Re: favourite episodes, gotta be Modern Warfare. That was the moment the show stopped being decent and became unbelievably awesome. Possibly my favourite scene is the one in Football, Feminism and You with Jeff and Troy arguing about what's racist.

This. Including the last part.
Honourable Mentions for best episode include Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas, Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design, Epidemiology, and Debate 109.

hahaha yeah. the first time i watched that i got pissed at the beginning because there is nothing I hate more in a sitcom than a clip show. Then I realized what was going on and laughed a lot.
My favourite line: "You can yell at me all you want, but i've seen enough movies to know that popping the back of a raft makes it go faster"

Paradigms, Chaos, and the Paintball episodes are my favourites. I also love Accounting for Lawyers, just for the chloroform bit. Also, Conspiracy Theories is awesome, too.

It is a reference. Dan Harmon mentions it in that blog post I linked a few back. He also explains why the last two were switched. Turns out Chaos was a LOT harder to edit than the one before it.

I forced a friend of mine to watch the episode yesterday. By the time she started singing along to Kiss From A Rose, she was hooked. Borrowed both of the first two seasons off me this morning.

I'm assuming that ties back in to the "having a therapist" thing, or it's just a random throwaway scene that added that on for randomness, like Troy and Abed playing Operation on Pierce.
Also, I just watched the blooper reel from season 2 and got mildly offended at their jokes about Sacramento. It's like I live here, I know it sucks but I didn't know everyone else knew it sucked as well. Although, it was pretty hilarious...
Sacramento may be a toilet, but it's OUR toilet. Nobody craps in our toilet except us.

I really, really loved this episode. Huge character development, great insight in to Abed and Annie, and finally a Troy and Abed in the Morning skit with a guest who was actually playing along.
Second viewing: The Dual-i-Dean is still the most elaborate costume he's ever done.

I cried during About a Boy, the soundtrack. I get more turned on by women in pyjamas than in lingerie, I just like to know they're comfortable. I see why people find Clive Owen attractive to the point where I might just be attracted to him.

How were you "not thrilled"? Personally, this was one of my favourite episodes of Community ever. It nailed everything the show was always about, and as a bonus IT ACTUALLY INVOLVED A CLASS, which is something this season was lacking. Also, having the actual medical examiner from Law and Order was a nice touch. Honestly, I don't think thee's much that this episode didn't hit dead on.

The sound, the camera angles, the way people asked and answered questions. It all had the ring of Law and Order, even more so than the obvious things. I really liked this episode. It's up there with Chaos Theory and the Ken Burns episode for this season.
And the best part: That's the actual Medical Examiner from Law and Order. Just made the whole spoof so much more satisfying.

So turns out the real story is Community, Parks & Rec, and 30 Rock for 13-ep seasons, but ONLY 30 ROCK'S is the end of the series. Likely result is that if one of the other half-season runs they have on bombs, or if Community gets decent ratings, then it gets 30 Rock's spot when that finishes.

Well, any second try at this was going to be a little disappointing, but I loved all the random callbacks. Also, film noir paintball would've been great.

Exactly this. Who cares if we get three brand-new episodes of the most original show on TV?

I'm just hoping this becomes more of a MASH Season 6 deal, rather than that season of Scrubs that never existed.
Reck, don't forget they still have Megan Ganz and Andy Bobrow. They wrote some of my favourite episodes (Calligraphy, the Documentary episodes, Law and Order from Ganz, and Rocket Science, Mixology, and Pillows from Bobrow). Hopefully between those two and the writers they have, they can wrap the show up satisfactorily.
