquis is cleared of being groupscum because of the investigation by Psyche. 4nxi3ty remains uncleared on that count. I have a bunch of posts that to me proves that Marquis can't be groupscum; if they're needed, I'll post them, but I don't see the need now.
Psyche is town. I gave Reina a Scooby Snack on Night One to save his life. Someone else turned his visit to Psyche into a cop; I don't think we ever got a claim on that, but he was sure Psyche was town, so I'm going to trust this. Thus Psyche is town.
Psyche, could you give a list of your investigations? I can hunt them if you want, but it would be easier if you just told us.
Jackel, can you explain a bit how your power works and list your actions throughout the game? Again, I think you've done this but it would be helpful to see it here.
Here's some of my guesses on the kills:
Night One:
Farside killed herself accidentally via HeartLess.
Aeronaut killed The Bulge.
??? killed Aeronaut. (Remember, it can't be scum because the scum shot was used up on Mollie, Night Two.)
Night Two:
Shaft killed Mollie (posthumously).
Scum killed Cheet or Aristo.
Marquis killed Flubber.
One kill unaccounted for (Aristo and Cheet).
Night Three:
HeartLess almost certainly a scum kill.
Hostile Intent claimed by Marquis.
Reina died by targeting 4nxi3ty.
Night Four:
BRO killed by ???
No kill claimed by Marquis.
(This is interesting because the day preceding Night Four we lynched scum. If there were scum left, you'd think there would be two kills.)
@Marquis: Who did you target Night Four?
Night Five:
Marquis targeted Mastin and failed.
No other kill attempt?
That's where I'm at right now. I would like answers to the questions I asked before I try to dig into this more.
