Often when I replace in big games players are helpful, and it helps me get into the swing of things. Welcoming a replacement pro-actively in a 200+ page game can really make a difference. I replaced into massive apathy.

Nah, scum and neighbors often have day chat in larges, so that wasn't strange. People just assumed the standard town neighbor-scum neighbor.

As explained in the dead PT as well, full scum neighborhood simply doesn't make any sense because it has no utility. As a town neighbor you want to figure out the alignment of your neighbor(s). As a scum neighborhood you want to fool your neighbor(s) that you are town. Both scum? There's absolutely nothing to do. The sole purpose of them is setup WIFOM, to mislead the town. Roles that don't make any sense and only exist to mislead the town shouldn't be in non-bastard games.

For the record, I'd just like to say that I should not have softed nearly as hard as I did. But my reads were semi decent. And Wisdom was tunneling on me, which shouldn't have been as frustrating as it was.

Also pie, don't feel so bad really, I feel like after the madoka game on osu! i was finally able to improve my scumgame, was glad to finally put that into practice here, but unfortunately off-site + real life stuff hit midway through the game

the bar will definitely be substantially raised next time we both wind up in a game. fortunately I have a pretty good idea of where I went wrong here and so I can take steps to ensure it won't happen again :<
