Yeah, scum can just 2-for-1 town-town pairs. It needs at least a doctor imo.

Also i found some flaws that i mentioned in my lover PT.
For example if a scum is paired with town and that town is getting lynched they can breakup before the lynch goes through.
Additionally scum can breakup with town before NKing them.
While town is going overall blindly.

Which is what McMenno's discreet modifier was about

but yes, the breakup mechanic in particular needs a lot of attention. I'm thinking of making it only resolve at the end of phases or something along those lines. If anyone has suggestions I'm all ears. I'd like to run something similar as a Mini or Large Theme at some point.

Also survivor in a game like this where playerlist effectively gets reduced to 1/2 due to the loverization going on is pretty swingy.

If it's run again, i'd probably reconsider my stance on it being townie to pair up, and effectively risking being just VT for the sake of preventing multiple town deaths is better, but of course, in a marathon i dont have time to think of these implications, and i completely overlooked the breakup abuse.

I think its better to have a lover as both factions.
For scum to fakeclaim to your partner and establish a good read and, in case you die, you drag town with you
For town to start townblock/gain pr's/drag scum with them/scumread partner

I think you can reduce heartbroken to 1 phase, not dayphase. My cop was basically useless because i couldnt establish a decent lover pt if i wanted to be an odd-night cop, which is bad in this setup anyway

If you want i can help you rebalance some stuff, i have some pr's in mind that change balance a lot and maintain swing

Like love cop: you can inv a couple and u will get guilty if 1 or both of them are scum
Etc xd

Unexplained opinions can be townie in marathons since you dont have time to explain (here it was a bit less due to long days)
But jumping on wagons, suddenly omgussing and changing from null to scum with vote on someone in 3 posts is scum.

Menno was pure rvs that wasnt responded to, a bit of meta and a shitload of luck.
