I'm curious what DV thought of when he saw Kat's claim.

When I first saw it I thought it was town, but then I came to think what I posted in thread about it not making much sense to me as a town role. Whether this belief was invalid or not, I wouldn't know. I actually believed that if Katsuki was scum, the scumteam must have had a vanilla role that Katsuki used as inspiration for the claim. I'm amazed that there wasn't!

Also, I really appreciate the compliments, but I did make my own fair share of mistakes this game, the biggest of which being the muffin mislynch.

I received multiple PMs from people outside the game with high praises of your play.

It was incredibly hard trying to sway DV away from wanting my lynch and casting doubt onto his reads. I managed to do so for a short while, only for him to still vote me anyways! I was lucky that the 4-scum theory took hold so that some of the suspicion could be alleviated onto someone else (which turned out to be desp), but it was something for DV to reevaluate after the things I said, and still think me as scum.

Great job, Kat. You did a heck of a job winning this one for your side. Not to take anything at all away from that, but when you have not one, but two, townies that hammer themselves... yeah... I guess that's just accepted practice in 2014 now. I think that's a pretty sad state of affairs for MS, but that's a whole other can of worms.

Much props to DV for keeping us in this one until the end. I think Sal/notscience played pretty good, too! Thanks FG for hosting. I've never been a hated role before, so it was a cool change of pace. I'd say gg, but I don't really feel as though it was a good game. I'm glad for the mod and whomever else was content with it though, but just me personally it was not the type of Mafia that I enjoy for the most part.

Yeah, well, I mean, I didn't really go research it or anything, but I kind of figured it called for it. Plus I know I'm the type of player that is liable to attract votes, for better or for worse, so I figured getting that out there soon was the best bet.

BTW, FG, if/when you run any micros/minis, please put me on your list of interested parties.

Hated Townie is generally claimed first post, which allows it to be played like an Innocent Child.

The downside is, people will policy lynch you one day before LyLo.

Those players did not seem like they were going to vote me.
A NL would just have resulted in me getting lynched D2, giving the scum a free kill.

*shrug* I don't believe in that. I think that's a naive way to look at things, brother. Anything can happen in Mafia, especially over the course of a night phase.

I still love you, amigo. I just strongly disagree with your decision there and would strongly advise you against it in the future. If you get caught up into that, "I'm too scummy this game... the town would be better off without me... I'm just going to get lynched eventually ;_; *slit wrists*" mentality, then you need to snap out of it. Get away from the game for a while or something. If the town's going to lynch you, then the town's going to lynch you; don't help them do it!

This is one of those theory questions that is going to have so many different answers to it, but personally I would say don't. Especially D1 when the distribution of roles is unknown, especially in a FG game when roles are bound to be a little off the wall.
