They don't have it on the radio here, I feel sad.

I'm sure they'll replay some of it for when I get home though.

It's still celebrated on the day, but because we then lose our saturday/sunday, the monday becomes part of the weekend. (best effect is christmas on a saturday for boxing day to then make tuesday a public holiday)

I'm in the same boat, plenty of things we can do in Sydney though.

I would probably need somewhere though :(

The knighthood rubbish is just new ways of attacking him. It's not likely to make any difference, I just hope the people that voted him in learn by next election.

I'm still fine with a Liberal government, but not with Abbott as the leader.

Gillard would have been fine if not for her and Rudd stabbing each other in the back whenever labor were in government.

I have been voting for my preferred minor parties, however the order I place labor and liberal on the bottom will remain based on who I hate the most of politicians outside my electorate thanks all the same. (They can raise if I like the person I have a say in)

I do kind of consider the options heavily for the senate though.

With how Abbott keeps describing why he should stay, I think he should call an early election to see if the people actually still want him.

I feel like this should be the most appropriate thread. (although MelbMeet 2017 came close)

I'm going to be heading into NSW in a couple of weeks on holiday.
Most likely I'll be in Katoomba, but hell if I actually know anything. (traveling with parents places again), but since we're driving, I believe I can access other places while not actually knowing how far anything is from anything else. Let me know if that sort of suits anything because I think I'm going to need stuff to do over there.
