Soft counterclaim to throw uncertainty in the mix and confuse Town.

But hey, I can only see what I'm observing.

I endorse massclaim and am willing to go first. The only reason I wanted to hold back on massclaim D4 was to conceal a possible protective role, which is pretty plainly not in evidence.

If FL is Town, Blawb is scum. Everything else still works.

But she isn't.

Alright hold on, I'm going to give that some actual thought, and not be flippant.

Scum bag, for being so experienced your logic is failing you.

BulbaScum is not hammering town for a win why?
Well, he can't anymore. Shh for ten minutes, I'm trying to answer your question.

Okay, giving serious thought to the Blawb/FL inversion.
Froot Loop - [4] Blawb, curiouskarmadog, Camn, Pine
Blawb - [2] BulbaFenix, Froot Loop,
Assuming Blawb scum and FL Town, then the Blawb claim is scum-driven. The only vote out of all the votes listed that was kneejerk and not considered was BulbaFenix's. I'm inclined to say that the scum plan over night was to use the Cop given by Hermie to set up the dichotomy of FL/BLawb, playing to people's pre-existing suspicions. There's merit to that. However, to avoid a scumhammer, you'd need the whole three-man team in {Blawb, curiouskarmadog, Camn, Pine}. That just doesn't compute. Okay, let's assume that BF was voteparking until L-1, and didn't move fast enough. That still assumes two in {Blawb, curiouskarmadog, Camn, Pine}. That brings me back to {Blawb, CKD}.

Yeah, it doesn't change anything.

PEdit: Why not? If I'm the scumteam, I don't put all my eggs in one basket. Not in LYLO, not until L-1 can be managed.

Dude, I agree with you. I don't think FL is Town. Nor do I think you are Town. However, you requested serious consideration that I was wrong, and I gave it. That's some pretty serious strawman chainsawing.

Okay, I skimmed the whole gambit, and Froot's reaction to it. There are two things to note. First of all, she waited until near the end of the gambit cycle to do anything, until most people had already shot their load in regard to it. Then she cuts in and echoes my call for people to reject the premise of the gambit.

So yeah, that's scum theater. This is further supported by the fact that you called her out for it, but haven't made any kind of serious move on her until today, after a guilty forces your hand.

PEdit: No.

This thread is pissing me off. A guilty result necessitates a 1v1, and Froot has been given loads of opportunity to demonstrate Towniness. I'm not confbiased, Froot. Confbiased would have looked like not giving you a chance to full claim and declare targets and such.

Claim don't make no sense.

What thoughts are there to have? It's entirely speculative.

Petit: CKD unvoted. He initially voted because his buddy's lynch looked inevitable, but he's taking the opportunity to stall. I think it's L-2

Scum PT can be released. As for game length...wait til you see how much we posted in the scum PT. Each and every surviving scum player posted more there than in the main thread. We had diddly in the way of power, but daytalk led to the most coordinated team I've ever been on. Good game.

Honestly, a lot of you had good reads. It was less about pushing mislynches and more about keeping people from forming coalitions we didn't want. There was certainly enough suspicion of BF and I to manage a lynch, especially the last two days. The trick wasn't addressing those suspicions directly, but in getting Town working at cross purposes.

We were crazy paranoid about endgame surprises. That's why we were tactical bussing in LYLO and not scumhammering.

I really don't like beating up on Town when I scumwin. They didn't suck, they were deceived and manipulated. Mith knows I've been there...we all have. Being Town with a competent and coordinated scumteam is HARD.

Tldr: More praise for me, less bitching about Town

So I'm watching
Catching Fire
right now, and President Snow is fucking SAVAGE. He is way more awful than I ever remember. It is a tribute to Donald Sutherland's performance that after a while I actually found myself doing that sneer/snarl thing that the animal hindbrain does to react to a threat when he came on screen. Good villains make good heroes.
