This setup is wildly experimental and probably not balanced - perfect for Marathon Weekend!

Here's how it will work:

Daystart, 4 town, 3 mafia.
If a townie is hammered on Day 1, then mafia choose to reveal 2 members of the mafia, and the hammered townie has to assassinate (guess) the last member of the mafia. If guessed correctly, town wins. If guessed incorrectly, mafia wins.
If a mafioso is hammered on Day 1, then the two remaining members of the mafia have to choose one of them to die on Night 1, and then the game goes into Day 2, after which play continues like a regular mafia game (elimination > nightkill > 3p ELo).

Also I initially planned to run this setup with like, more town so that Day 1 wasn't ELo, but I had foreseen how hard it would be to get this to fill up so I did it like this.

its hard to know the setup balance with just one game but i had fun

i actually think this game favors eliminating town day 1 when it should be punishing to town.
I still stand by what i originally said about it being better to eliminate the strongest town (and even if they are scum thats a win).

Right, I'll try to run this maybe in the open Queue with 9 players (6 town) and see what happens. Non-zero chance nobody will sign up though.

no, the one you were scum in and i totally would've vigged your partner and cleared myself except someone said "hey don't use the vig day one" except it turns out the setup is balanced around town using the vig to do exactly that and just yeeting a townie without it is scum auto-win
