I'm still having trouble seeing it. I think wanting to avoid a quick, relatively information-less lynch is a common concern for most townies. Although it can just as easily be faked by scum, I liked his kneejerk vote in response to Super subtly egging him on to hammer the vote. If there was anything that pointed me towards a scum-Boon, it would be this post where he takes a strange double position on the wagon. But even then, it just looks like a bait to me.

From what I understand Boon is like ika. He always wants to hammer. It's like playing with the hated modifier at all times.

So it really doesn't seem that strange to me that he wanted to hammer, but I think he also thought better of it at this point in the game.

What methods tho? Were you outside the box?

I tie people together as town. If I find something suspicious, I'm going to not only pressure the person who did it, but eventually ask other people about it as well so that there's a trail.

So, for example, Pepto scumslipped in that game and I pressured titus because I felt some weird vibes between Pepto and titus earlier, and she insisted that pepto hadn't slipped, when it was really obvious to every town player that he slipped. Then molla replaced pepto and played like his freaking scum meta.

Basically, I rely more heavily on meta and preflip associations than most players. And that's fine...it works for me. Really well actually. People well tell me it's bad, and IDGAF. I'm not gonna change that playstyle. I also have a few scumtells I find pretty reliable, and I also look for scumslips. I'm usually, but not always, all over the place D1, so I can kinda be all over the place, but once I lock in I lock in.

There's my playstyle in a nutshell.

I should say, it was the most coherent town I've ever been a part of. I'm not trying to take all the glory. It was literally the best town I've ever seen, as a group, and it was an all-around victory. We lynched scum all five days, and we prevented one or two scumkills and used a special mechanic to weaken scum as well. But I played my part in it. Was the most fun I ever had playing this damn game.

Anyway -- back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Obvious slight bias since Malachite is my slot, but malachite really didn't say anything and shouldn't really be a topic of interest for someone with no reads (aka Peregrine). As town, I'd expect him to move to a bigger wagon and try and manufacture reads off reactions. To me his actions make no sense.

Desperado's is bad because if Gamma was scum, there's no reason for him to 'forget' it was multiball. there's nothing strange about town forgetting that fact. it's like looking at something that is 'weird' (forgetting the multiball) and calling it scummy without actually putting thought into it.

This bothered me as well. But I figured you probably hit the Q+ button a few times. You immediately responding to it makes me believe it wasn't intentional, and I agree that Desperado's post was probably the worst of the bunch, but only because I didn't like his explanation for it here. But overall, Fro99er UNTIL 577 seems to be wary or have Hans as scum in varying degrees. In 577, he declares one of or both Hans/VIFAM are like his mason buddy as an agreement and from there, I see no mention of any issues.

Given the flip, the only other thing I would like to point out is Frogger did have an announced strong townread on Brian Skies. It wasn't really acted on or challenged but it's definitely something to consider when mentioning that Fro99er's voting pattern doesn't match his suspicions early in D1.
