I mean unless we guessed right on the day I replaced in (which we did but you had an ability you never should have had in the first place) we were going to lose.
Anyway, I don't want to point fingers at anyone but I think from a balance perspective and the way the town played prior to me replacing in, this game was a) not enjoyable, and b) lost by the time I got here. I just expedited the inevitable.

Still don't know why SK never voted Wisdom. I would have happily quick hammered wisdom had that happened

That said, surrendering is a no-no in mafia. Everything can turn around. If you don't have the motivation to turn it around, replace out.

Didn't surrender? Was still actively trying to find your buddies but guessed wrong on the Lufan/Tere thing.

I thought he was going to try and get cred for your lynch or something and he just messed up the prepared posts which is why I voted him.

Funny thing is I didn't like that you replaced in because I figured you are yet another player mostly unfamiliar with me and familiar with muffin so you would most likely sheep him.

But the opposite happened

Sure you could make the argument that I was reckless with my playstyle in this game (and over extended), which is true, but I never surrendered. Too many things stacked against the town by the time I showed up and mafia capitalized on that apathy/lack of motivation wonderfully. I was legitimately town reading Mac/Alchemist based on their play in comparison to the other townies.

no but I am probably just going to kill you anytime your post count reaches over 500 posts and you are not confirmed town.
You're like Titus in that regard. Inherently anti-town.

I'm fine with the scumboard being public.

Great experience - my 4th time ever as scum (random generator was broken on previous sites because reasons). Thanks very much for hosting and I enjoyed the flavour :)

A big massive scumhug to muffin because he played really well and as he will see from the scumboard the faked scum conversation he did was pretty bang on apart from including Xayzeck. Hilarious! :D

Enjoyed this large theme a lot but I think probably weekend V/LAs aren't really compatible with such a large and wordy game. Found it very hard to keep up, so something to consider for myself.

I am also amazed at how scummy is still above the line of town acceptability! I thought I was reeking scumbag. :)
Mostly V/LA at weekends. GTKAS - Tere
I am also really too busy to play mafia to the quality level I prefer. I should spectate. If you see me in more than one game tell me off! Also invite me to cool games to spectate. I will bring cupcakes! <3

If you haven't found all of the scum by post 500, you need to stop.

It is a bell curve, Wisdom. And you're WAY off the "hump" of the bell curve.

Play with me again, wisdom. When we're on the same team we're unstoppable. But either of our scum games beat the others' towngames.

Pedit: over soul that's not true. Wisdom posts as often as town than as scum. My theatre about wisdom's meta was legit, check that one out.

And finding <all of the scum> is a tough job, mate. Well, at least find 1 or 2 scum, but when they're all unflipped, you can't really tell.

I know. I am saying regardless of my alignment and his, at 500 posts the bell tolls for Wisdom.

I'm planning on running a Gen III non-uPick, traditional-style large theme sometime in the near future. (I'm staying away from uPicks for a while so there's a lot more time to work on balance and design.)

Other comments withheld.

Yeah, uPicks are so hard from a modding perspective. When I did a uPick (of Pokemon actually) it was sloppy too. Hard to balance roles that you want to have versus "giving everyone a role". :| I liked the first game in your pokemon series! Looked good :)

You should probably be a bit more careful with setup balance, scum was a lot stronger than town :/
Not saying that's what cost us the game, the fucktrain of the first 3 days did that.
