I don't think this will be a problem we have to deal with or think too hard about until much later in the game. I have faith that town will be cognizant of the lynches, who hammers, and who gets night killed and if necessary do something about it via non-conventional means.
But yeah the same person shouldn't hammer twice, and priority goes to people who have 0.I'll give you a moment to let that sink in-

I don't really know how people can get a read off of 69/71 either way. And even tonally I think 71 sounds better.
I agree with Hito that for how cocksure Wheme was about Chesskid, the sudden jump off unto fire and then bins for what I can mostly just assume are lolz and lol wagons! respectively is jarring.
I'd go vote there but I also don't like Bins saying "trust me guys, I'm town, give your coke cokes to me!" instead of prioritizing critically reading the game.
Also I wonder when the game will become exciting enough for Spiffeh to re-engage with it.I'll give you a moment to let that sink in-

Maybe because it's a lame not-even-insightful mechanics post on page 7, lagging behind the rest of the game. That's how it looks to me.In post 168, Bulbazak wrote:
Gut is telling me there's something incredibly wrong here, but I don't have the deep theory background to figure out what it is.In post 164, xyzzy wrote:a better wagon will definitely come up because a dumb vague claim isn't enough to lynch someone on
anywho: it occurs to me that starting on day 2 and beyond, if we have a choice between lynching two people and one of them has hammered someone, we should lynch that person, because if they happen to both be scum, the one who theoretically might have the maximum amount of cocaine is the one to go with
Reasons; Analysis; Commentary: do you have them?
Why would it matter if you addressed his vote? If I don't address yours, will you keep it forever (it's a shitty vote btw)? How is what whemestar did explained by inexperience (besides the fact he's a noob)? In post 226, Spiffeh wrote:I obviously realize that
I more have a problem with him abandoning the vote on me when I'd done nothing to really address it to chase something that can easily be explained by inexperience and doesn't even look all that scummy to me regardless
@hito, hmm perhaps "probable lylo" is incorrect the more I think about it, but assuming a roughly even distribution of coke and assuming scum keep their share, the earliest possibility of outright losing is when 8-10 kgs worth (ballpark estimate obviously) is drained from dead people, since it will be taken by scum from NKs and consolidated in (hopefully) town hammerers.I'll give you a moment to let that sink in-

Any particular reason you didn't feel like answering me, but instead preferred explaining your vote to the guy you scum read?In post 245, Bins wrote:reasons
Okay so it seems like you really didn't have a reason to tack on the "hito needed to address my vote" and could have just left your FOS at "he's voting lynchbait at the surface level". I also don't think my posts at the time of your vote had anything to do with defending chesskid, unless you think light banter is "endearing" in which case you could accuse the majority of the playerlist with that. After your vote, I did post I believe twice that referred to Wheme and Chesskid together but that's not defending chess kid from wheme, that's pointing out just how "pitiful" the attack really was and defending Chesskid from Cephrir if anything; besides, I don't need to endear myself to chess kid, me, him, and elli are all friends outside this site, and are very dear to each other's hearts. In post 277, Spiffeh wrote:
Idk his vote on me didn't seem like RVS and I'm a very self centered player so the fact that he abandons it so easily in exchange for voting what I perceive to be lynchbait caught my attentionIn post 235, ActionDan wrote:Why would it matter if you addressed his vote? I don't know how I can justify what Whemestar did being explained by his inexperience without mentioning his inexperience...
It's early, I don't see why anyone needs to be married to their reads in the first place. And yeah it was a really abrupt change but it looks more like going after something bad on a surface level and passing it off as scum motivated
It's kind of why I had a gut scum read on you earlier; you defended chesskid from what was a pretty pitiful attack from Whemestar and it looked like a way for you to endear yourself to him.
Uh, you can mention why what Wheme did is a mark of an inexperienced player, and simply not an a priori proof of "he's inexperienced, therefore what he did is a result of that!", is what I was getting at. Still interested in hearing that.
In post 325, Cephrir wrote:I actually liked it.Firebringer is probably my strongest townread in this thread actually, so I'm interested to hear whether you guys like that was a town post voting him or if you think he's scum that deserved a vote. I'm not sure I'm the one who's being pedantic here. Clearly "reasons" was implied for the Bulba vote, but I mentioned "analysis and commentary" because they're synonyms for "reasons" if you talk about bulba, and they can also be applied more broadly to the rest of the game if don't choose to limit your focus to him in your answer.I'll give you a moment to let that sink in-

Scum read or not before they got into it me and Bulb asked the same basic question in the same basic way, basically. Bins took the time to answer me first with "no", before engaging with Bulba more directly. I suppose those reasons for the read materialized more from that further engagement than either of our initial questions but it's still weird to me.In post 438, grapes wrote:What's inconsistent about it?
Bulba is bins' scumread.
Do you normally see town be more reactionary to accusations from scumreads actively engaging them or people chirping in with quotewalls from the sidelines?I'll give you a moment to let that sink in-

I don't think there needs to be "an option". You could answer both. That said I should have phrased the question differently because it didn't accurately reflect what transpired. It's not necessarily scummy as it was weird/off-putting, and again, I thought it deserved a followup. In post 454, grapes wrote:
The scumread has everything to do with it, it makes more sense from a town mindset to engage a scumread and create noise/discussion there than with someone you don't have a read on when given the option. I'll concede that the "no" was kinda cheeky; but I'm not sure that's scummy or why you think the order of events with that is particularly noteworthy. In post 442, ActionDan wrote:Scum read or not before they got into it me and Bulb asked the same basic question in the same basic way, basically.
Why's firebringer your top town?
FB is a top town read for the exact opposite of what Xyzzy said, that is, I think he's behaving differently than when he was scum in the last fakegod game I played with him in. He's a bit more serious here and I've liked his reads so far and his posts are just, better.I'll give you a moment to let that sink in-

Desp is right about the word "random" being out of place though. Desp has reasons and is displaying them to specify why in particular Kagami being townread by hito is circumspect. Hito should not be saying that it's a random townread that Desp is picking at.

The former means that you copy and pasted the list in the OP, and used that to be sure you didn't miss anyone. Is there a reality where these posts exist together?

even if he had replied the second way without an example attached, that would be sufficient for a scum read?
The funny thing is based on your thought process here Grapes would call you town for it. Because you asked a question with a clear "town answer"/"scum answer" in mind.
