Absolutely. The only thing to which we'll need to commit in the any-kind-of-near future is whether or not enough people will be attending for us to need to book two cabins rather than one and I would be pretty surprised at this point if we don't have enough to be sure about that. Specifics can be delayed until people know what they're doing.

I'm not really -in- London, just a short train journey away, and I couldn't host anyone before the trip unless I find a new place to live (which is high on my agenda for the new year) which has enough room (unlikely, given my price range), but I'm 100% up for dropping in on the 24th to do stuff.

'twas a good time! After a bit of a delay getting everyone together in the same part of the British Museum at the same time, we had a brief wander around in there before setting up in a little cafe and playing mafia using sachets of sugar as role PMs. Then a walk down to the Thames before splitting up to head home.

It was great to meet kirroha and Sudo for the first time! Can't wait to converge on the cabin tomorrow.

I'm back, though not before enduring one of those train journeys with all the cliches - you know, large man cramping me out of my space for three hours, screaming children, an old man talking loudly about the Bee Gees to literally nobody. Deeply tired and got the last dregs of Meetitis in my system; I'm looking forward to bed.

Wanted to say thank you to everyone for making it another great week - a little more subdued than previous ones, mostly I think due to rampant illness, but totally worth the coughs and sniffles to spend time with you all. Particular thanks to our trans-Atlantic visitors; it was a huge pleasure to have both of you come and join us and I hope that it won't be too long before we see each other's faces again.

I'll probably share some memories in the next few days (and I'll certainly share some photos) but, listen, I just love all of you so fucking much, okay? These meets feel like home. Looking forward to the next one.

It's usually at least the latter (though we tend to waive that for replacements if they become necessary) but only sometimes the former as well (our 2013 invitational used a people-as-roles smalltown format, but the others since have varied from meet-themed Upicks to just closed setups).

There's been talk in the Skype chat of a Jungle of Bullshit invitational if fewer people are interested and I'd definitely play the shit out of that on the forum. But I'd play anything.
